Potter Sacked
07 Sep 2025 16:01:30
Seemingly we could have had Charlie Cresswell in deadline day. Player was spoken to in length and his club wanted £16m but Sullivan was only willing to offer loan?
1.) 08 Sep 2025 06:47:30
If this is the case Sullivan needs to f**k off now because it’s taking the piss
02 Sep 2025 15:07:29
Seems me and a few thousand other fans have had about enough and lost patience with this board and sick and tired of the BS, the lies, deception, poor recruitment embarrassing PR Gaffs, broken promises and no accountability at board level. Sullivan does what sullivan wants to do
"Weve had enough" protests and boycotts are in the pipeline.
First at Marshgate Lane before Palace match and the Brentford game is going to be heavily boycotted.
1.) 02 Sep 2025 18:33:42
I think saying PR gaffs is being very generous. It’s a complete manipulation of the truth and trying to control everything they want us to hear. Fake interest in players that there is no serious intent to buy (think Jon Duran) . And continually leaking fake stories about certain players that are trouble makers and want to leave . Kudus, Alvarez and Paqueta . But there are so many of our fans and many that use this site and so gullible they immediately believe these rumours and start bad mouthing the players. People saying Paqueta is dog-sh*t . I think we all saw where his loyalties lie at least hopefully till the end of the season and what a performance he put in on Sunday.
Sullivan must be fuming that he couldn’t get him off the pay roll.
2.) 03 Sep 2025 06:19:00
Then you were not watching the same game as me. How many times did he fail to play a pass under 5 yards and nearly dropped us in it, and its not the first time.
When he was named motm I was amazed. Any other team he would've been off.
3.) 03 Sep 2025 06:20:14
But that's only my thoughts, if we all thought the same this site would be pointless
4.) 03 Sep 2025 07:18:35
Agreed Phil, we all have different opinions and long may it continue.
I think the point I am trying to make is that even though there is talk of protest and boycotts which is good. But the man has his people at it all the time and the minute they release one of these fake stories we automatically jump on the players backs. We should maybe just think about it a minute. We see that kissing the badge rubbish all the time and know it’s often not meant. But I feel in Paquettas case he was making a point. Sully wanted Paqueta sold to save on his wage bill. But instead of just saying that, these stories emerge about players not wanting to travel etc obviously it was true in Aguerd’s case. But he has been aiming at that for some time he has never really liked it at West Ham.
I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I I don’t believe the world is flat but I do think that sullys method of releasing all this rubbish is to divide and conquer the fan base to take the scrutiny off him.
Let’s hope the protests or boycotts bring a united front and they see that they aren’t pulling the wool over our eyes.
5.) 03 Sep 2025 08:36:03
All good players with flair often try things that don’t come off; that’s what flair is. I thought Dino had a magnificent game at Forest and should have been MOTM …. jointly with Paqueta who also had an excellent game. Obviously, Mac WAS watching a different game, or he was asleep when Paqueta did all the positive things! ?
6.) 03 Sep 2025 11:47:41
Yep, fell asleep Tin and kept waking up when Paq man kept giving the ball away.
Id have given it to Summerville cause he turned the game on its head
7.) 03 Sep 2025 14:30:25
One man’s meat…
Yup, I saw Paqueta try a few passes that went straight to the opposition too.
I also saw how hard he worked for the entire game. It was easy to miss that the third goal came from a solid Paqueta tackle that ricocheted out to Summerville.
He was everywhere.
I agree that he makes errors, but he can also do things on the pitch very few other players can.
8.) 03 Sep 2025 15:15:38
Mac3: “Yep, fell asleep Tin and kept waking up when Paq man kept giving the ball away.”
Just as I thought …. you didn’t see much of the game then! ?
Well said Markro. ??
9.) 03 Sep 2025 16:20:10
They put paqueta stats up on MOTD against forrest, and he was 1st in about 8 different metrics, ball recoveries, duels won, final third passes, chances created.
Watch the goals again at the beginning of everyone he won the ball.
He has a missed place pass now and again as does everyone the difference is with him he always trys to play forward.
Also the amount of times I've seen him have 2-3 players around him and some how he finds a way out is crazy, and they can do that because you don't really have to be worried about soucek or jwp on the ball.
Once we get magassa fernandes ans summerville in the team, paqueta will get even better.
10.) 03 Sep 2025 20:46:22
I thought Paqueta had a good game on Sunday but for me Mavrapanos was motm. The problem I have we Paqueta is one of consistency. He’ll play amazingly one week then like a lazy donkey the next. No doubting the boys got talent and that his problems off the pitch mitigate his erratic performances over the last 12 months however he now needs to pay back the club and his fans by performing to that standard much more regularly. We shall see …. The stats need improving
11.) 03 Sep 2025 22:08:44
Looking at Paqueta’s stats for Sunday, he’s already begun!
31 Aug 2025 20:40:16
Gossip going around, en nesyri (who scored twice) in fenerbahces most recent win is on his way to the Premier League. To West Ham!
Let's see if this materialises?
1.) 31 Aug 2025 21:51:53
I’ve just read we are going for cresswell for £12-15m, and put in a £25m loan to by deal for Hayden Hackney.
2.) 31 Aug 2025 21:54:40
En Nesyri is a proven, experienced goal scorer and would make a decent addition to our squad, though Wilson’s performance today might make Sullivan think twice now.
Some have suggested that En Nesyri is past it, but he only turned 28 in June.
If the price is sensible, he’s worth a shout. He would start ahead of Fullkrug and Wilson and from today’s performance I reckon Wilson might have moved himself ahead of Fullkrug as 2nd half sub.
3.) 01 Sep 2025 06:21:06
Get rid of Fulkrug, another bad buy
24 Aug 2025 18:50:44
Seemingly the board have now decided Paqueta can leave if a club ponies up £60m.
If we get £60m for him its job done.
1.) 24 Aug 2025 19:40:23
Where ya hearing this from Mac?
2.) 24 Aug 2025 23:20:05
Irving to Wrexham, Paqueta potentially on the way out, Rodriguez to Espanyol leaves us 2 midfielders WTF

It still amazes me that Potter who is a Premier League manager couldn't see where the problems were and continued playing JWP.
one game under Nuno and we were a different team without JWP
1.) 02 Oct 2025 11:08:10
I totally agree Mac. But I am trying to keep my feet on the ground as I remember when Potter was brought in, I didn’t want him but after such a desolate chaotic couple of months under Loppy, potters first match in charge ( even though we lost) felt like a breath of fresh air even to me he didn’t want potter. I saw an interview with him and he seemed to really get West Ham. But it didn’t take long for my origin feelings to return and am almost euphoric now that he is gone.
I’m much more in favour of Nuno than I was with potter but I just hope the initial good feeling lasts and it isn’t Groundhog Day.
2.) 02 Oct 2025 14:39:26
The bottom line is Graham Potter is NOT a Premiership manager. Never has been, and never will be. Everyone was fooled into believing he was because he was a cog in the wheel of a successful recruiting machine at Brighton. He was found out at Chelsea and then West Ham, but only after he’d successfully got paid millions. Can’t see another top flight team in this country taking him on.
3.) 03 Oct 2025 12:26:30
JWP has played averagely, we all know that, but in his defence, when we brought him he was pretty good. initally. He scored a few goals and played a more offensive role, which is his position. The problem is the club. We have Pacquets, Soucek, JWP who played the exact same position. We had Bowen and Kudus who played the exact same position. Surely, someone must realise if you buy an attacking midfielder then that is their position?
Furthermore, someone must have though Todibo could defend. and that's even stranger!
4.) 03 Oct 2025 12:40:19
If you want a really good laugh, read the article about Ward-Prowse written by Joe Stephenson on Football League World “Southampton urged to strike deal for West Ham outcast James Ward-Prowse”. It is highly indicative of how so far off the mark so-called pundits are about real football. It’s complete nonsense in my opinion.
5.) 03 Oct 2025 14:29:50
Just read it. Wow it beggars belief. But we had a manager who watched him in training and in matches week in week out and had him as the first name on the team sheet yet nearly most people on here realised he was garbage and holding us back early on.
I’m just surprised the article didn’t use the term dead ball specialist! A dead ball specialist who hasn’t scored from a dead ball for years
6.) 03 Oct 2025 15:32:56
JWP has and always will be a set piece merchant, the stats back that up. Take away penalties and set pieces he's one of the least effective players in most metrics. I hope Southampton are desperate enough and pay us something stupid to get him back.
30 Sep 2025 06:21:26
Wow what a different level of performance in 3 days.
Agreed with all of you. Bring Marshall in, give him a shot
Onwards and upwards. Now if only we had a decent striker lol
1.) 30 Sep 2025 09:41:45
Fullkrug has had enough chances and should be moved on in Jan for whatever we can get for him. We need a young, pacey striker so give marshall chances till jan
2.) 30 Sep 2025 17:08:59
⚒?Most of us all saying the same, what a great improvement?Fulkrug get rid, he clearly wants away as he was anonymous! Summerville magnificent, think Nuno was thinking of Saturday taking him off! Lots to look forward to now hopefully Potter gone, Nuno will now make them more resilient to corners and crosses and defensively as a whole? Not expecting us to suddenly leap into the top 6/8 by Xmas, but give us some decent performances and not have to be embarrassingly beaten by 4/5 goal margins! ⚒⚒⚒COYI
27 Sep 2025 10:44:27
Place your bets. I reckon marco silva
25 Sep 2025 20:09:33
It seems the board is split so KREZYNSKI has now stepped in and he wants Silva. Sullivan is unwilling to inject and more of his own money into the club but prefers a short term cheaper stop gap!
Hence the delay. I for one am happy to hear KREZYNSKI has finally stepped forward because I think he has had about enough also
24 Sep 2025 06:24:06
I genuinely don't think the board know wtf they are doing if they ever did?
KREZYNSKI stepping in is one of the more positive pieces of news we've had in a long time
11 Oct 2025 19:57:43
Again. Sooner he is gone the better
10 Oct 2025 10:55:03
Isnt that the West Ham way everybody. Remember, Sullivan loves a bargain basement deal!
08 Oct 2025 06:13:45
Gotta agree with you Joyful. I think we've all seen that if you play the sort of football Nuno will bring, you have to have serious pace up front, otherwise teams squeeze the pitch moving the back 4 up, confident we can't get behind them
Summerville is a good start, unfortunately it stops there.
As much as I love (and I know this is controversial) but I would sell Bowen if the right bid came (and that would have to be North of £100m)
Encouraging nuno wants Kendrick from Real Madrid and get rid of Fulkrug who am not convinced with
29 Sep 2025 16:42:17
Yep not even on the bus apparently. So i applaud Nuno straight away. Wonder if he will bring youth in or Rodriguez who, let's face it is rubbish!
27 Sep 2025 18:12:13
I like Nuno but it seems every manager we are getting is having problems with Fulkrug and Tobido in the main. Until they and couple of other trouble makers are gone, things won't change
Managers we have are good managers but we have a bad group of players.
I hope Nuno knows what he is doing?
08 Oct 2025 06:14:31
Kendrick has bags of pace which is what we need
04 Oct 2025 17:59:21
I'm hoping your right Tin. Never liked Tobido or his attitude. Get rid of the bad apples ?
As for JWP, we've been shouting he's rubbish for so long and nobody listened.
Finally Fulkrug and Wilson. Fulkrug is not cut out for the Premier league and wilson is past his prime
01 Oct 2025 19:34:51
I'll bet Nuno gets rid in January.
29 Sep 2025 16:44:53
On the money Tin. Couldn't agree more. Finally someone who realises JWP offers nothing.
Not worried if we lose tonight as long as there are smiles and we show little improvement
29 Sep 2025 14:46:55
Yeah that's really interesting. Seems from what I've read magassa and Fernandes will start in front of back 4
