Don't know if true or not, but who would like to see Eden Hazard in a Hammers shirt?

1.) 05 Dec 2021 10:44:57
Not at 400k a week, thanks.

2.) 05 Dec 2021 20:26:23
Agree with Major, the signing fee at 21 mill is good but his wage is way too high for us

02 Dec 2021 20:48:03
I've read we're interested in Nathan Ake on loan with obligation to buy?

1.) 03 Dec 2021 11:01:25
Wow, that would be interesting. I think he ius a left footed centre back which MOYES wants due to OGBONNA being injured.

I see we are linked with Lots of strikers, HLOZEK, CABRAL, BARBOSA and WIND which is good as MIKEY seems to have lost his touch for the time being.#

Is Lingard going to return?

2.) 04 Dec 2021 10:55:20
I think the majority of fans would be very pleased to see Lingard back in Jan.

As usual, we’ve been linked with a bucketload of strikers. I really rate Hlozek, but I doubt he is the main target.

If Lingard comes, then the other front man must be an out and out established goal scorer. If Lingard doesn’t come, then Hlozek plus that striker works fine for me too.

I’m still not sure that we need another CB. Both Baptiste and Alese have shown they’re good enough.

{Ed002's Note - The options right now look something like this:
Giovanni Simeone (F) Cagliari need to sell to cover themselves financially and will listen to offers. They had hoped that Atletico would come in with a good offer but that hasn't happened. West Ham have a long-term interest and spoke again with his representative but he would need to be matched with a Centre Forward due to his size. Sevilla have had an offer rejected but could return.
Adam Hlozek (S) has been scouted by West Ham, RBL, Milan, Liverpool, Dortmund, Arsenal and others but has a desire to move to West Ham where Soucek, who he shares an agent with, plays. Has made clear that he will want assurances of game time. Dortmund will push.
Sardar Azmoun (F) Out of contract in the summer and available as a Free Agent. Emerging as an option for Everton to replace either Calvert-Lewin or Richarlison if either were to leave. Prior interest of Leicester, Lazio, PSV, Liverpool and Marseille has gone - but he been playing very well for Zenit and that has also attracted the interest of Milan and West Ham. Expect a move this summer.
Mohamed Bayo (S) Clement Foot have no interest in selling cheaply although have noted that Brighton, Chelsea and West Ham have had scouts at games watching him. It is difficult to see how a Work Permit would be obtained for England unless paying well over the odds for a player often described as clumsy. Don't rule out a West Ham offer.
Youssef En-Nesyri (S) West Ham and Manchester United apparently, via a third party, have made an approach to ask about availability and price for the player who has done well this season, but has not set the world alight previously. Will be off the AFCON when it comes around. Makes little sense given Sevilla are not looking to sell and would demand around €50M but there remains the thought both sides could will look again. It would be doubtful he would be a starter for Manchester United. Arsenal has also shown interest in the player as a replacement for Lacazette but they need to raise funds to balance the books and could only be a viable option if a significant sale were made or a player used in exchange.
Folarin Balogun (S) is frustrated at the lack of opportunities at Arsenal and his "agent" is again offering him around with interest from West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen. A loan seems more likely.}

3.) 04 Dec 2021 11:45:09
Great info. Thank you.

4.) 05 Dec 2021 08:47:14
Phew lots of info there Ed?My knowledge of overseas players is zero, at home if available, I rate Ake and did at B’mouth, a big yes for me for Lingard, so that’s the two for me at the moment from home soil, not sure how many more needed?
Fantastic win yesterday from the team and DM, didn’t see that coming, just a shame about the previous dropped points Brighton etc, but we can’t win all our supposed winnable games, that’s what makes our game so interesting! One week head in the clouds then next bought back to reality, great stuff from everybody, not known expectations like this since being a ⚒⚒ fan from the late ‘50’s ? Great to see Bowen reap his reward for the graft he puts in, hope he bangs more in, lovely Penalty from Lanzini, thanks Arthur for the dodgy cross, keep those coming⚒⚒⚒COYI

5.) 05 Dec 2021 10:47:21
That game was the PL at its best and why it’s revered around the world.

6.) 05 Dec 2021 20:27:38
See Newcastle are looking at Ake too. Ake played under Howe previously so if he does move I would guess Newcastle is probably in front position.

01 Dec 2021 17:38:09
I see Nketiah has turned down a contract offer at Arsenal, his contract runs out at end of season so Arsenal might want to cash in on him in January, (I'm only mentioning him as we've been linked with him in the past), and with Lingards and Tarkowski contracts also running down we could pretty much pick these 3 players up for less than £30m, just a thought.

1.) 03 Dec 2021 11:03:33
Great Shout Stevie. 3 Bargains on the Horizon

27 Aug 2021 11:49:54
Zagreb, Genk and Rapid Vienna, great chance to get out the group.

1.) 27 Aug 2021 11:55:16
Paul Onauchu will score against us no doubt.

2.) 27 Aug 2021 12:03:04
They will be playing like it's a cup final against us!

3.) 27 Aug 2021 12:39:06
Handy draw depending on what sort of team we put out, if we play our strongest team we will get out of that group.

4.) 28 Aug 2021 10:33:01
Iron. Al, Just been looking up Paul Onahchu as I know nothing about him although I have seen his name connected with us! Wow he’s a giant at 6.7 in and great statistics, apparently £17m could get him, that could be some buy if we could get him?
He would terrify defenders if he put put himself about! âš’âš’âš’âš’.

5.) 28 Aug 2021 17:32:30
He's a unit and uses it well from what I've seen his finishing also looks very good. Don't think we are willing to take a punt at 17m incase he can't make the step up. A loan with an option to buy would be perfect with how tight money is.

04 Aug 2021 14:01:22
I've just seen that Zouma had turned us down?

1.) 04 Aug 2021 15:36:51
According to the guardian.

2.) 04 Aug 2021 15:51:17
Yep and apparently we still have hopes of a Lingaard deal. Is this for real. AGAIAN, WHAT A WASTE OF A SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW. Dithering Dave and the chuckles can't organise a preverbial in a brewery.

3.) 04 Aug 2021 16:04:23
I can’t believe they paid £45m for Haller, £38m for Anderson who were both unproven in the prem, but they don’t want to sign Lingard for £30m who is proven in the prem and more importantly he’s proved he can do it in a West Ham shirt, it doesn’t matter how long he’s got left on his contract he basically got us into Europe, just pay it!

4.) 04 Aug 2021 17:48:42
More to the point much better work needs to go in to identifying targets we have a chance of signing
Tammy 140k and 40m
Zouma wages and 30m
Lingard over 100k and 30m
Do i need to go on
Reminds me of bacca summers or the many other windows we had to put up with the relentless chasing of targets that are out of our budget range.

5.) 04 Aug 2021 18:21:19
Its all BS again. Amd a typical west ham window. Striker targets and now few and far between. Everyome remember how last season there was big talk around ivan toney? There is still origi, ings but by the time moyes makes a decision it will be too late. And to add insult to injury we are squabbling with coufal, typical west ham.

6.) 04 Aug 2021 18:47:45
Aston Villa have just shown us how to do it, they’ve just signed Danny Ings, how quick was that!

7.) 04 Aug 2021 19:40:01
We have been linked with every player and his dog let's hope we don't end up with another dog like Haller. 2 months ago Moyes announced he will need to improve our scouting team he certainly hit the nail on the head. Moyes has found a big weakness in our scouting of player now its time for the chuckle Brothers to back him and get the players he wants not the players that r the cheapest. Is it that they won't spend because they r hoping to sell and save money?
We had a great season last year don't let it be wasted.

8.) 04 Aug 2021 19:40:22
Wow that was quick. We are a joke.

9.) 04 Aug 2021 20:52:43
The coup de gras will be when Rice goes on last day of window with no replacement lined up.

10.) 04 Aug 2021 20:54:17
Apparently Zouma has been offered a new contact at Chelsea. We've been messed about here same as Man u are messing us with lingard. It's a joke that we are still hanging on for lingard.

When we finally finish squabbling over the price for Milenkovic he'll probably decide he doesn't want to come or someone will beat us to it.

We have a great opportunity and if we don't push on now our best players will leave over the next couple of seasons.

11.) 04 Aug 2021 21:06:03
Not only the players I should imagine moyes will get more attractive offers soon aswell.

12.) 05 Aug 2021 08:34:04
Agreed Red. Its a joke. WATFORD LOOKING at loan for pereira lmfao you couldn't make it up. Clearly without a like fir like replacement for lingaard we will struggle. We need a game changer, 2 strikers and cb quick.

13.) 07 Aug 2021 01:02:52
Lingard wasnt in a rush to say he wanted to stay news was that he was to fight for his place at UTD but is obviously waiting for a better offer so if it was my decision i'd tell him to jog on.

Are you having a laugh or what, skys game of the day is Wolves v Liverpool, you've got to wait until the 94th minute for a goal, absolute joke!

1.) 05 Dec 2021 00:27:41
Unfortunately sky are contractually obliged not to show BT live games for I believe a minimum of 24hours. The BBC have an agreement to show highlites with BT .

04 Dec 2021 14:35:30
Well, Antonio must've read my halftime post as he did up his game in the second half, fantastic result, just a shame we've slipped up at home to, Palace, Brentford and Brighton!

04 Dec 2021 13:24:33
Nearly every ball that's gone into Antonio he's ended up losing possession, and he didn't pick his player up for there first goal, he needs to up his game in the second half or sub him off and play Bowen through the middle.

1.) 04 Dec 2021 13:32:19
Agreed he really has stopped doing the things that made him hard to play against and the work at the corner was poor.

2.) 04 Dec 2021 13:34:13
Shame that Johnson looked to do his hamstring as Mount would not have had that space if Johnson could have run back. Leaves us short now with full backs and hopefully Zouma is okay or we really will be short of defenders.

03 Dec 2021 06:39:35
Can someone tell me why overhead kicks are not classed as a high boot, you could see Coufal wanted to go and head the ball but was wary of Maupays high boot?

1.) 03 Dec 2021 11:33:20
Good point Stevie?Maybe if the opponent/ defender is behind the attacker, then the overhead kicker is unable to see who’s behind, but that obviously doesn’t apply if the defender is facing his the overhead kicker! But that still doesn’t alter the fact that the Boot is raised and dangerous!
Perhaps somebody else could answer the question?⚒⚒⚒⚒

2.) 04 Dec 2021 10:56:45
Interesting thought, though it would be a sad loss to the game if it were banned.

01 Dec 2021 21:29:25
Crap performance and I still would've said that if we won, Antonio was crap, that was hard to watch, bloody fuming!

1.) 01 Dec 2021 21:51:26
Agree with both posts, we were abysmal, to many damp squibs up front! Several were anonymous up front, Antonio, Benrahma for me not a PL performer, Bowen grafts but cannot score, same with Fornals!
Hope we get new recruits up front in January if possible or anybody that can score that is available!
Are we feeling affects of to much Football now? ⚒⚒⚒⚒

2.) 01 Dec 2021 22:30:03
Antonio looked a yard off the pace and Benrahma’s distribution was dreadful. Defensively we look really solid. I’d start Masuaku on Saturday ahead of Benrahma as he’s naturally left footed.

3.) 01 Dec 2021 23:52:00
I would start Lanzini in place of Benrahma. I wouldn't have said that about Lanzini a couple of months ago, but of late when he has come on he has not only added some flair but has also really grafted. Benrahma looks like he thinks that isn't his job. If not Lanzini then let's put in another tough midfielder like Kral and play with 4-3-2-1, give Rice and Soucek some support as when it goes wide on our left the ball just moves past our holding midfielders and no-one gets back to support with energy. Benrahma got caught on the wrong side of his man over and over again.

4.) 02 Dec 2021 09:49:06
RE forwards; Jesse Lingard back on the agenda as a Jan signing - let's hope so this time!

Our squad was thin last season, it’s even thinner now as we’ve got rid of Anderson and Balbuena! They’ve got to do something soon surely!

The only real chance of getting into the champions league is by winning the Europa league as I very much doubt we will finish top 4, and to do that we need a strong squad, also they promised Rice that they would build a team around him, that’s probably why he hasn’t signed an extended contract yet as he wants to see who comes in, but admittedly there’s still plenty of time but it would be nice to have at least one in by the time the season kicks off, preferably an out n out striker.

It wasn’t Lingards fault he didn’t join us in the summer, he’s contracted to Man Utd so he had to be careful what he said, he couldn’t really go around saying he wants out, Man Utd is his boyhood club and he didn’t want to upset anyone or upset the Utd fans, he wants to leave that club on good terms, if he joins us in January that would be a great signing as he can take over from Benrahma who will be on international duty.

If we could get Tarkowski for £20m or maybe less and the talk is Lingard can go for £10m, I think that would be good business.

I was frustrated with Antonio at the end when there was 30 seconds left he ran in towards goal and fluffed it which gave Everton the chance to get up the other end and get a last chance corner, just lucky they didn’t score from it, Antonio should’ve just ran towards the corner rather than put us supporters through that.
