Team talk say Everton interested in Anderson Ed you heard anything at all.

mercerl

{Ed002's Note - No, it would not be possible now.}

1.) 12 Jan 2021 09:09:13
Not doubting what you are saying Ed, not in the slightest. but is it because of the fact he has been registered by two clubs already this season?

If West Ham do recall Anderson, surely we would know this? hahaha.

I may have dreamed this but is it not a case of the whole C.V. and the financial restraints it has inflicted on clubs that Fifa and Uefa are willing to be a little more relaxed in their loan rules?

{Ed002's Note - Everton has no interest.}

2.) 12 Jan 2021 12:39:50
I thought AC Milan we’re interested?

{Ed002's Note - Milan would be open to taking Anderson for the summer after losing out on Dominik Szoboszlai. If they were to buy him in January they would have to not play, or be loaned to West Ham or Porto for the remainder of the season.}

3.) 12 Jan 2021 13:54:55
Ed002’s, That’s not surprising, very sensible😂👍👍bet you’re pleased Ed as I think you are an Evertonian? 👍⚒.

{Ed002's Note - That would be Ed025.}

4.) 12 Jan 2021 16:20:24
Hahaha. That would be why then Ed. Thanks.

5.) 13 Jan 2021 05:22:58
Ed I read that FIFA are going to relax the rules about two clubs because of C.V. - no truth to that? I read it in conjunction with the Anderson stories.

{Ed002's Note - The rule is he can be registered for three and play for two. I am not sure what CV has to do with that and am not aware of any proposed changes to the rules. But if that is what has been said ...}

Ex WHU employee recons we have been offered Ryan Brewster on loan he scored 1 in 2 at Swansea last year.

mercerl

1.) 12 Sep 2020 15:56:15
We'd be a bit silly not to have a good hard look at Rhian Brewster. 10 goals in 20 league games last season for Swansea (which is what I assume you meant to type but yer 0 fell off) albeit in the Championship isn't a bad return for then 19yo. I'd much rather him than Fernando bloody Llorente that's for sure!

2.) 12 Sep 2020 18:18:27
Any chance of a loan with an option to buy?

3.) 12 Sep 2020 18:55:38
Take him with or without an option to buy! Offers something differnt to both haller and Antonio.

05 Sep 2020 20:10:47
Daily Express reporting Anderson may go to Liverpool on loan for £5 million.

mercerl

1.) 06 Sep 2020 00:52:15
Be good if it could happen. Wonder if they’d like Haller as well?

2.) 06 Sep 2020 08:31:48
And who’s going to play upfront mark?

3.) 06 Sep 2020 09:44:27
TBH I don’t think it matters as they’ll run and shoot more than Haller!

4.) 06 Sep 2020 16:51:25
Disagree.

5.) 06 Sep 2020 16:53:34
Its clear to me and iy breaks my heart to say it we are going down. I said it last year and was only just wrong we need defenders or were down.

6.) 06 Sep 2020 18:51:38
Yes and we will bring in those players moyes ain’t an idiot he know where we are lacking quality LB RB CB and a striker if we can shift 2/ 3 more will make life easier of we can off load musuka plus Wiltshire and one other brilliant let’s have a balanced squad for me the third player had to be between lanzini / Anderson decisions need to be made who is going to support haller playing lanzina Anderson out wide doesn’t work the both feel the need to cut inside narrowing out attack it becomes 1 against 2/ 3 it breaks down we are them under pressure per defect example Antonio on the right causes problems a 2 player drop in to help the defender out creating space for striker n support it’s when we lose the ball we have to many players out of position.

7.) 06 Sep 2020 20:07:53
With the best will in the world we aren't hoing to get a quality lb/ rb/ cb and striker for 18 million if we make one signing it will be a bonus, no doubt a loan probably after rice leaves.

8.) 06 Sep 2020 20:13:18
Id like us to get another battering ram like antonio such as marega. Big powerful and strong to bully defenders and let midfield join up with play.

9.) 06 Sep 2020 20:15:24
Mark a good striker with quality service 3 shots 2 goal I’m not interested in how much running he does.

10.) 06 Sep 2020 20:25:44
No we have to juggle.

11.) 06 Sep 2020 20:50:50
Not sure there's much room to juggle with some of the ridiculous salaries we pay.

12.) 06 Sep 2020 23:19:37
Yes part of the problem.

13.) 06 Sep 2020 23:37:18
Robbo what’s how our transfer kitty? becuse know one seems to no.

14.) 07 Sep 2020 02:36:05
Ed002 said a couple of weeks ago money was very tight, can't see how selling diangana has improved things that much, considering we need a LB and RB and Robinson, cash and now it looks like Jamal Lewis have all gone for not massive fees but we have been no where near any of them i'm guessing there is next to nothing in the pot, so I guess loans are our best hope of improving squad no idea who would be avliable there, Chelsea might have 1 or 2 decent options, ED will have the best idea though I know they but up a big list of possibles a week or so ago.

{Ed002's Note - The problem with loans in the Premier League is that clubs can only register:
- Two players on loan at any one time.
- Four players over the season in total (so changing the two in January)
- No more than one from any one club.

Chelsea have a host of players that are available for sale - and some of the younger ones for loan. They do have a couple of very good young full backs in Dujon Sterling and Juan Familia-Castillo who are available to loan.}

15.) 07 Sep 2020 10:19:10
Brill thanks ED!

16.) 07 Sep 2020 17:31:41
On the HALLER topic he ain't a big bruiser that's going to knock people about and in a friendly its about getting sharpness and match fitness not emptying yourself and getting injured, its well documented that i think HALLER is top class and given the right service can prove as big a hit as TEVEZ IMO. COYI.

17.) 08 Sep 2020 07:01:20
Robbo point I was making by juggling w1 Ed’s said money was tight in no way was suggesting that we was going tobring in 3/ 4 players for 18 million.

03 Sep 2020 16:15:27
So so far of our possible targets Duffy has gone to Scotland Matty Cash to Villa and Eze to Palace and it looks like Watkins going to Villa as well

Having lost Diangana I can't honestly see a big improvement on the te that finished the last season, still I guess we might see a few of u23s coming through.

mercerl

{Ed002's Note - Things will happen.}

1.) 03 Sep 2020 17:56:42
Merc, how frustrated and disappointed does this make us all? Some may think of us as a big club, I don’t personally, well known yes, but we must be appalling run, to be outgunned on transfers by most other clubs is unforgivable considering the time we have been of Premiership status! You can’t blame any one person, but to have given MP such freedom without any come back on him was madness Imo! The board have got a lot to be thankful For in DM, not the best record as a Manager, but saved our club again, I really hope he does well with his begging bucket and cheap loan deals! ⚒⚒⚒⚒.

2.) 03 Sep 2020 18:07:15
Ed is like the oracle, if he says things will happen then I believe things will happen, it’s hard to be patient, because things are confusing at the minute I personally wouldn’t sell Grady but if there’s no other interest at the moment that’s concrete then what can u do. In Ed we trust lol 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.

3.) 03 Sep 2020 18:52:00
I'm with you Chelmsford.

4.) 03 Sep 2020 18:54:50
I don't think we are outgunned Chelms Haller our record signing has only been topped by Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs, i think our biggest problem is what we spend on we have bought players that have massively underperformed and sold them on for much less than we paid to get rid of ludicrous wages we pay to attract them in the first place, i'm sure this is why we are struggling now.

5.) 03 Sep 2020 19:05:38
Yeah so disappointing we get so called good players who turn out to be not so good or played in wrong positions. We need defenders that can defend first and foremost as cresswell, matsuaku and fredericks are not up to the standard needed for the Premier league.

6.) 03 Sep 2020 21:17:45
I think having a director of football long term would make a big difference. We always seem to have an imbalanced squad managers come and go and never get long enough to implement the changes.

I think we have to remember aswell that we didn't have a full season with Soucek and Bowen who both look solid. We got cut open so many times so easily under Pellegrini much to his kamamazee tactics and lack of legs in midfield soucek is perfect in there just need better full backs as everyone already seems to know.

Unfortunately us having to many wingers has lead to us having to sell Diangana strangely though we are being linked to benrahma rather than defensive options. Unless Moyes fancys benrahma to play centrally.

15 Aug 2020 08:56:30
Lots of rumpus appearing again about John Stones on Moyes wish list personally think he would be a good acquisition my only worries bit prone to Injury and makes the odd clanger what do you guys think.

mercerl

1.) 15 Aug 2020 09:58:57
Morning, I also think Stones would be a good signing, but who would you drop, not unless Moyes is thinking of 3 at the back?

2.) 15 Aug 2020 14:52:55
He can play at right back, too. We know that Johnson can cover both sides.

3.) 15 Aug 2020 19:42:01
yes i like him if we can find some money to buy him.

4.) 16 Aug 2020 01:14:50
He’d be a cracking buy. 3 at the back makes sense, and when ones injured me revert to 442.

5.) 16 Aug 2020 13:03:07
His wage demands would be way outside our salary structure. Manchester City players are so tough to sign due to their ludicrous contracts given to them. He’s probably on north of 150k per week. We can not afford to be giving out a contract like that during this time, as well as paying a large transfer fee in £20m.

Completely unrealistic. Duffy would be much more realistic, I’d personally be quite happy if we signed him. Stones is also horrible at RB. Why buy a player like that and then play him out of position?

Our best bit of business this window will be the permanent signing of Soucek and IF we can manage to hold onto Declan.

6.) 16 Aug 2020 13:50:53
TK, I rate Duffy and Dunk as well👍👍Be quite happy with either👍👍⚒⚒.

7.) 16 Aug 2020 15:42:17
We'd never get Dunk, aren't Chelsea in for him? Duffy will end up at Celtic I reckon.

8.) 16 Aug 2020 18:13:11
I also heard Phil jones is being looked at.

9.) 17 Aug 2020 16:56:14
Seems diop in his way to first bidder for £45m so clearly if we could get a free agent cb it might give moyes some cash to play with.

Here's a thought Winston Reid to start against Doncaster.

1.) 19 Jan 2021 02:25:56
I lost a family member today from this terrible disease and some people are saying it isn't real well it is so everybody be sensible and stay safe i could really do with cheering up by us signing a top striker🌝 i see wilshire has joined Bournmouth again let's see if he figures for them as he said he was fit to play we will see.

2.) 19 Jan 2021 13:46:01
Morley, so sorry to hear that mate, coincidentally my Wife had a call from a friend who’s Son passed away, devastating, how do you recover from that as a Parent whatever age? Same story from Wilshere😂this time he’ll play out of his skin as he’s only getting a contract until the end of season, he’s a Lazy player who knew he could sickbench on £80k a week, he won’t be doing that at B’mouth until he gets a longer sickbench contract😂
Be interesting tonight👍👍⚒⚒⚒.

3.) 19 Jan 2021 14:41:55
So so sorry to you both, we also just lost a family friend to it, he was in his 80’s but that’s not the point, he was a lovely bloke and the best friend to my wife’s nan before she passed away a few years back. It’s a horrible thing this CV crap. Again so sorry to you guys and I know this is a wet ham rumour site but real life goes on I guess, but I’m with you, a result tonight and a striker signing please, required for some cheer ups and smiles all round
Stay safe guys.
⚒.

What about Divok Origi he's not getting much chance at Liverpool at the moment and seems Wolves have gone quiet on him.

mercerl

{Ed002's Note - West Ham has no interest in him.}

1.) 10 Jan 2021 10:33:28
Thanks Ed.

2.) 10 Jan 2021 11:45:53
Thank God. Watching Divock Origi frustrates out of me. Like a headless chicken and his crosses are dismal!

03 Jan 2021 14:11:14
One of the things that exasperated me about West ham is the time it takes for us to take throw ins. Seems whoever takes them takes forever with little movement from the non taking players This often results in us losing the ball.

Watching the Palace game yesterday it was always quick and decisive even if going backwards. What's your thoughts guys.

mercerl

1.) 03 Jan 2021 16:10:53
Been saying the same for years other teams get the ball get it back in play then go again we just toss it forward and hope for a flick on its infuriating.

2.) 04 Jan 2021 13:03:10
The extra space around are pitch doesn't help either.

3.) 04 Jan 2021 16:38:03
It is a weakness of west ham, should be the easiest ball to retain but we seem to do the opposite.

30 Dec 2020 13:36:25
Never thought last year I would be saying this but I think we have actually missed Arthur. We know he can't really defend that well but his ball skills are excellent. Add that to the way he interacts with Creswell and the fact both of them able to cross balls as well makes it a real good partnership.

mercerl

1.) 30 Dec 2020 16:04:26
merceri, Not just just saying it but I have always rated Masu👍He has terrific pace with good crosses so he contributes massively, not so hot defending but we have others to do that? ⚒⚒⚒.

29 Dec 2020 20:01:31
Funny game tonight but thought Dawson played really well as did the rest of the defence yarma looked off his game tonight and assume Bowen will be Back against Everton.

Been an up and down career with us don't forget he had a year out on loan Villa was it but last year thought he was one of our better players age doesn't fit the Moyes profile either.

He has now signed 6ft 2inch Central defender 21 years old so one for the future. We need a striker who can walk in and get goals.

West Ham must keep players like Declan

Over 100 games played virtually injury free and a regular England International where do you get that every day

Reminds me of the way we lost RIO 30 years ago.

That's short for Player Of The Year Chelmsford, got to agree he's got to be nbr 2 on the list each week after Declan. Hate to say it in case I jynx it but 132 appearances and I can't remember Rice not being available.

Evening Chelmsford, hard 3 points today but 4 clean sheets on a row says a lot about the defence.

I am beginning to wonder a bit about Fan though he very rarely comes for balls these days. Watching Pope and how well he intersepted crosses and commanded his area it was a huge difference. Don't get me wrong bit maybe in the Medium term we should be looking for a replacement whether it's a transfer or bringing through one of the juniors Trott or Anang.
