Patrick Schick, Czech International Striker currently playing for Bayer Leverkusen is reported by Daily Star to be on WHU shopping list currently this season has 26 goals in 13 appearances

1.) 29 Dec 2021 11:48:31
Sorry this 16 not 26 still impressive though

2.) 29 Dec 2021 14:13:33
Though 36 would have sounded even better.

3.) 31 Dec 2021 16:09:21
yes let's see his Schtick in claret-and-blue

{Ed002's Note - Patrik Schick (S) Bayer Leverkusen do not wish to sell but know the interest of Manchester City, Spurs, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus could see the price rise significantly. Interestlingly, whilst all have a declared interest, none have him as their first choice. West Ham and Manchester United have both sent scouts to watch him although seem unlikely destinations.}

4.) 04 Jan 2022 17:34:58
I’d rather have Hlozek.

26 Nov 2021 15:24:22
According to football London and documents listed lodged at companies House Daniel Kratinsky has agreed to hi David Sullivan's shares and Sullyy has agreed to sell them at an agreed price irrelevance vent of where WHU finish this season. ed002 have you any further info on this you're allways so good with the facts

{Ed002's Note - I am aware that there are options for Kretinsky and Sullivan at a fixed price and other shareholders could do the same but nothing is likely to happen before 2023 as part of an existing agreement that would cost the owners a fair whack in terms of penalties. Note that recently West Ham added Jack Sullivan as a director.}

1.) 26 Nov 2021 18:21:18
Thanks ed I assume the 2023 timeline is about the stadium deal

{Ed002's Note - Exactly.}

Football Insider reporting West ham trying to sign Winston McKenzie from Juve. Eds any clarification on this.

{Ed002's Note - Weston McKennie (CM) Fiorentina would like to take the player and Juventus are looking to add a leading CM and need to raise funds and offload, ideally Ramsey and Arthur - but an option would be to sell Weston McKennie to Bayern Munich who are cash rich and have shown an interest - although it seems to be waning. A representative of Juventus was in London for talks with Chelsea (this was only last week) and was asked to meet with West Ham who have declared an interest. I am not so sure the player would be interested. Juventus will keep him if they cannot raise €30M from a sale.

1.) 29 Sep 2021 20:03:11
Thanks Ed brilliant info as usual.

2.) 29 Sep 2021 22:58:28
Very helpful. Thx.

Evening Standard showing picture of Anderson wearing a Lazio scarf.

Saying £4million plus 50% of sell. On fee. Dad never made potential just like Haller.

1.) 15 Jul 2021 13:12:38
who’s Dad was that merceri. 🤣🤣⚒⚒⚒.

2.) 15 Jul 2021 22:18:51
Please don’t take that any father.

3.) 15 Jul 2021 22:53:51
We could be signing his dad as we do like older players🤣🤣🤣.

Rumours about West Ham offering s bid for Yarumchuk Ukrainian international playing for Gent. He's a striker with s 1 goal in 3 games across his career and better than 1 every 2 this and last season was out for 3 months with Ankle ligament injury and you do wonder if that would be a weakness. Wasn't that Andy Carroll's problem.

1.) 08 Jul 2021 07:41:12
He looked tidy at this Euros.

Good result today but we were given the freedom to attack. With Noble sitting in front of the back 4 it gave Soucek the ability to move forward. Benrhama better today but of course we lose him for a month due to African Nation Cup. Diop still worrying noticed virtually all his clearances were being picked up by Watford

Bowen outstanding again and Deffinately MOTM VAR was good today but as usual it's the inconsistencies thinking back to the Fpul on DAWSON and today how far Are they going back

1.) 28 Dec 2021 18:55:39
I am a massive rice fan but it just shows how much souchek’s game is held back when he has to play the sitting role alongside rice, I know rice wants to go forward as an AMF but he doesn’t get the goals souchek does when he plays the role plus rice is more a natural DM.

Bowen was off the scale and I’ve said it for a while but it is just as important we keep him as much as rice. As var being good, I’m not sure that’s the case at all but each to their own I guess.

Dawson and diop combo I don’t like, diop makes me nervous, Dawson is good but he’s just slow. Ref was poor in my opinion on decisions for both sides. Three points though, hope this is us back on track now.

COYI ⚒⚒⚒

2.) 29 Dec 2021 14:11:54
Spot on with the Rice/Soucek points.

Rice has looked outstanding pushing forward and showcasing his improved all round game, but that said, it hasn’t resulted in goals.

Moyes must ask Rice to resume his CDM role. Those occasional second half lung busting runs, when the opposition is tiring are fine. But for Soucek to score as freely as last year, he simply needs to spend more of the game further forward, rather than staying back covering Rice.

3.) 29 Dec 2021 14:52:17
Possibly Rice wanted to be able to go forward and Moyes wants to keep him happy? Whatever the reason I think it’s clear Soucek is more likely to score when given freedom to get forward.

4.) 29 Dec 2021 16:11:49
Agreed on all of the above Regarding Rice! Maybe he is becoming to big for the club if that makes sense, it can make other team members disgruntled imo if all everybody talks about is Rice, he’s part of a team, no more!

Against Watford after about 15 mins when we settled, I just could not see us losing, it showed that there will be a decent WH even without Rice providing the money is reinvested!

Watched the game live, but appreciated it more watching the highlights. Bowen absolutely outstanding, best I have seen him play although never stops running in every game.

Odd criticisms but bloody hell 4-1 win away albeit Watford, I would consider it as harsh to criticise, even Salam missed a Penalty??⚒⚒⚒⚒

5.) 29 Dec 2021 19:53:19
Sorry meant Salah⚒⚒⚒

6.) 30 Dec 2021 12:59:15
I'm happy with either one of soucek or Rice bombing on. On the face of it you'd think rice was going forward more as he has more assists but soucek is still getting forward I just don't think its as noticed because he isn't carrying the ball when he does plus he's had 2 or 3 goals disallowed through marginal var calls if he gets those goals we probably wouldn't be having the discussion.

I do think they are fairly balanced which has served us very well so far.

Playing a 433 or a 4141 with noble sitting behind rice and soucek could be interesting allowing both of them getting forward more often.

Agree Chelms regarding Bowen it was a complete performance said the same myself after the game that it was his best performance for us. If he performs to that level every week we can definitely continue to fight in that top 6.

A good January window could secure it and if we hit form at the right time we will be contenders in europa.

27 Dec 2021 09:17:34
So another poor result yesterday although I know refereeing decisions are opinions I consider that that was never a penalty as it started outside the box and the player was already going down.

Kevin Friend never had control of the game from the start. The amount of Time wasting, particularly by Forster should have been stamped out. I believe the booking of Rice means his total is now 5, does that mean he is banned for a game, if so when will that take place.

I don't understand why Masuarku started the game after his poor display against Spurs when there were 3 other full backs sitting on the bench. The number of times Moyes had to give instructions was frightening. Diop was poor yesterday but is that because he was having to cover Arthur. Dawson and even Coufal looked poor.

Last season both Dawson and Soucek were scoring regularly this season that hasn't happened. Benrahama, goal apart still can't seem to make the right decisions especially his final ball. We need to get some people over theine in January I'm hoping we do sign Linguard and a striker of some note to get us back in the groove.

Would also like to see us sign a goalkeeper my preference being Sam Johnson. Whilst he is still playing well Fabianski is not as sharp as he was

1.) 27 Dec 2021 11:30:35
mecerl, I listened to Radio Commentary then saw the MOTD highlights which you never really can go by to closely?
I also never ever saw that as a penalty, definitely on the way down after the initial challenge well outside the box, I could more understand if it was given in real time, but to study the VAR then get it wrong imo, is a total disgrace!
I am a big Benrahma critic, but took the goal really well, but he should be getting something right!
Re Fab, I tend to agree, but why not give Areola a sustained run in the PL, DM did say he has 2 number one Keepers, if we got Johnstone he would expect to be No1?
I hope we get Lingard as well?also another up front to help Ant out, he can’t cope with to many games and understandably so!
Defensive reinforcements as well of course, but can only expect so many new signings, with more in the Summer window?

2.) 28 Dec 2021 01:50:19
I don't think it was a penalty, but that doesn't paper over the fact we were atrocious.

3.) 28 Dec 2021 11:34:17
Sal, my main concern about us in the run up to end last season was always that we will not be able to cope with Euro games and travel, PL games and those International players we have involved in qualifiers, sometimes playing up to 3 games within a week or so!
We know the big clubs that are always in Europe can cope because of the squad sizes, but a dip in form for us is absolutely no surprise to me at all?

10 Dec 2021 18:50:47
If Liverpool come in for Bowen in January would you take a swap for Origi and NAT Philips

1.) 10 Dec 2021 20:26:47
No! Love Bowen, DM loves him, grafter, sure he’s well settled with us, grass always greener elsewhere? ⚒⚒⚒⚒

2.) 11 Dec 2021 12:32:55
Phillips is injured anyway! Considering they were wanting 12 - 15m for each one last summer I think that represents poor business for us as we payed 20m for bowen. And they paid 40m for Jota I'd rather have the cash play hand ball we don't want to sell put a price on have 50m maybe sell him for 40m add to that what we may already have for players you maybe go sign Cabral or Alavarez. Lingard, zakaria and a CB.

Do love bowen though.

3.) 12 Dec 2021 08:20:18
Got to keep Bowen at all costs, he’s a grafter and he’s getting better and better.

05 Dec 2021 09:50:29
With all the press continuing to move Rice to a super club I think it's time to start thinking in a higher way. Mason Mount still hasn't signed a new contract at Chelsea, he would fit in at West Ham let's make him an offer in January to join West Ham in the summer

1.) 05 Dec 2021 10:43:43
Foden on the other wing would be nice too.

2.) 05 Dec 2021 17:35:19
And mbappe up top

3.) 06 Dec 2021 06:16:45
I think we should do as suggested and build a team around him. Man City aren't a bad team, we should buy all of them.

02 Dec 2021 10:19:53
I watched the VAR incident countless times. Now I thought that if the ball comes off a opposite player, he plays you onside.Yhe ball came off Duffy before it brushed Antonio's foot do O think the goal should have stood.Thoight officials were poor last night all round

1.) 02 Dec 2021 16:06:33
Of course we think the goal should have stood. We're West Ham fans!

2.) 02 Dec 2021 19:39:59
It is if the opposition player plays or attempts to play the ball not if it just deflects off of them.

3.) 03 Dec 2021 15:17:39
There was an angle which clearly
showed it bounced over micks foot which I thought was a clearer picture than the one where it looked like it came off his shin which was all blurred. But of course it was that one they kept looking at.

Mark the way I read the article was a 27% stake valuing the club at £650 million I e he would be investing around £160 million initially with the intention of taking s majority stake after 2023

Ed's any confirmation in you knowledge.

{Ed002's Note - There have been discussions for a while but your understanding is that the stake that is available is apparently just under 27% of the total shares and that your calculation is correct that it values the club at something like £600+M in total - not his share. There is a separate issue to resolve in relation to UEFA and his ownership of Sparta Prague in respect of European competition. But that can be fixed.}

Think it's so frustrating that he couldn't do it in the PL I have the feeling that he just didn't like England. When he did start he was always behind the play very sad really I ha great hopes when he first signed

I think Zpuma and Dawson will be first choice central defenders

Out of contract at Burnley in June and reported Burnley have reduced the asking price. At 28 years old I guess he has s few years on him still but we still have 4 central defenders if you include Baptiste. In an emergency Rice could fill in as well - not that I'm suggesting that bit I don't think Oggys injury is an absolute disaster
