Not sure if this is common knowledge but just seen that Liverpool are considering moving in for Tim Steidten as their head of recruitment.
If true it is very worrying

They've agreed a deal with XABI ALONSO tot ake over at the end of the season when KLOPP goes so guess who is next on the hit list especially as the DIRECTOR of FOOTBALL is also leaving? If our let lose him because of our sheer incompetence during transfer windows, then am done with these clowns

I get what you mean Daisy, it's incredible. What do we reckon Paqueta has the same mysterious long term calf injury that cornet had. All these poor signings who moyes wanted!

Regarding Borja I agree with Billy. I think he is totally overrated. The other week Chelsea scored 5 or 6 goals in one match. He was playing as centre forward from the start of the match, and didn’t score one or even an assist.
I think he would also be a total Moyes type player and one small hope is that we didn’t go for him because hopefully at the end of the season we may be a Moyes-less zone ?

Spot on Whorya.
Now that we are buying a lot of new players I am bemused that people are quick to want to get rid of players, who generally did pretty well last year but have started this year poorly. Getting rid of these players would leave us with a small and poor squad. The big issue is we need a good size and quality bench. If we were just going to react to this season so far then Bowen would be first out the door as he has been poor.

Surely this can’t be true. This sounds like Moyes and the board somehow trying to save face in saying they won’t bow to pressure from the fans and they have secretly asked him to leave at the end of the season but he will walk and make it seem it was his own choice. Just a massive PR EXERCISE.
Because if they offered him a new contract even if only for a year, why on earth would he not sign it? Because once that is signed and we carry on losing they would have to pay another season’s compensation.
Mind you we do have a chairman who makes Arthur Daley and Del Trotter look like reputable businessmen ?

I think much of Brightons success is multi faceted. As their recruitment strategy has been brilliant, finding numerous absolute gems for next to nothing ang moving them on at big prices, with new players coming to replace them. I think De Zerbi has taken them on to the next level. I don’t know much about Potter but a mate of mine is a Chelsea fan, his criticism of Potter was when things weren’t going right he had no plan B. Just take off a player and replace him with like for like rather than change the style or formation. Which is worryingly familiar. But who knows he must be an improvement on what we have….

Knowing our luck and our board. They will announce that David Moyes has gone to Palace and we can announce our new manager………. Roy Hodgson ?

Do you think there is any possibility Simon Jordan would like to take Moyes as Crystal Palace are in the mire and he has always praised him
We can only dream

I personally think Kieran MacKenna has done a far better job at Ipswich than Carrick has at Boro.
