Ex WHU employee recons we have been offered Ryan Brewster on loan he scored 1 in 2 at Swansea last year.

1.) 12 Sep 2020 15:56:15
We'd be a bit silly not to have a good hard look at Rhian Brewster. 10 goals in 20 league games last season for Swansea (which is what I assume you meant to type but yer 0 fell off) albeit in the Championship isn't a bad return for then 19yo. I'd much rather him than Fernando bloody Llorente that's for sure!

2.) 12 Sep 2020 18:18:27
Any chance of a loan with an option to buy?

3.) 12 Sep 2020 18:55:38
Take him with or without an option to buy! Offers something differnt to both haller and Antonio.

05 Sep 2020 20:10:47
Daily Express reporting Anderson may go to Liverpool on loan for £5 million.

1.) 06 Sep 2020 00:52:15
Be good if it could happen. Wonder if they’d like Haller as well?

2.) 06 Sep 2020 08:31:48
And who’s going to play upfront mark?

3.) 06 Sep 2020 09:44:27
TBH I don’t think it matters as they’ll run and shoot more than Haller!

4.) 06 Sep 2020 16:51:25

5.) 06 Sep 2020 16:53:34
Its clear to me and iy breaks my heart to say it we are going down. I said it last year and was only just wrong we need defenders or were down.

6.) 06 Sep 2020 18:51:38
Yes and we will bring in those players moyes ain’t an idiot he know where we are lacking quality LB RB CB and a striker if we can shift 2/ 3 more will make life easier of we can off load musuka plus Wiltshire and one other brilliant let’s have a balanced squad for me the third player had to be between lanzini / Anderson decisions need to be made who is going to support haller playing lanzina Anderson out wide doesn’t work the both feel the need to cut inside narrowing out attack it becomes 1 against 2/ 3 it breaks down we are them under pressure per defect example Antonio on the right causes problems a 2 player drop in to help the defender out creating space for striker n support it’s when we lose the ball we have to many players out of position.

7.) 06 Sep 2020 20:07:53
With the best will in the world we aren't hoing to get a quality lb/ rb/ cb and striker for 18 million if we make one signing it will be a bonus, no doubt a loan probably after rice leaves.

8.) 06 Sep 2020 20:13:18
Id like us to get another battering ram like antonio such as marega. Big powerful and strong to bully defenders and let midfield join up with play.

9.) 06 Sep 2020 20:15:24
Mark a good striker with quality service 3 shots 2 goal I’m not interested in how much running he does.

10.) 06 Sep 2020 20:25:44
No we have to juggle.

11.) 06 Sep 2020 20:50:50
Not sure there's much room to juggle with some of the ridiculous salaries we pay.

12.) 06 Sep 2020 23:19:37
Yes part of the problem.

13.) 06 Sep 2020 23:37:18
Robbo what’s how our transfer kitty? becuse know one seems to no.

14.) 07 Sep 2020 02:36:05
Ed002 said a couple of weeks ago money was very tight, can't see how selling diangana has improved things that much, considering we need a LB and RB and Robinson, cash and now it looks like Jamal Lewis have all gone for not massive fees but we have been no where near any of them i'm guessing there is next to nothing in the pot, so I guess loans are our best hope of improving squad no idea who would be avliable there, Chelsea might have 1 or 2 decent options, ED will have the best idea though I know they but up a big list of possibles a week or so ago.

{Ed002's Note - The problem with loans in the Premier League is that clubs can only register:
- Two players on loan at any one time.
- Four players over the season in total (so changing the two in January)
- No more than one from any one club.

Chelsea have a host of players that are available for sale - and some of the younger ones for loan. They do have a couple of very good young full backs in Dujon Sterling and Juan Familia-Castillo who are available to loan.}

15.) 07 Sep 2020 10:19:10
Brill thanks ED!

16.) 07 Sep 2020 17:31:41
On the HALLER topic he ain't a big bruiser that's going to knock people about and in a friendly its about getting sharpness and match fitness not emptying yourself and getting injured, its well documented that i think HALLER is top class and given the right service can prove as big a hit as TEVEZ IMO. COYI.

17.) 08 Sep 2020 07:01:20
Robbo point I was making by juggling w1 Ed’s said money was tight in no way was suggesting that we was going tobring in 3/ 4 players for 18 million.

03 Sep 2020 16:15:27
So so far of our possible targets Duffy has gone to Scotland Matty Cash to Villa and Eze to Palace and it looks like Watkins going to Villa as well

Having lost Diangana I can't honestly see a big improvement on the te that finished the last season, still I guess we might see a few of u23s coming through.

{Ed002's Note - Things will happen.}

1.) 03 Sep 2020 17:56:42
Merc, how frustrated and disappointed does this make us all? Some may think of us as a big club, I don’t personally, well known yes, but we must be appalling run, to be outgunned on transfers by most other clubs is unforgivable considering the time we have been of Premiership status! You can’t blame any one person, but to have given MP such freedom without any come back on him was madness Imo! The board have got a lot to be thankful For in DM, not the best record as a Manager, but saved our club again, I really hope he does well with his begging bucket and cheap loan deals! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

2.) 03 Sep 2020 18:07:15
Ed is like the oracle, if he says things will happen then I believe things will happen, it’s hard to be patient, because things are confusing at the minute I personally wouldn’t sell Grady but if there’s no other interest at the moment that’s concrete then what can u do. In Ed we trust lol 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.

3.) 03 Sep 2020 18:52:00
I'm with you Chelmsford.

4.) 03 Sep 2020 18:54:50
I don't think we are outgunned Chelms Haller our record signing has only been topped by Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs, i think our biggest problem is what we spend on we have bought players that have massively underperformed and sold them on for much less than we paid to get rid of ludicrous wages we pay to attract them in the first place, i'm sure this is why we are struggling now.

5.) 03 Sep 2020 19:05:38
Yeah so disappointing we get so called good players who turn out to be not so good or played in wrong positions. We need defenders that can defend first and foremost as cresswell, matsuaku and fredericks are not up to the standard needed for the Premier league.

6.) 03 Sep 2020 21:17:45
I think having a director of football long term would make a big difference. We always seem to have an imbalanced squad managers come and go and never get long enough to implement the changes.

I think we have to remember aswell that we didn't have a full season with Soucek and Bowen who both look solid. We got cut open so many times so easily under Pellegrini much to his kamamazee tactics and lack of legs in midfield soucek is perfect in there just need better full backs as everyone already seems to know.

Unfortunately us having to many wingers has lead to us having to sell Diangana strangely though we are being linked to benrahma rather than defensive options. Unless Moyes fancys benrahma to play centrally.

15 Aug 2020 08:56:30
Lots of rumpus appearing again about John Stones on Moyes wish list personally think he would be a good acquisition my only worries bit prone to Injury and makes the odd clanger what do you guys think.

1.) 15 Aug 2020 09:58:57
Morning, I also think Stones would be a good signing, but who would you drop, not unless Moyes is thinking of 3 at the back?

2.) 15 Aug 2020 14:52:55
He can play at right back, too. We know that Johnson can cover both sides.

3.) 15 Aug 2020 19:42:01
yes i like him if we can find some money to buy him.

4.) 16 Aug 2020 01:14:50
He’d be a cracking buy. 3 at the back makes sense, and when ones injured me revert to 442.

5.) 16 Aug 2020 13:03:07
His wage demands would be way outside our salary structure. Manchester City players are so tough to sign due to their ludicrous contracts given to them. He’s probably on north of 150k per week. We can not afford to be giving out a contract like that during this time, as well as paying a large transfer fee in £20m.

Completely unrealistic. Duffy would be much more realistic, I’d personally be quite happy if we signed him. Stones is also horrible at RB. Why buy a player like that and then play him out of position?

Our best bit of business this window will be the permanent signing of Soucek and IF we can manage to hold onto Declan.

6.) 16 Aug 2020 13:50:53
TK, I rate Duffy and Dunk as well👍👍Be quite happy with either👍👍⚒⚒.

7.) 16 Aug 2020 15:42:17
We'd never get Dunk, aren't Chelsea in for him? Duffy will end up at Celtic I reckon.

8.) 16 Aug 2020 18:13:11
I also heard Phil jones is being looked at.

9.) 17 Aug 2020 16:56:14
Seems diop in his way to first bidder for £45m so clearly if we could get a free agent cb it might give moyes some cash to play with.

22 Jul 2020 20:34:49
Rumour Haller wanted by Monaco £38million been rumoured I'd let him go what does everyone else think.

1.) 22 Jul 2020 21:08:45
If we’re not going to play to Hallers strength, i e two up top then maybe sell and put money towards a decent number 9.

2.) 22 Jul 2020 21:19:27
Snap their hands off👍👍⚒⚒.

3.) 22 Jul 2020 21:25:37
Take it in a heart beat and go get ollie watkins.

4.) 22 Jul 2020 21:48:16
No, no and no (if you weren’t sure. )

The guy is class and will be our top scorer next season.

5.) 22 Jul 2020 22:14:12
Taxi for Haller.

6.) 22 Jul 2020 22:24:10
I would keep him, we won’t be able to replace him and I think he has the ability, Motes just needs to bring it out on the pitch. Having seen what he can do all we are saying if we sell is the manager isn’t capable of getting him to perform.

7.) 23 Jul 2020 07:08:19
Sorry guys but i havnt seen anything from Haller to say he's a WH centre forward.
Look at Antonio 7-8 mil from Nottingham Forrest
Look in the basement and buy players that are hungry to play in the Premiership not players that are overpriced and overpaid.
Ask yourself is Haller worth 8 times Antonio. On top of that he gets 100k aweek salary. My guess we have over 80mil+ sitting on our subs bench
If another club wants Haller let him go.

8.) 24 Jul 2020 21:51:34
Have you been drinking MAC3 let's sell a proven goalscorer for a championship player i cannot believe people doubting HALLER do they think every single big money signing automatically will 1.settle.2.Bang in 25 goals a season.3.
Family settle.4.Gel with teamates. i truly understand they get paid vast amounts of money and that's their job but come on look at how many players have taken a season to get going and become very very good signings and I've noticed a lot of championship players being mentioned and because its ENGLISH football the difference between the PREMIER LEAGUE and championship is vast but its all about opinions and we all have them and that's mines. COYI.

30 Sep 2020 21:47:48
Haller Yarmalenko Anderson Lanzini half a million a week you're aving a larf.

1.) 30 Sep 2020 22:02:40
Think Yamalenko is good for a goal. We need to off the rest.

2.) 30 Sep 2020 22:16:06
We concedec4 goals, not sure the forwards are to blame for that.

3.) 01 Oct 2020 09:01:38
What you get for a weak, makeshift back 4.

4.) 01 Oct 2020 12:09:30
Rice ain't no centre back, whatever he thinks.

28 Sep 2020 16:17:02
Bummer winning 4 0 last night my

nephew had 3 1 and Bowen to score first at 100 to 1.

1.) 29 Sep 2020 11:23:07
mercerl, would have been nice👍 but might have done him a favour unless he’s already on that slippery down hill slope of gambling🤭Can be a bit of fun to start with until you put bigger stakes on then lose, then try to recover losses, especially if he’s relatively young which I assume he is👎👎.

2.) 29 Sep 2020 11:59:56
Bloody hell Chelms, he probably only put a quid on for a bit of fun, you make it sound like he just bet his car, house and Mrs on the match

A few pints with you would have anyone thinking what's the point of it all! . :) :) :) . only teasing.

3.) 29 Sep 2020 15:23:16
😂🤣Warrington you never know mate🤭you see and hear so much of addictive gambling now, also a lot with the younger generation, but I must have been born old and cautious😂🤣 On the serious side I do know somebody that has a serious gambling habit, but they have had some big, big wins as well🤔🤭I have a gambling habit myself, £3 each week on the Lottery😂🤣, but I don’t think I need to go to Gamblers Anonymous any time soon🤔🤭.

4.) 29 Sep 2020 15:47:44
Not just me wastingly weekly money on the lottery, then. Good to know there are other silly daydreamers out there.

5.) 29 Sep 2020 16:44:07
Markro, you never know although we do really😂To be honest I only do it to set my family up Of 2 lovely daughters and 6 grandchildren if I could. Not much good for me now mate at 76, have a House and mostly all we need, fortunately👍 Not got loadsamoney but enough pensions to get by on👍👍⚒⚒⚒⚒.

6.) 30 Sep 2020 10:16:54
Talking of gambling, my daughter used to go Bingo regularly, when she was young she always used to find money on the floor, well the first win at Bingo she won £100, the following week £300,she would regularly win £100, she has won £1,000 on three different occasions, and a couple years ago she won the link of £14,000

The thing is she always forgets to put the lottery on, I often reminder but she always forgets, if she did the odds are I would be sitting in this poxy office with a poxy mask on 5 hours a day lol lol.

19 Sep 2020 22:12:56
I would have left Bowen on he was getting back and defending and agree with everyone what was the point of Haller and Anderson coming on when they did

Thought Arthur did we tonight as well positive performance but we do let attackers walk through the defence.

19 Sep 2020 14:54:38
Mr. Gold Mr Sullivan, Ms. Brady that goal today by Diangana is th reason you don't sell young promising players and if you can't see your mistake then IMO you should open your eyes.

1.) 19 Sep 2020 20:44:00
and get out of the game of football.

15 Sep 2020 21:37:29
Not sure what to make of that win against Charlton only managed to listen on Talksport so can't say who was making the effort

Does it say that Haller can do it against lower league games but isn't good enough for the PL and did Anderson manage to get balls in and what of our youngsters Cullen seems to be doing OK but nobody else getting a look on.

1.) 15 Sep 2020 22:58:46
Cullen showed he has a lot to his game. Hard working, composed, good range of passing, likes a tackle, tracked back and got foward aswell. All round he looks good it's just a question if he could do that in the prem.

Suprinsly they all looked up for it, I say surprisingly as so many times in recent years we have put out teams full of players that should have something to prove wanting to fight for a place and they have really underperformed. Today was differnt they looked at It, I think you could easily drop Fornals, Noble and cresswell for the arsenal game based on what those players showed tonight, can't see Moyes ringing too many changes though.

2.) 16 Sep 2020 07:29:21
Iron. Al, did you get the game streaming from the Carabao Cup Website? Thanks for the game info, I’m a big Haller critic but will be delighted to be converted, did he actually break sweat and work for his goals, also Anderson did he contribute apart from his goal? Know very little of Cullen so good to hear you rated him last night👍 Arsenal game will be a real tester against a top side! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

3.) 16 Sep 2020 10:13:38
Morning Guys

Merceri. I have to totally disagree with the comment on Haller, this guy is intelligent skilful holds the ball well and has plenty of ways to score in his locker, what he is not getting is a continuous place in the side or service to convert when he is on the field.

His a goal scorer striker not a AM mid that picks the ball up in dribbles and shoots, i'm hoping Moyes will give him a decent run in the side, but not as a lone striker, which I think he is being judged on here, he needs support.

If he gets that and still fails to convert chances than fair enough, I think its a little unfair to judge him the way Moyes sets up now

Moyes for me over thinks so many things in the way we play, it seems he looks at the opposition and thinks how do we stop them scoring, rather than play to our best personnel in their correct positions and let the opposition worry about us for a change.

If we sit back and defend from the outset against Arsenal ( which I feel we will), with 1 up top, than Arsenal will score and than he will juggle with the team to try get a goal back, I just wish for once play offensive but be balanced in defence, not just wait for the onslaught and break away. Obviously most will disagree but that's how I see it.

4.) 16 Sep 2020 14:05:59
Hi Warrington, I agree that we don’t really start playing until we go a goal down, I really wish we would attack from the first whistle, we need pace in the side, as I’ve said before pace frightens defenders.

5.) 16 Sep 2020 18:36:42
Yes chelms streamed it through the efl site. Haller linked the play well and was given good service.

I agree with what warrington says regarding Haller it's all about the type of service we give him. If we can get players around him that's when he's going to be effective in scoring and assisting. You could see glimpses of that the start of last season when we had antonio and anderson getting close to him. Then antonio and fabianski get injured suddenly the whole team is defending deep to defend an awful keeper and he no longer gets service.

It was a very disjointed first season for him in my opinion personally I think given the right service he is quality and he should start with antonio supporting from out wide.

As for Anderson he seemed a lot more willing to actually run at defenders and use his pace. Lanzini linked well with everyone. yarmo bags of flare always looking to make something happen. Lots of positives you could make a case for a lot of them to start.

6.) 16 Sep 2020 18:40:36
I'm sorry but I don't want to branded as confrontational but on the HALLER topic a non football watcher can see the guy is top class and a level above ANTONIO IMO not that I don't like ANTONIO but HALLER has that touch and finesse which he hasn't but I think they could play together and would scare any defence IMO . COYI.

7.) 16 Sep 2020 19:50:50
Sooner or later, I’m going to get tired of posting:

If Haller starts 30 PL games, he will score at least 15.

8.) 16 Sep 2020 23:33:15
Markro I'm with you. Have watched him in the Bundesliga and he has the ability, we need to create opportunities.

West Ham must keep players like Declan

Over 100 games played virtually injury free and a regular England International where do you get that every day

Reminds me of the way we lost RIO 30 years ago.

If it's a choice between Anderson and Diangana the Brazilian wouldn't get a look in as far as I'm concerned.
