It seems we are in for a Colombian striker called Jhon Arias. Says on C&H signing imminent and should sign for around £11 Million in the next few days.
It seems slightly different to the usual rumour this seems more certain

This kid Jhon Arias is some player. Very very highly rated Colombian. The team next season will have a very exciting look to it if this continues
2.) 15 Jun 2024 09:05:57
A right footer too, which makes a change.
31 Jan 2024 20:39:05
Not sure if this is common knowledge but just seen that Liverpool are considering moving in for Tim Steidten as their head of recruitment.
If true it is very worrying

Discussed below.

They've agreed a deal with XABI ALONSO tot ake over at the end of the season when KLOPP goes so guess who is next on the hit list especially as the DIRECTOR of FOOTBALL is also leaving? If our let lose him because of our sheer incompetence during transfer windows, then am done with these clowns
3.) 01 Feb 2024 07:50:36
I get what you mean Daisy, it's incredible. What do we reckon Paqueta has the same mysterious long term calf injury that cornet had. All these poor signings who moyes wanted!
4.) 01 Feb 2024 11:44:56
Cheers Tinny I didn’t notice that ?
5.) 01 Feb 2024 12:14:37
No problem. We’re all guilty of missing stuff. ??

Not quite sure how we are losing this. We should be at least3.1 up .
1.) 03 Dec 2024 22:08:58
I was quite vociferous about giving Lop a chance earlier in the season but it's clear now that he can't get a consistent tune out of the squad. Oh, now it IS 3-0. Can't see any way back for him now. Sacked in the morning and Moyes back by Thursday lol!

Just wondered if anyone would consider Lee Carsley as a potential new coach?
I'm not sure I have an opinion either way as it is very difficult to assess his pros and cons from the 6 matches I in charge for England. But he does seem to want to play progressive football.
Just putting it out there
1.) 20 Nov 2024 08:05:28
I think the lack of anyone replying to this in the last 48 hours sort of says it all.
Whilst I do think you are right, he does appear to like progressive football, I think his lack of any real club management outside of caretaker positions rules his out altogether.
I do like his willingness to give youth a chance though.
{Ed001's Note - it is the international break, the sites are always quieter during this period, so that might be why there is no replies before you.}
2.) 20 Nov 2024 18:26:50
As I say DIE-4 just wondered what people thought. You are right the club and country management thing is completely different and with our esteemed chairman only wanting someone with premier league experience the options are slightly limiting. But do think an insistence on trying to bring youth through is of major importance as most of the successful sides have done it to a degree and it saves a lot of money. The last two muppets have said they would do it but failed to do so.
3.) 20 Nov 2024 21:40:38
Why not, he must be better than what we currently have.
09 Nov 2024 17:58:01
Absolutely dire! The players body language is seriously bad. Some reasonably decent players look devoid of any confidence or knowledge of what they are supposed to be doing. I have reluctantly joined the JLo out brigade

Does anybody know if Zouma passed his medical in the Middle East?
I hope he has done but if he did then I will be giving that doctor a body swerve
20 Jun 2024 21:13:44
Watching that dreadful England performance today, I thought I was back at the London stadium last season. obviously Moyes-ball has become populat5
1.) 21 Jun 2024 06:56:29
Not sure I totally agree with that Hammer-D. We showed no attempt play on the counter. Just seemed to content to pass it between ourselves at the back and then give the ball to Denmark to have another attempt. Hahaha

I can not see anyway David will come to West Ham as he is probably running his contract down so he can get a dream move in the summer. I’m very surprised that Angel Gomez is seriously interested in coming to us and wouldn’t mind betting it is another ploy by Sullivan to appear that he is actually serious about buying the player yet by leaking it, it alerts other teams in a better position than us, to his availability. Hopefully I’m just cynical and that we do end up landing AG

I didn’t go to the Fulham or Palace games so maybe difficult to comment. I did see the Villa game and it was, IMHO a breath of fresh air to what we have seen over the last couple of years. As you say things changed when Summerville had to go off, but we did also show some guile after we went 2.1 down. Managers have so many different facets and there are always going to be things we like or dislike. Potters positives are numerous as he seems to create a good harmony and team spirit around the players which is so important. He seems very organised and understandable and relatable. Giving Scarles his debut was absolutely brilliant and hopefully he gives many more of our youngsters the chance.
His downsides from what other fans from other clubs have said are, he is too defensive and he continually tinkers with the line up and set up. I do not understand why Scarles was dropped after such a brilliant debut and Soler being dropped yesterday were completely wrong imo. And even though it sounds like we were far better organised, yesterday and Tuesday we did still concede twice, but we had no shots on target! Obviously the poor guy has joined mid season and didn’t have the benefit of pre-season matches and has inherited a bit of a s@@t show so he does need to be given plenty of time. Even as poor as we must have been yesterday I personally don’t see us being relegated simply because of new players and simple maths I think our current points total gives us enough buffer.
I just hope that when players return and his players are brought in he uses the villa game as the blueprint for how we will try to play. Because if we are just set up not to loose, then we will be back to square one from when Moyes was in charge.

I’ve just read on C&H we are looking at a potential loan move for Callum Wilson. It just seems too early for an April fool joke but with Sully in charge of transfers who knows!
15 Jan 2025 17:22:33
The bench is hardly any different to what it was last season on numerous occasions under Moyes. I’m not saying that is good, it isn’t, but it isn’t a new thing and we did have at least 5 players out injured yesterday
14 Jan 2025 15:32:51
? sorry Brooking I had to laugh at that.
Although Dab I think we may have contravened the websites policy as technically sarcastic and funny comments should only be made on the Banter page.
16 Jan 2025 14:09:10
I think you are right as Ipswich have something about them. The Moyes appointment, I have never seen a more like for like appointment. What was Einstein said about repeating the same experiment over and over again expecting something to change
16 Jan 2025 12:45:21
I think so
16 Jan 2025 12:45:00
Totally agree! I have taken a peek at this website but the Everton version it’s quite interesting to see what their supporters are saying. there's a lot of realism about who Moyes is but I have seen a few who have slagged off Dyche as he only plays one up front whilst a lot of the rest of the team are playing really deep!
What does he think he is going to get from DM. Unless the man has had an epiphany. I somehow doubt it
14 Jan 2025 19:25:56
Obviously made worse by 4 major injuries
12 Jan 2025 20:51:13
Gideon Kodua played in the very first games of the pre season in Austria. He was a bit of a headless chicken and I wasn’t sure what position he supposed to be playing but he seemed to have boundless energy and if coached right could be a really decent player. As you say Potts has become a fans favourite at Pompy and sounds like the sort of player required in MF
