Linked with robin Gosens at LB 9 goals, 11 assists for Atlanta would be amazed if we got him not sure where the money would come from.

Iron.Al

1.) 10 Sep 2020 21:10:21
All the Ed’s have said Money is tight and that players have go out wheelchair lanzini etc GDS loam the money and act as guarantees. When we have bought early in past teams seem to only want players on loan taking advantage that we need them of the wage bill.

2.) 10 Sep 2020 21:26:10
I'd be proper made up if we were to sign Robin Gosens.

3.) 10 Sep 2020 21:43:24
I'm really pissed about WILSHIRE as he's apparently over his playing weight and looks slow and cumbersome in training I really bigged him up but he clearly is just picking up serious money and not giving nothing back but there in makes the point on SULLIVAN signing named has been that are severely croaked or well past their best before date there should be something clubs can do to stop players doing this like what WILSHIRE has down once bitten triple shy as CARROL and DYER have also done their part in conning WHUFC and not giving nothing or next to nothing back. COYI.

4.) 10 Sep 2020 23:05:00
Think when is not fit to play he gets 20k a instead of 70/ 80k.

5.) 11 Sep 2020 08:24:21
I think if West Ham suddenly have the money to buy Tarkowski AND then buy a £25-30 million left back, it’s probably because we have agreed to sell Declan Rice.

Otherwise I simply don’t see where the money is coming from.

6.) 11 Sep 2020 09:37:26
The owners take out loans which they guarantee so don’t be surprised if they do invest the drop is far more expensive scatter gun approach out and some excess players.

7.) 11 Sep 2020 21:08:39
That can't be true Ed surely that WILSHIRE only gets £20k a week if he's injured thanks Ed. COYI.

03 Sep 2020 21:27:29
Takehiro Tomiyasu - any truth in this link Ed's?

Iron.Al

{Ed002's Note - As previously stated there has been interest in Tomiyasu but it looks very unlikely.}

Apparently Jeremy ngakia has rejected a new deal.

Iron.Al

1.) 22 May 2020 13:14:37
I’ve seen this being reported as well.

Unfortunate as he’s a quality talent, but we don’t need any players that don’t want to play for us. If that’s his attitude, then thank him for his service and wish him the best of luck.

2.) 22 May 2020 13:34:48
It's a strange one maybe it's a ploy by his agent to try get a better deal or he's been tapped up.

I do remember talk of him being offered scholarship level wages.

Either way youd think his best option would be to stay here and fight for the RB spot it seems like both johnson and Frederick's are injury prone.

3.) 22 May 2020 13:59:21
Hes been at West Ham since he was 14 we don't want to keep him if he has decided to leave. But i do think he is a disgrace to leave WH now he has played in our 1st tean. The good news is we don't need people of his calibre and loyalty.

4.) 22 May 2020 21:07:55
I'm sick and tired of greedy little rubbishs that are led on by even greedier agents West Ham offered £5k a week that's a quarter of a million a year for a teenager or about the same as 8 corona virus Nurses get I know who I can do wothout

Jeremy just needs to remember Rees Oxford and quin a neither of which can get a first team start.

5.) 23 May 2020 08:09:50
Let’s be honest, Ngakia appears to be more than a decent talent, yet I understand why everyone appears he is greedy. If we have offered him £5k per week, surely a bonus system could be built in? A decent bonus system. Games played, goals, clean sheets, appearances accrued etc. This way everyone wins. The alternative is to call his bluff and say goodbye and sell him to someone up north. Then he’ll realise what he’s given up.

6.) 23 May 2020 08:12:48
With you all the way merceri👍👍.

7.) 24 May 2020 00:09:39
Just because the club wants to tie him down now doesn’t mean he has to. I don’t see that makes him greedy, or wanting away. If I was him and had a couple of first team games I would probably want to wait till season end and see what the clubs plans are for me. What if he signs and then we buy an international defender and he drops down to third choice and his chances of getting game time become non existent. Why rush for him?

8.) 31 May 2020 02:01:17
We are all guessing regarding wages we don't know the bottom to the top of a wage structure including bonuses, match appearances, but if it's about money at his age then we've got problems, I ain't going to guess at 18 years of age I'd be buzzing just being around the first team and playing also it's probably a greedy agent telling him we've got west ham in a corner and we will get what we want but SULLY although I don't like the way he sometimes makes our transfer targets public, but he ain't earn over £500 million from being a clown though sometimes acts like one anyway if it's about money he's played more 1st team games than OXFORD did but could end up sitting on the bench keeping it warm just like him we shall see if he's got west ham in his heart I do understand we all try and get as much money as possible but this is what's gone wrong in football agents and players demanding far to much money because they are on a big percentage but come on get your nut down for a couple of years then the money will take care of itself if he shines which I believe he has definitely got the ability but hey ho we shall see. COYI.

Sander Berge has signed for Sheffield.

Eds any news on full backs?

Any truth that we are trying to hijack crystal palaces deal for Jarrod bowen?

We seemed to have sprung to life if reports are to be believed however i fear to little to late. Wasted to much time on gedson.

Iron.Al

{Ed002's Note - I agree it is late - no preferred targets will be picked up but there is interest in Bowen. Not a great approach as you can imagine.}

1.) 31 Jan 2020 10:28:04
Cheers Ed.

11 Jan 2020 23:20:58
Gedson now likely to spurs. Think it was too good a deal not to be hijacked especially by levy very believable.

Iron.Al

1.) 12 Jan 2020 10:30:02
Was pretty obvious, I belieave he has the same agent as Mourinho and we can't compete with spurs in transfer market, think we need to be smarter and more realistic with targets to be honest.

2.) 12 Jan 2020 16:37:37
It was looking promising maybe we were just used to drum up interest. Read somewhere multiple differnt agents are working on the deal one of them being mendes who as you point out is Mourinhos agent also. We need him more than spurs maybe as negotiations go on he will decide he's more likely to get game time with us.

3.) 12 Jan 2020 22:57:36
We should be able to compete with SPURS as we have three very wealthy owners. COYI.

4.) 12 Jan 2020 23:53:38
He is going to Spurs, no chance now.

5.) 13 Jan 2020 12:45:16
Never was a chance . The lad was being touted everywhere by his agent oh and then it turns out he has multiple agents all pulling in different directions. Sounds like a mess.

Well this squad certainly needs a lift.

Very flat yesterday didn't show any real intent for large parts of the game. Very tough run of games also hopefully the team can show some guts because that yesterday was timid.

On the other hand we came close and if those go in it might have actually sparked us into life.

We need to establish if we can get tarkowski or not then move on it seems like we could be looking at 30-40m. don't think it's going to happen so move on go all out for robin gosens, takehiro tomiyasu and Brewster on loan.

Iron.Al

06 Sep 2020 13:55:16
Lots of doom and gloom at the minute. Let's be honest if Soucek and Rice were in midfield no way would have Bournemouth cut us open so easily.

Yes our full backs are poor but they had no protection at all.

Also Martin was signed as training ground keeper. Randolf and fabianski would have done better with maybe 1 or 2 of those.

Not trying to excuse the performance it was shocking but so were the tactics. 442 with Noble and lanzini in midfield always had to potential to end terribly.

Iron.Al

1.) 06 Sep 2020 16:10:21
Agree with you Iron. Al re the Martin comment, thought he was at fault with at least 2 of the goals, but he is a 3rd choice at best!

2.) 06 Sep 2020 18:58:01
He was never expected to play training GK only.

21 Jul 2020 22:55:49
Claret and hugh reporting Moyes is going to have a budget of ZERO.

So much for reshaping the squad with the RB leipzig model in mind.

If this is true sulli is a fraud and we will never progress much further than mediocrity under the current regime.

Iron.Al

{Ed002's Note - The problem is the huge losses WHU will have for this year. If players are sold there will be a little money to spend.}

1.) 22 Jul 2020 12:08:01
If we are selling Ajeti, Anderson, Balbuena, Diangana, at a minimum that should give 35-40 mill to spend as a minimum and possibly a bit more.

2.) 22 Jul 2020 20:00:09
I'm guessing a lot of clubs will be in the same position.

Cant be spending millions if there's still this uncertainty. If however, we can get rid of a few players and reinvest wisely, might be the best thing.

3.) 22 Jul 2020 21:41:27
Apparently moyes has the pair from Brentford High on his wish list. Best he moves quick cause you can guarantee leeds and wba will. move fir these players.

4.) 22 Jul 2020 21:55:46
Depends if they get promoted. i'm assuming you mean Watkins and behrama or whatever his name is.

5.) 23 Jul 2020 20:49:09
Surely they could find money from somewhere to pump into the club. Yes they would take a hit but I'd say now is an opportune time to take advantage of a market where players prices may decrease.

If they were ever serious about taking the club to the next level as they claimed they would then they should absorb the costs and take the hit from their own personal wealth.

17 Apr 2020 00:05:00
Seen a report Sullivan is concerned about the financial implications due to current health crisis and exwhuemployee stated the financial future looks bleak for the club.

After countless failed attempts of the Saudi group trying to take over Newcastle if he really cared about the club and stuck to his word he should have been on the phone trying to sell the club.

Iron.Al

{Ed002's Note - So you think it would be cool for WHU to have an owner who has been involved with significant civil rights concerns, repression of women's rights, war mongering, diplomatic issues with numerous countries, mass executions and specifically the murder of Jamal Khashoggi?}

1.) 17 Apr 2020 15:26:23
Wasnt aware of all that so taking that into consideration no. Wonder if the FA will allow them to own the club taking that into consideration.

{Ed002's Note - The Premier League have to apply the "fit and proper persons" test to Mohammed bin Salman and if he passes it then it is clear having a great deal of money trumps human rights and murder.}

2.) 17 Apr 2020 17:09:23
I thought that was clear anyway. Welcome Bin Salman.

3.) 18 Apr 2020 14:53:45
Let’s face it!
There’s very few straight football club owners, why isn’t abramovich in the country? Did he not buy his company for $1 and it’s suddenly worth 6billion the next day, sounds cocher to me!

{Ed002's Note - Nonsense. Perhaps you could try and understand matters before suggesting that there "are very few straight football club owners". Mr Abramovich was one of a number of Russian citizens whose work permits were withdrawn by te Conservative leader for no coherant reasons. He is no longer a Russian citizen and chooses to limit his visits now - although he has personally decided to make very significant donations to the NHS by offering two fully serviced hotels to be used by staff from nearby hospitals, meals, PPE and financial support. I have no idea what the dildo brothers have done - perhaps ignorant fickwits like you would do better not saying anything when they clearly have no knowledge at all.}

4.) 30 Apr 2020 09:27:34
Mohammed bin Salman is an alleged suspect in the disappearance of koshoggi and we don't want him anywhere near WEST HAM. we've enough control freaks already at the helm and bin Salman's credibility is shot to pieces. COYI.

What's your team line up for Southampton?

I'd like to see Haller up top supported by an attacking trio of Antonio, Anderson, Bowen.

Nobles and Rice in midfield and the defence the same against liverpool.

Iron.Al

1.) 29 Feb 2020 08:35:09
Iron. Al, if DM plays Haller today and he doesn’t show some fight, enthusiasm and effort, he should not even be given another chance, we have been virtually playing with 10 men when he is in the side, for a big man his effort is appalling, I can only take this as a sign he wants to go?
This is so much of a cannot afford to lose game today, we need everyone to put in maximum effort, run, chase, close the opposition down, just try not to let them settle, this a a big win situation for them as well, but we should see this home game a big advantage. Lose today and we are in the Championship, look at Norwich last night, what a great 3 points for them, they must have played their hearts out, bloody hard side to beat, well done the Canaries👍⚒⚒⚒⚒.

We would lose Souceks goals if he has to sit deeper like Rice. Really doesn't make sense why we would sell our best player with so little time to get replacements. If a mammoth bid comes in at the start of a window and you have plenty of time to reshape the squad then maybe we should consider it but not now that ship has sailed.

I seen this so him and Rice may be missing for the Newcastle game. Might end up starting the season with wilshere and Noble in midfield against the pace of st maximin and almiron won't be looking foward to that if it's TRUE.

Yes chelms streamed it through the efl site. Haller linked the play well and was given good service.

I agree with what warrington says regarding Haller it's all about the type of service we give him. If we can get players around him that's when he's going to be effective in scoring and assisting. You could see glimpses of that the start of last season when we had antonio and anderson getting close to him. Then antonio and fabianski get injured suddenly the whole team is defending deep to defend an awful keeper and he no longer gets service.

It was a very disjointed first season for him in my opinion personally I think given the right service he is quality and he should start with antonio supporting from out wide.

As for Anderson he seemed a lot more willing to actually run at defenders and use his pace. Lanzini linked well with everyone. yarmo bags of flare always looking to make something happen. Lots of positives you could make a case for a lot of them to start.

Cullen showed he has a lot to his game. Hard working, composed, good range of passing, likes a tackle, tracked back and got foward aswell. All round he looks good it's just a question if he could do that in the prem.

Suprinsly they all looked up for it, I say surprisingly as so many times in recent years we have put out teams full of players that should have something to prove wanting to fight for a place and they have really underperformed. Today was differnt they looked at It, I think you could easily drop Fornals, Noble and cresswell for the arsenal game based on what those players showed tonight, can't see Moyes ringing too many changes though.

Agree I think cress is finished and fornals would be suited better in the middle we need pace out wide!

Antonio was isolated and had to come wide or deep to get the ball I think we should stick Haller up top get Antonio and bowen to support him with anderson through the middle. Many combinations we can try in an attack sense.

Your forgetting though If rice goes we would need to get another holding midfielder aswell as fullbacks and CB. Holding midfielder is the most important positions for me.

If we are being linked with Tarkowski we must have 30-40million so I'd go with who I mentioned below Gosens and Tomiyasu. Both look solid, Tomiyasu can play CB, RB, DM.

100% no! bloke slagged off haller saying he scored more when half his goals came from the pen spot. Averages 5 goals a season from open play.
