Now I've actually sat down and thought about it, the cynic in me wonders how long the club will keep quiet and not deny or confirm this rumour in order to perpetuate some positive hype, only to declare that Moyes has signed a new 4 year contract at the end of the season. Either that or Moyes goes and we get someone equally as uninspiring as a replacement.
I mean, I would just love this rumour to be true and for us to sign Amorim, but let's be honest with ourselves here, he has a £20M release clause at Sporting and there is no way on Gods' Green Earth that Sullivan is going to splash that kind of money on an "unproven in the PL manager" no matter who he is or how good he is.
I really wanted there to be some substance to this story but I'm now 99% certain that it's all pie in the sky.

Hmmmm, I see that AMORIM's Agents have said that if he is offered the job, he would accept, however, I also see that APPARENTLY, the board have still not made a decision on DAVID MOYES (this has got SULLIVAN Written all over it) . Anything to get in the news.
If we are in talks with AMORIM, and we sent a private p[lane for him, I would suggest we wine and dine him and impress out of him because he is just the sort of manager we need.

Regarding Borja I agree with Billy. I think he is totally overrated. The other week Chelsea scored 5 or 6 goals in one match. He was playing as centre forward from the start of the match, and didn’t score one or even an assist.
I think he would also be a total Moyes type player and one small hope is that we didn’t go for him because hopefully at the end of the season we may be a Moyes-less zone ?

I'm in agreement with what's been said about Broja. Totally overrated.
One can only hope that Moyes is for the chop at the end of the season, but why, oh why has Sullivan put the fans through a season of misery with the sh*t football and dashed transfer hopes, other than to save a few bob on compensation? It's an indication he couldn't give a toss about WHU. All he's interested in is his pocket. Moyes has to go, yes, but he's only part of the problem. The sooner Sullivan, and his brand of secondhand car dealership, goes, the better.

I'm not so sure on BROJA I think there is goals in him tinny just my opinion but we desperately need a vocal point up front as I'm not convinced one iota that BOWEN is a striker he's an out and out winger for me and he was constantly having balls launched up around his neck and he just isn't that type of player although for his size he's very good in the air but he's no Number 9 that's for sure and silly bollocks DD having his head in his hands when a ball is played in the air to BOWEN and our opponents win the ball it's his proxy tactics and style of ball his killing us and it's all down to one clown DD.⚒⚒⚒

Nahhhhhhhhh to much baggage and attitude. Same as Duran Duran. Never worth £40m. What has he done to warrant that value. I reckon we are doing the right thing and moving on, although, we seem to do that a lot every window because again, Sullivan loves a deal.
As it stands and rumour mill is now gathering pace, before the end of the window we may well lose PAQUETA (Who Flamengo are apparently determined to get) and KUDUS who Sudia Arabian clubs are very very interested in. Not sure how much we would get for them both, but, . it should easily be enough for LOP to rebuild the team how he wants it. I think at the momentfunds are TIGHT (I could be wrong) hence why so much wheeling and dealing

West Ham are currently in talks with right backs, centre backs, defensive midfielders, wingers and most importantly, forwards.
It is hoped that some of these talks will lead to signings soon, but don't hold your breath.
Tobido don't want to come so why do we continue trying. We need full backs, at least 1 midfielder, a cb amd at least 1 striker but we are all over the place as always
