Alexsandro Ribero Lille is top of Nuno's January shopping list and exactly what we need. Strong, quick, technical centre back who is as good in the air as he is on the ground. Sell Tobido or swap deal would suit both parties if we use a bit of sense!

MAC brutal truth is, irregardless of whom WH bring in come January, unless we are in touch, with positions 15/17 th, we will go down

For me plenty of time is irrelevant, in the next 9 games we need at least 13 points , to keep us in touch with the teams above us, can you see it?

At this time WH have usual lists for Strikers Cbs etc, unless we start getting some points on the board, toss them on the fire, to keep warm

Once a big gap opens up, cannot be closed,

Sullivan idea of backing Nuno is two players, maybe 3, cloud cuckoo land, we are way off what’s needed

He won’t buy the players needed, and in January it’s notoriously difficult under any circumstances

I hope for the best, but best to be realistic

Oh I totally agree Joyful. The board have now admitted they made a big mistake not bringing in a striker in the summer! Too late now ain't it. Look what's happening to clubs that did very little business in the summer.

History shows if clubs don't invest properly they struggle. 9 games gone and we are already 6 points behind Burnley who we've got 8th Nov. Lose that and we are good as gone

And now the board decide to back Nuno. Its a joke of a club run by clowns and jokers

When it comes to buying players we have never really shopped at Harrods unlike the Chelsea’s and Man Us. We’ve dabbled with the odd John Lewis purchase but mainly Debenhams now the way our chairman under different managers over the last 5 years has conducted our transfer business and in our current predicament we are firmly in the 99p-shop / Cash Convertors category. God knows what fools can be persuaded to come and join us now.
Many of us said this 5 game period we are in is pivotal and having lost the first 2 of those games it looks like we are doomed……. I will always hope for a miracle but it doesn’t look good.

Good analogy, Sullivan had weeks of opportunity, did nothing, this is the result, failed to address issues that where screaming out

Thought he was smart enough to get away with this poor squad let’s see how clever he is, when we are relegated

Don’t see how we can stay up, ? beating Newcastle, don’t see that, Burnley, their nothing special at all, but they score goals, we can’t

If Nuno gets us out of this, with the players he’s got, he deserves a medal

I'd probably take Burnley squad over ours to be honest

ZIRKZEE, although WH think they are firm loan favourites, for the Man U player,

This is not the case any longer as Napoli and Roma, have now lodged their interest

Further Como and Sevilla, are shortly entering the fray

WH should be widening their search

Whats encouraging (if anything can be) is that nuno wants players lined up to come in as soon as jan window opens

The board have admitted they've made a mistake by not signing a striker in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2025 09:37:55
Made a mistake alright! Sullivan sat on his bum for 7 weeks, on his boat in Greece, whilst other clubs where busy in the window
Ignored calls from agents, made promises to Potter which he had no intention of fulfilling, and in the final week of the window, walked away from a striker and a Cb deal ( Franculino and Cresswell )

Brady made a ludicrous mistake with Potter, but Sullivan ignored his role altogether

Before we blame consecutive managers, just look at those two
That’s where the problems live

I kid you NOT
CALLUM WILSON, spoke to Nuno yesterday afternoon pre game
Puts forward, his situation, that as he's not playing on a regular basis
He may leave in January, as other clubs are interested
This is probably why he came on, when Scarles left the field
Which I thought just as odd, as our starting line up to bring on a forward for a full back?
Anyway, don't be surprised, if he does decide to make a move
He's looking for a contract, that's not pay as you play
He's not on much at WH, so he's happy to move on to play regular football

Personally I think we should move on another load with him, but who wants them

25 Oct 2025 14:50:29
Well we need to shift kilman and tobido. In two games kilman hasn't made one tackle, not one, as a centre back? That's shocking.

TOBIDO is a disaster also. Injury time decides to wrestle with the lonely Leeds forward, kicks the ball AWAY and then gets booked.

We all know he won't but, if Nuno can start different centre backs maybe igor and magassa (who can play as CB), then youth in midfield Potts, Fernandes and Fearon (drop Paqueta we can no.longer afford the sloppy play or tantrums)

Id even be tempted to.play sumerville, Guilherme and bowen together with bowen in the centre.

One thing for sure, drastic changes are needed now to save us whilst we can.

Quite clearly the 11 he starts with isn't working

Another Two players have been the subject of WH enquires , first is
Gonzalo Garcia R Madrid, bid expected from WH , trying to tie this deal up at 25 m euro, long before window time
Second is Rio Ave winger Andre Luiz, no details

TBH, unless WH can start picking up some points between now and January, they will struggle to get anybody decent in
So starting tonight We must hope, to turn things around

Apparently Barcelona are willing to let goalkeeper Ter Stegen go out on loan in January 🤷

Believable1 Unbelievable0

23 Oct 2025 15:52:35
We’ve currently got 3 keepers 2 of whom are okay and one short expensive mistake. I think we have bigger problems that need sorting,

Hammer D, hear what you’re saying but Hermansen isn’t good enough, the experience of Ter Stegen could be vital and 7 years younger than Fabianski.

23 Oct 2025 13:39:24
We all know our defence is shocking, if Tomiyasu and Reguilon are fit and still available then why not get them in even if it's just to get us to January, I know this sounds like desperation but that is exactly the position we are in, just an idea 🤷

Thats a good shout Stevie and isn’t Jason Denayer also still a free agent?

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Oct 2025 18:11:08
Dabber, yeah it’s still showing he’s on the list, we don’t want to be too far adrift come January as it’s going to be so difficult to persuade players to join, so anyone that can help us stay in touch with 17th place would be a bonus.

22 Oct 2025 19:50:18
VITOR ROQUE, interesting, he actually wants to showcase himself and wants to join a premier club where he will be a starter,

The front runners here Spurs and Chelsea won't entertain that idea

Doubtless there will be other interest in him, but WH clinging to hope, he may join

Believable0 Unbelievable0

22 Oct 2025 22:19:08
According to some accounts we won't even play Wilson because he costs a few quid every time he sets foot on the pitch! Can't see Sully forking out £20 odd million plus wages on a 20 year old who seems to have already blown his chances in Europe after only a year, with a fruitless move to Barcelona followed by a loan to Betis culminating with a rapid return to Brazil.

WH are going to struggle getting in anyone decent full stop

Ask yourself, unless it was for a last hurrah, by an over the hill player or a player who wants a 5 month shop window, who would want to sign for WH?

That’s the problem, their going to face shortly

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Oct 2025 11:35:03
Is he a number 9 because Man U haven’t had a proper front man recently
They had Sesco for one game and I think they used mount as a number 9 against Liverpool

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Oct 2025 12:27:25
Joyfull, clubs will also know we are desperate and ask top dollar for a player if it was a purchase and not a loan, also the players themselves are going to ask for big wages, we should go and get Ivan Toney on loan and pay his wages, we would stand at least a chance of staying up as the cost of relegation would be a lot more.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Oct 2025 13:43:18
There is no way we are going to sign anyone of that ilk we needed a striker for about 5 years and ended up with callum Wilson on a free lol, even they by some miracle did have any sort of bid accepted he wouldn't cone anyway

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Oct 2025 17:10:51
That’s the problem Stevie, as seconded by Robbo, if a quality player, can find a perch other than WH, that’s what’s going to happen

If Sullivan thinks 3 players are going to shoot WH up the table he’s dreaming WH have problems throughout the team, 3 players will help but not solve the
issues
Last year 8 players left in ONE WEEK, that alone was never sorted out, Instead of going flat out 2/3. Weeks before window opened, to get people in, Sullivan ignored two lists of players from Macauley over 30 people contained therein

Sat on his backside for 7 weeks 4 days, before he made first call, is that the way to run a club?

He alone has got us where we are, as much as NUNO made ludicrous decisions on Monday selection wise, he cannot put out players we don’t have

There’s another 12 games before window opens we have 4 points, you just cannot catch up without goalscorers

Sullivan committed for me a criminal offence, complete dereliction of his duty as chief share holder, to wave away the clubs need for two strikers and pacey people in the middle, as well as two proper CBS, yes 6 players were needed and still are!

Todibo Irvine Rodriguez, what on earth are these people doing at WH?
All he’s looking for is Cheap Cheap Cheap, well this is what it leads to

RELEGATION! When Sullivans personal losses hit 200 m, let’s not have crocodile tears, it’s all down to him alone

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Oct 2025 18:04:25
I agree blame the board all you like as they are mostly the reason for us being where we are. But, to have a striker who is fit and not being him on is scandalous, also in my 60+ years of being able to understand football I have never seen a team play with inverted fullbacks. WTH was all that about. If we had played AWB and Diouf with Potts and Wilson up top we stood a chance against Brentford. There is not one supporter out there that would have started the game with that team selection. Guys on drugs or something

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Oct 2025 18:43:12
Totally agree, Nuno must have been drunk with that selection, I would be delighted to be wrong, but I don’t see an answer, with the players we currently have, I think we are the poorest team in the league by a stretch, Nuno has a job beyond massive

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Oct 2025 06:58:52
Best chance we have of players in January is with it being a World Cup year, players who hope to go but aren't playing will be looking for their own personal shop window to push for selection.

We HAVE to leverage that position to find some talented and motivated players on loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Oct 2025 10:53:56
Talented and Motivated players and Sullivan, these words just don’t mix
Sullivan has inflicted massive damage to his own club
His Inertia, miserly ways, cheap projects, have led us down to the bottom of the barrel
He’s suddenly on the phone, to every agent and associate, he can think of, trying to get deals done for January
He’s awake now all right, for me personally, it’s too late, there’s too many games between now and January
Realistic maths tell you we need minimum 20 points at end of December
To go into final 18 games, to get out of trouble
Where do you see 16 points coming from? In the next 12 games? Who are we going to beat?
Sometimes so much damage is caused, you cannot put it right
Sullivan is still thinking 2 players, maybe 3 can change us into a competitive squad, do you think so? Sorry I don’t

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Oct 2025 10:08:51
WH have made enquiries re PANCHINELLI winger Strasbourg, certainly a worthwhile purchase

However one must ask do WH ever learn anything at all?

Sister club to Chelsea, who will ALWAYS have first call on Strasbourg players

WH wasted a load of time on Kroupi then of Orleans, sister club to Bournemouth, naturally they took him, now he's playing and Scoring for Bournemouth

STOP wasting effort WH, if PANCHINELLI is good, he will go into Chelsea's bomb squad, end of story

He will only go elsewhere if Chelsea don't want him, that's where we are

Couldn’t agree more, pathetic performance, Sullivan is getting what he deserves, unfortunately, the fans don’t deserve this at all

21 Oct 2025 15:28:24
Nope, we don't, but, its now being realised by all and sundry that Sullivan has got us in the rubbish. Yes nuno made bone head choices last night but make no mistake, this mess all lays at the feet of one person! I also blame the other board members especially KREZYNSKI for allowing this rubbish show to get this far
