WH have he'd a conversation with RÜDIGER former Chelsea now Real Madrid Cb

He's a free agent, this summer although 32, still has plenty in the tank, wants to comeback to London

If we avoid the drop?, I wouldn't be shocked to see him turn up at WH, as he has personally ruled out ruled out Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs

Thought for another time maybe?

11 Feb 2026 15:14:43
If Real Madrid cancelled his contract could he not come now?

0

11 Feb 2026 17:50:54
Good call, but cannot see that unfortunately, he’s exactly what’s needed

0

12 Feb 2026 07:54:17
Real Madrid haven't actually cancelled his contract, but his contract expires at the end of this season. They would need to cancel his contract before he could join another club.

West Ham have a squad of 23 registered with the Premier League, and the maximum squad size is 25, so there are two squad spaces available. HOWEVER, we have a full quota of 16 foreign players, so could only sign and register homegrown players between now and the end of the season.

Despite having a number of injuries (torn meniscus, thigh and knee problems) over the last couple years, IF he were to be released by Real Madrid, Rudiger would be a solid signing until the end of the season for any club in the Premier League with a free foreign player registration spot in their squad. Sadly, that isn't West Ham.

I'm hearing that there could be a few missing for tonight's game with injuries, maybe Summerville, does anyone know anything, and who would you start in goal?

0

10 Feb 2026 12:41:28
I’m only going by other stuff I’ve read online but I don’t think it is Summerville. One could be Pablo as he was limping at the end of the game on Saturday

0

10 Feb 2026 12:43:07
If players are missing it’s all on Sullivan for not investing in new players and unnecessarily getting rid of others

0

10 Feb 2026 15:25:18
Was bound to happen. Just as we start to play decent football, our desperately thin squad gets a few injured and that's all she wrote

Yeah we know who's fault it is, but that's not going to change anytime soon. Just got to get on with it and do the best we can with what we have

1

10 Feb 2026 18:13:34
Injuries are no one’s fault… they happen. It gives a chance to those on the bench to prove themselves.

0

10 Feb 2026 20:32:52
Injuries aren't anyone's fault having a small squad devoid of indepth prem talent is however someone's fault

1

10 Feb 2026 22:28:21
There is a school of thought that training load, nutrition and other fitness factors can influence the rate and incidence of injuries. Certain coaches have in the past been questioned on their training approach due to the high number of injuries in a squad over the course of a season, look at Spuds now as an example.

That's not to say Sullivan shouldn't have backed Nuno better, even the 3 blind mice could see that.

0

07 Feb 2026 17:59:03
No coincidence Hermandsen in goal and another clean sheet? Disasi looked solid. Decent performance.

Man utd Tuesday will be a different test

0

07 Feb 2026 18:34:15
Come tomorrow Nuno must have a look, at Man Utd on the tape if he hasn’ already

In principle they have 4/5 players plus, that are hitting the ball from distance, and with a good proportion of accuracy

My concern is Hermansen is a small GK, and Areola is a good shot stopper
Needs to be looked into

0

07 Feb 2026 21:22:18
Put Areola back in goal for the Utd game.

1

10 Feb 2026 02:51:52
Nuno has said some players will be missing. Any ideas?

0

07 Feb 2026 08:28:56
Reports coming out that we never bid any money for Harwood-Bellis. We did make a proposal, which was a loan agreement with an obligation to buy if West Ham stayed in the Premier League, but no money was ever offered.

So instead of buying a young, match fit defender, that we desperately need, that could have gone straight into the starting 11 and been a feature for years to come, we went for disasi, who isn't fit, will take at least 6 games before he starts and who will probably leave at seasons end? Where is the sense in that business decision?

0

07 Feb 2026 10:02:07
THATS NOT TRUE, sorry mate, everybody can believe whatever they want, it matters not to me

WH. Bid was a shade below £13 m plus small amount of addons
That was refused, WH, were told if they come back at £15/16 m plus £2 m of very doable add ons, it would likely be accepted

Providing it was a minimum of £5 m down, plus 2 payments, end of first season, end of second season, to complete purchase

WH decided not to purchase, that where it ended

There may have been an offer to loan with option or obligation PRIOR to the first bid, there’s no record of that but that would have been instantly knocked back anyway

I’ve checked this with an associate of mine, who lives in Christchurch and who follows Bournemouth and Southampton, he has connections, with both clubs

He was the one who first alerted me, about Junior Kroupi, and WH chase for that player, , that’s how it was Mac, your being misled mate

0

07 Feb 2026 14:03:14
Cheers for the clarification Joyful. Even at that price, we missed out and it was clearly a sign of our ambition

See Hermandsen starts with Callum wilson up front as opposed to pablo?

Disasi starts over kilman which speaks volumes

0

07 Feb 2026 14:33:38
Hermansen, Hmmm? Perhaps Areola carrying a knock, don’t get this one

Pablo gives his all, but he’s not astriker in my view

Disasi a not quite fit player in front of Kilman tells you everything you need-to know

0

07 Feb 2026 15:43:02
Harewood bellis is a pretty mediocre player to be honest 18 + million for a squad player is a lot, I personally don't think they were ever going to spend anything was the same as the summer and will be the same next year and the year after until sullivan has gone

0

06 Feb 2026 16:35:13
Well West Ham have done it again. The loan deal for Gideon Kodua ( captain of our F.A youth cup winning team ) has been made permanent for £1m to Luton Town. He has scored 10 goals this season. In my opinion he has all of the potential to be a very successful player for the next 10 years.

He should be back at West Ham for pre season and give him a chance to shine. But now as always in my opinion we have made a grave mistake.

2

06 Feb 2026 17:49:26
Can’t argue with that comment, he would be especially valuable if we drop, for that money totally uneccessary

1

06 Feb 2026 21:31:48
Yep another good youngster gone. Guilherme doing great at sporting! Who is sanctioning these stupid deals, is it Sully or Nuno? I know who my money is on…….

1

05 Feb 2026 15:34:54
WH are putting together two lists, one is for new faces. Should we stay up
Another is for new faces, if we drop

I'm not privy to these lists, but three of the names on, the stayup" list, are the player just spoken about from Le Havre, Goretzka, from. Bayern. Who will be a free agent, and Matheus Martinelli, Dfm Fluminese

0

06 Feb 2026 09:18:24
Honestly i don't understand how we could be 'making a list' for the summer but then every window we leave it till last minute. Surely if you make a lost this early you then start the window quickly

1

06 Feb 2026 11:01:16
Its the west ham way. Make a list of 10 players in each position and keep bidding low, then when list runs out turn to free agents or cheap options at the last minute

1

06 Feb 2026 11:19:40
In my opinion only, hoping for the best, start preparing for the worst, in that event, there will be somany players leaving

Forward thinking might help a little, but different level and type of players required, for championship

0

06 Feb 2026 14:42:36
Nahhhh its not over with by any stretch of the imagination. Forest win tonight, Leeds form has dropped off, we beat Burnley and Leeds and its all to play for

0

04 Feb 2026 19:49:48
SANGANTE is the correct spelling sorry !

0

05 Feb 2026 13:09:57
Joyfull,
Please use the reply facility when appropriate. Your using a new post in reply on another thread is not only confusing, but can also nullify your often important comments.
Cheers,
Tin.

0

05 Feb 2026 14:15:10
Ok will try to remember that regards

0

04 Feb 2026 19:35:49
NOT a story WH 3 days before-the windows end were a medical away from signing Sangante young Cb from Lehavre

Sullivan changed his mind and pushed for more experience, so. Disasi

Terms et Al, had all been agreed, WH did well to keep this one quiet, however, it's history now, Maybe they will return for him next window?

0

05 Feb 2026 07:22:11
That’s very interesting Joyful, as this was reported on C&H that this signing was about to happen but Nuno vetoed against it. I immediately smelt a rat and suggested it may well be the Sullivans mouthpieces putting this story out to throw others under the bus because the transfer window was a corporate example of suicide.

The article did the trick for the board as it unleashed a flurry of comments accusing the manager of trying to sabotage the club. The word unprofessional is often overused but it is far too soft in relation to West Ham 😡

0

05 Feb 2026 08:48:15
Other way round mate Mr Sullivan stopped it, but whilst it’s unknown what terms had been previously agreed common sense tells you it’s a fee plus a contract, which will be a hell of a lot more than Disasi overall, I feel no one else was brought in, not only to save Money

But not to have any more players there just for a short term, in case we drop, and he’s just another player added to a fire sale, within a few months of arrival, ….Disasi would just. Return to Chelsea, end of story , this to me, must be the reason, because, the Frenchman, is the type of player we need

0

05 Feb 2026 10:55:40
Short sighted doesn’t cover it.
Regardless of the not to positive predictions regarding Disasi, let’s hope he does a Dawson and turns out to be good and gives Chelsea the one fingered salute

0

05 Feb 2026 13:32:31
It's unbelievable how often these lies are served up, the vast majority still believe them, case and point paquetta and kudos

0

04 Feb 2026 13:37:39
STORIES just STORIES

Isidor of Sunderland, Neketiah of Palace neither of these players were bid for by WH

TRUE, going back to last August, on Calvert Lewin., WH had first refusal, yes posted it on here

Many on here were against his coming to WH, the player was very keen

He's proved to be worthwhile, he's earning same as. Castellanos, it's all a matter of judgement

0

04 Feb 2026 18:20:07
Story after story now coming out about defenders and midfielders "WE TRIED" to bring in? Yeah ok, here comes to cover up stories being released by Sullivan and his press Corps to appease the fans.

They had all window to get deals done but its never going to happen if he bids £12m for a player valued at £25m!

Tell us another one. Sooner he sells up the better

1

04 Feb 2026 23:43:40
Calvert Lewin was like Wilson i don't think any doubted his ability it was his injury record that most of us doubted to be honest

1

03 feb 2026 11:01:42
To be honest with everyone. After watching last night's game, if we can't beat Burnley, you must ask yourself a question; do we deserve to stay up?

They are obviously a lot better at home than they are away. but nevertheless, if we lose on Saturday, forget the mathematical equations, it's all over.

1

03 Feb 2026 11:54:08
Burnley will want a reaction for that result, expect them to come at us all guns blazing, it’s going to be a tough game.

2

03 Feb 2026 12:48:15
Every game is tough, WH would.

Expect no different, tell me please, if we can’t bear them., who exactly are we going to beat, it’s clear, we have no squad depth, surely we have no chance.in three of the games left, Against LIverpool, Man Utd Arsenal etc, SO then Are we going to win 7/8 of the remaining 10 games, no way that is EVER going to happen, that’s my reasoning

0

03 Feb 2026 13:57:00
Far far too negative! We have a great chance to beat Man Utd, they are still shipping goals, Liverpool are flattering to deceive and Arsenal I agree will be difficult.

0

03 Feb 2026 15:16:20
NOT negative mate realistic is the word, so it’s ok to lose to Burnley and beat those teams, ? Just my opinion

0

03 Feb 2026 16:12:07
I think we'll beat them all except arsenal

0

03 Feb 2026 16:45:49
NOW that's what I call OPTIMISM, from a true supporter

I’m nowhere near as optimistic as you are, I hope your right and I’m wrong

Chelsea are several levels above us, we have to accept that, what bothers me, is the way we fell off after 60 minutes, we have a couple of decent midfielders to bring on plus Wilson that’s it, that is what I see as big part of our problem

0

03 Feb 2026 16:58:03
I don’t think we’ll lose to Burnley ….what’s your point?

0

03 Feb 2026 17:55:04
I think we just need to stay in touch, Leeds and forest will drop points and become more and more nervous, we are rightly favorites for the last relegation spot and will struggle to stay up i just want the team to go out fighting and if we get a bit of luck with other results we have a chance

0

03 Feb 2026 18:27:34
My point is we are 6 points adrift, 7 if you include goal averages we might have to get 43/43 points, is it possible, yes, but c, mon is it likely no, the top teams, are levels above us, with big squads

I sincerely hope I’m wrong, but our inability to defend, is more than concerning, that’s our problem

0

03 Feb 2026 20:05:25
In spite of Saturdays result we have hit a bit of form. Our next 5 games are Burnley, Man Utd, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Fulham imo all games in our current form we can get points from. We also have Wolves to play again and a 6 pointer with Leeds.

It might not take 43 points, that’s more than it has been over previous seasons. I think Leeds have had their run and Palace in disarray. Until its mathematically impossible I’m keeping faith

0

03 Feb 2026 20:41:40
I’m pleased to read that!

0

04 Feb 2026 07:03:50
Im with Dabber. There is only 6 points between us and leeds. Leeds form has dropped off and they got a bad run of fixtures ahead whereas our form has picked up, we got some very winnable fixtures coming up and leeds still need to come to us

Im very optimistic as long as nuno goes for the jugular when we have a lead and stops trying to defend what we have

0

04 Feb 2026 07:11:40
My only worry is that the squad is desperately thin

0

04 Feb 2026 11:24:47
That’s a major part of our problem,

0

04 Feb 2026 13:05:08
Agreed, a few injuries and we can forget it

0

04 Feb 2026 15:03:35
Mac3, since when has our current Damager gone for the Jugular? He doesn’t want to win games, managers are supposed to learn by mistakes, this one hasn’t, 👎👎⚒⚒🙊🙊

0

04 Feb 2026 18:23:10
Agreed Chelmsford, i'm hoping he learns by his mistakes. If nothing else, we also need to recoup the goal difference and if we are sitting back it won't happen

Having said that, if our defenders could actually defend, he may play more attacking football. One can only hope

0

04 Feb 2026 20:30:29
Mac3, he’s a bloody slow learner, unfortunately he can’t change his boring playing tactics, said it a number of times before on here, my son in law is from Nottingham but is down here in Chelmsford for 25 years, says was exactly the same for Forest and he and lots of fans hated him for it, so never going to change Mac👎👎⚒⚒⚒

0

04 Feb 2026 22:43:54
As long as Nuno gets the team attacking, we’ll be ok, but if he gets us dropping deep, then we’ll struggle.

1

02 Feb 2026 21:07:11
What's happened to the Disasi deal? thought you only got 2 hours after the deal sheet went in to get the deal done?

1

02 Feb 2026 17:20:52
Few facts of interest, NO bid was ever made for either John Egan or Hayden Hackney
Noble DID recommend NNADI to WH as well as MATHIAS DELORGE of Gent

He was ignored on both, why waste money on him chasing around, looking at players, that apparently were never even considered

Noble will say nothing he's on 50 k a week, but he must be thinking, what' is going on here!

The answer is with Sullivan Your wasting your time, you can promote any names all will be ignored

Clubs a complete mess

0

02 Feb 2026 17:30:53
Agreed joyful. And we blame nuno?

Only one person to blame gor the entire mess

0

02 Feb 2026 17:37:05
Sad really isn't it? Maybe mother nature just needs to do it's thing re Sullivan. It's like torture living under his ownership

0

02 Feb 2026 18:09:04
If by some miracle we do get disasi, and we can get him fit, he could be just what we need. Whilst not comfortable passing the ball about, he is a solid defender who commits himself and works hard.

0

02 Feb 2026 18:25:24
Mac, you are wrong. The entire blame does not rest on Nuno’s shoulders. I think we all know at whose door the blame lies for how bad the club is run. However, Sullivan did not select Saturday’s team, nor direct the tactics or make the team changes. He selected the dumbo who did.

2

02 Feb 2026 18:56:47
Tin. Have u thought we've had 3 decent managers this season who couldn't get a tune out of this lot. Yes, nuno has made some bad decisions, but he has finally got us playing with some conviction.

Let's not be blinded by the defeat at Chelsea, if tobido had scored it would've been game over. Small margins lie between victory and defeat in the Premier league and as we all know, when you got your opponents by the throat, you have to take the chances to kill them off.

To sum up, although he has dropped some clangers, there is finally a ray of hope we could actually get out of this mess.

My problem is that even if ge does, I fear we will be having the same conversation every season until this board has gone.

Burnley is the acid test. Lose that and its over

0

02 Feb 2026 19:04:51
Sullivan, Potter and Nuno all equally to blame for this current mess. We have lost 18 points from winning positions this season. Those 18 points would have put us in 7th on 38 points! Sullivan wouldn’t put his hand in his pocket for Cresswell etc and Nuno keeps trying to protect leads with Kilman in the back 4! Both are B*ll*nds obviously as is Potter!

0

02 Feb 2026 19:28:22
Sullivan is ultimatl6 to blame but that doesn't mean Nuno shouldn't shoulder his share of the blame aswell terrible team selections, tactics and substitutions throwing away points are totally on him

0

02 Feb 2026 19:41:03
Even by our usual disastrous windows this has to be one of the worse. Or at least the end part. The inability to get in a 2 half decent CBs and a creative midfielder is a joke and the fact we seem to have got one CB in on loan who by all accounts the manager doesn’t rate and it seems that the player didn’t want to come here and his ability and fitness is questionable at best.

Obviously I hope our worries about his ability are unfounded and he rediscovers his early form with Monaco which has been said to be decent

0

02 Feb 2026 21:51:34
Dabber I’m sorry mate but you are are being far too fair to Sullivan there giving him equal billing for our current predicament. The whole reason we are in this mess ALL leads back to Sullivan and Brady’s door. And the way this club is still run like an unprofessional outfit from the 80s. The chairman that buys the players. That hires poor manager after poor manager and also didn’t get shot of Moyes after the euro win. Where has all the money gone? How much money are people like Brady earning.

He operates in the transfer window like Arthur Daley.
As much as Killman has been terrible he isn’t to blame for everything. And as he has been that bad why does Sullivan not replace him. Nuno has cost us points and Potter was a turgid manager out of his depth and Loppy was totally unsuitable to this club Sullivan thought he knew best with all these appointments. Our club has become a laughing stock due to shoddy little person

2

03 Feb 2026 11:41:04
Fair enough Hammer-D mate, you are right Sullivan is the main culprit and is worse than a B*ll*nd, he’s a nasty, narcissistic con man! I had real hope that Nuno could turn things around when he took over but I just don’t have time for somebody who makes the same mistake over and over. Our defenders can't defend under pressure including the goalkeeper and yet Nuno invites that unwanted pressure onto them by trying to protect leads. As for Kilman unless Steidten is a complete amateur there must be a half decent player in there but he’s obviously devoid of any confidence, he even made a signal to heaven when he came on on Saturday which I’ve never seen before.

I’m generally a positive thinker and still believe we can just about escape being relegated but only because the forwards and midfield have hit form. I think that is down to Nuno’s new number 2, an attack minded coach. I want us to stay up because relegation could mean massive problems for us as a club however whatever speeds up the demise of the poison dwarf and his sidekicks also appeals. Sorry for the long winded response and appreciate your comments as always HD

0

03 Feb 2026 13:31:19
Hey DH don’t worry about the long winded texts, I’m a specialist. 😂
Your points are very valid I’m similar to you in your opinion of Nuno as I didn’t see him as a long term solution but did think he could keep us up. It’s now looking very doubtful and h[e has to take responsibility for that because of his horrendous substitutions.i feel he has done some good stuff and if it is down to him the change to a more attacking style then good on him. I suspect it may be the new coach that has done this. Because this upturn in style has only happened since he has been here.

I think weather we stay up or drop Nuno needs to go and I would take a chance on the Spanish coach to take over. I’m sure he has nothing to do with the substitutions. Killman is zero in confidence he didn’t do anything particularly bad the other night (nor did the rest of the defence) but he understandably looks nervous. But here is where the poisoned dwarf is ultimately to blame for continually having a stupidly small squad and no defence alternative apart from bargain basement options.

0

03 Feb 2026 17:01:37
Sorry Dabber meant DH not HD

0

03 Feb 2026 17:34:40
You’re right HD about the new coach, Paco Jemez, apparently recognised as an attack minded coach and actually fell out with Nuno over one of his substitution decisions a couple of weeks ago.

As our defence minded head coach is not learning and our owners haven’t helped them by buying any meaningful better alternatives I’d like to see Jemez given a crack at it ……at least it would be fun 😁

Nnadi signed for Marseille for 6m euros.

Disasi coming in unfit, not trained and not played for 6 months.

Still no sign of keeper or midfielder? 9 hours left for one of the most important windows in recent history

0

02 Feb 2026 11:27:58
Ngolo kante signed for 5m euros to fenerbahce.

0

02 Feb 2026 09:40:29
Disasi hasn't played for 6 months and isn't training. We need a CB who can start now and the hit the ground running

Kinski will not be joining full stop

0

01 Feb 2026 18:32:52
West Ham will not sign Taylor Harwood-Bellis. Negotiations have broken down.

Would we make another run at Dier? What about Egan on deadline day?

Let's not forget we need a Paqueta replacement!

0

02 Feb 2026 08:00:32
Eric Dier is injured, with an unknown return date

1

02 Feb 2026 08:29:04
Stefan Ortega has joined Nottingham Forest on loan. so our goalkeeping options are one fewer. Got to be honest, I'd rather two centre backs and a central midfielder in today, but in truth I don't see a lot happening at all. Maybe, just maybe, Disasi to join on loan.

We should have been all over the Gomes deal from Marseille, but he is joining Wolves.

0

02 Feb 2026 08:53:08
Disasi on loan is all we can expect today i think

0

02 Feb 2026 12:29:39
Agreed, a sure sign of our ambition!
