I think we need to have someone with longevity in mind. Obviously Kretinsky thought it was a masterstroke to keep Nuno. If he couldn't see he should have been the first person out of the club before the new season then I fear his judgement is wanting, as to what we need.

Rob Edwards is just the type of manager WHU need. Whether he'd be any good in the Prem is questionable, but compared to Nuno he's Zinedine Zidane.

Rob Edward's would be a decent manager to have while we remain in the Championship. but he is not a long term option. Yeah ok, his teams do play attacking football, and he took Luton to the premier league, but he jumped ship when at Middlesbrough despite doing well, then failed miserably at Wolves, who are doing better without him.

If we let go of Nuno, I would go all out for Craig Bellamy. He would inspire the team, get fight back in to some of those players that lack it, play decent football and whilst still the Wales manager, he came close to joining Burnley in the summer. We are a much more attractive proposition than Burnley.

I think you're missing the point; it is Rob Edwards that the club are sounding out. If the rumour is to be believed, and if he's up for it, the decision on who the replacement will be has already been made.

If that is the case then it is worrying. It's about as bold as Gary Oneail. Edwards may be okay, but that's as good as it gets and not a real statement. As others have said Bellamy would be better my personal favourite would be keiron McKenna, he's not perfect, but I don't think anyone is but likes to play the right way but more importantly will utilise our decent youth team set up.

See Jadon Sancho smothering the news, firstly he's not kicked a ball for 4 months plus, far from fit, ok at his age he needs 4 more likely 6 weeks to get back to top shape

This player in form would rip it up at our level, wages at decent level no problem, he's a mile in front of Soloman and Austbo

However attitudes count for a lot There's the rub, under the right manager, he's a difference maker would he come to WH why not

Some kind of deal could be made, without long contract, he wound be firing by December time, he would get more goals than our 3 strikers put together and create chances galore, he's at Bowen level, premier player

The Areola conundrum, as you are aware contract runs out end of season there is one year option

His reduced wage is 60 k @ week, he hasn't played for some time but now back to level

WH for them pointless to let him leave on a free and then spend decent money for new gk

I've never rated Hermadson I've called him too short before but had a good view of him playing Saturday and he actually isn't short, but his arms must be.


Everyone says we are better because he is great with his feet. I just see him playing tippy tappy football with Mavro and Killman when we get a goal kick and it makes for painful watching.

After having watched him many times, Hermansen seems to have a fixed habit of pushing punching the ball straight out of without the second thought that it's evens who the ball goes too

Wheras Areola tries to push the ball out on an angle, giving a lot less chance of an easy chance at goal Should the ball fall to an opposing forward

Areola is the bigger keeper with a longer reach, for me it's time to give him a chance.

I can't see that Joyful, Kretinsky made Nuno his statement signing. And I fear we are stuck with him. People will argue what are we moaning about as we are un the top 3 scored lots of goals best goal difference. But for me it is the lack of consistency and has been said the way we start matches.

Chelsea are in the driver's seat here, and they will always have first call or any options, as this is sister club.

It does not mean WH have no chance, Chelsea may decide to let him go full stop, or maybe loan him to WH as they are in the championship.

Irrespective of the views of those of who can't see what Nuno sees about Pablo, he will continue to play him as long as he keeps seeing whatever it is in training.

Another thought, though. With neither Taty, nor Piroe pulling up trees, if we are still solidly top two for the Jan window, decent, ambitious forwards elsewhere might see a quick route to the Premiership if they come to us then.

Great result yesterday and not a bad performance, it wasn't brilliant as we rode our luck at times as they missed a couple of great chances, but we definitely need a striker in January to help us get over the line as Pablo is too slow and he should've put that chance away, our goals are coming from the wide players, midfield and defence, our strikers are not contributing at the moment.
