I see you lot are having a fantastic season after spending millions in the summer, a few more wins and you could be pushing 10th place 😁.

The women’s team have given us something to look forward to at least.
Another season resigned to believing we should be doing better. At least there were a few decent performances thrown in there I suppose.
Can’t be spending much more I reckon and that’s probably a good thing given our recruitment history.

2.) 15 Apr 2019 07:42:33
Bucky, think you are a bit harsh on our Saturday performance, it was the best we have played since I can remember imo! We played with great energy and cannot fault anybody for lack of effort, Masuaku who has taken some real stick had a great game, no he can’t defend but he can fly down the flank with some decent crosses, so that’s his position for me in every game! can only say, it is Pellegrini’s first season, you have to get to know the team you have inherited, then assess what you have. I agree he made some awful signings imo but also some really good ones. Several were signed in desperation just to make up the squad numbers which I can understand! Sorry but can’t get enthusiastic about Women’s football, would rather cut my garden grass🤣 We need to recruit younger fitter signings, the oldies are knackered and can take longer to recover from knocks, yes they will cost more but we need a team than can sustain Premiership status and even more!

3.) 15 Apr 2019 10:07:06
Let’s hope we take points of off your lot meaning u miss out on champions league.

4.) 15 Apr 2019 11:05:17
Don’t worry we will it’s what we do! Anyone for lasagne :)

5.) 15 Apr 2019 18:11:04
Oh don’t get me wrong Chelmsford. Saturday was one of the positive performances I was speaking of. Whilst the result was not positive I believe that performance is more of what it is to be a West Ham. A very good effort after weeks of failing to achieve those standards against teams around us. Then failing to pull it off due in part to luck not being on our side. It’s classic West Ham and I loved it.

Masuaku I like and hope he finds his from from the first season under Bilic when he seemed to play so free and with more confidence. It’s up to the manager to get him performing again.

6.) 16 Apr 2019 23:21:48
quietly happy that people are starting to see the positive with Masuaku :-)

30 Sep 2018 20:40:10
Kings of Leon should make a new song in West Ham are on fire as you boys are are certainly on fire. I’m dreading our upcoming games at the Fatima whitbread stadium as I think you boys will turn us over twice next month. I said last season all West Ham need is a top manager and spend some money on top quality and the sky’s the limit for this sleeping giant. Boys I give it large on most sites but I’m also an honest poster and tell it how it is.

Thanks Raver. let's hope. But I am not as confident now Kane found his scoring boots again. we can but keep our fingers crossed.

25 Sep 2016 20:56:53
Ironmike what's going on at your club, this summer I bumped into ex west ham striker and I told him west ham would be the dark horses for top 4 and maybe higher.

the raver

1.) 25 Sep 2016 21:40:37
If we ever get going ( and I'm sure we will ) then did it why not :)

2.) 26 Sep 2016 11:21:08
It makes me laugh how we are reportedly being linked with a move for Fabregas? Surely our first priority has to be DEFENDERS! How many times do we have to say it. Our full backs are not good enough so the CB's are being pulled out wide to cover for their shortfalls leaving huge gaps in the centre as we are being ripped apart. NO challenge from midfield. Noble looks leggy, slow, bereft of ideas and dejected. Kouyate ain't much better! got to bring some young blood in and get rid of the summer rubbish we bought and WOW did we get some rubbish over the summer. TORE can go home (No wonder Turkey left him home for the Euro's) . Nordvedt needs to be let go on a free to anywhere (My under 8's team needs someone), Zaza is the worst and needs to be sent home NOW. If we pay £20m+ for him then am going to refuse to go to any more matches with my little lad because its our money they are wasting! If we don't cut off the life line they WON'T listen until of course we've played 28 games and then it will be far too late to do anything about it! WHat I keep asking is "If we fans can see these problems and these rubbish players, why on earth can't SLAVEN BILIC. He gets paid handsomely to constantly play crap players" WTF was NORDVEDT doing in the same CITY never mind same pitch?

3.) 26 Sep 2016 16:24:28
It'll be alright next week they've sent that patronising open letter to all the supporters again lol

On a more serious note we need to play 3 in centre of the park Fernandes, obiang and kouyate but bilic doesn't seem to want to try anything different.

4.) 26 Sep 2016 18:12:24
What would you have them do then Redrobbo2 just stay quiet and say nothing?
Stoke are in a similar predicament to us and nothing from their board, just silence.
I know which I prefer!

5.) 26 Sep 2016 22:33:19
Yeah but Swansea are expected to part ways with guidolin with giggs already being touted as replacement.

6.) 26 Sep 2016 23:51:45
Yes gerry I'd rather they said nothing instead of constantly talking rubbish it's been the same all summer, talked rubbish about transfers overspent on poor players, and now writing open letters, would rather they went about their business much more quietly instead of yapping and still not really saying anything, it insults our intellegence as supporters that they tell us they are trying to sort things out really? They've just had a transfer window chasing fantasy targets instead of seeing to the teams needs.

7.) 27 Sep 2016 09:00:41
I think there needs to be some sort of change in formation and definitely personel. I think zaza needs someone alongside him so maybe try 5-3-2, put Oxford in with Reid and ogbonna and then our full backs have extra cover behind if they go forward. We then have to sacrifice lanzini I believe for now and have some legs in midfield kouyate and obiang and settle for one flair player being payet. Noble as someone said looks well out of sorts and off the pace this year. Zaza has looked poor but he is so isolated up front, I don't thibk he's a player that can play up top on his own.

8.) 27 Sep 2016 09:02:09
And as much as I love antonio, he was at fault for a couple of the goals the other day not tracking his man. He needs to learn his defensive responsibilities before he comes back in the team.

9.) 27 Sep 2016 11:03:52
Hammer316, I like your thinking. Agreed about Antonio also but how about this? As Zaza is struggling, how about starting with Antonio up front :-) Payet/ feghouli and or Lanzini in behind him. Play Oxford Edmilson and Obiang (am resting Kouyate and Noble) in front of back 5 with three CB's and the two full backs? See how it pans out and if it don't work change it :-)

10.) 27 Sep 2016 11:11:48
Woops that's 12 including the goalie. I would play 5-3-1-1 with Edmilson, Obiang and Oxford in front of our 3 CB's allowing Byram and Arbeloa/ Cresswell to go forward with Payet supporting Antonio.

11.) 28 Sep 2016 21:30:26
Yh could work. We need to do something to make us more solid. With payet we will always create chances, we should focus on stabilising defensively and if that means we sacrifice an attacking player or 2 then so be it to get some confidence back in the team.

Great start to the season for the pie and mash brigade 🤣😂🤣.

the raver

1.) 10 Aug 2019 20:15:14
MP said at the after match low down that the score flattered CITY and they weren't 5 goals between the teams there's the problem with MP he's watching the wrong game they were miles better than us and HALLER looked disinterested already worrying times even this early especially with NOBLE to come to our saviour.

2.) 10 Aug 2019 23:26:12
See you posted that after your win in case you lot slipped up raver CITY will do that and more to a whole host of clubs especially the teams that go at them anyway we can only go one way now raver you weren't great first half and I wasn't impressed with your record signing just a slight upgrade on sissoko but he needs time to adjust and he scored which is more than we did . I'm just going to get another helping of pie and mash with that lovely green covering of sauce . COYI.

3.) 11 Aug 2019 09:14:05
I´m still astonished that we have a natural born winger in Masuaku and we don´t play him there instead we play right footed players whether it be Anderson, Lanzini or Antonio!

Masuaku is left footed, can beat a man to the byline we all know that with his trickery and not keep cutting inside, can deliver a decent cross, will track back and put his foot in, decent pace, its a no brainer and would bring more balance to the team

He´d be a dream for Haller!

i don´t get it, it´s an absolute waste!

4.) 11 Aug 2019 11:25:51
Costa, I couldn’t agree more, we know he’s not a defender, I find it completely baffling when posters continually slate his defending abilities, if MP sits him in the LB position it’s hardly Arthur’s fault, most non auto choices would be happy to play where selected within reason? For all the good pre season write ups JW got, he had his usual non contributory game, can only play in pretend games when you don’t want to get stuck in! I am trying to be a believer but he’s rubbish, no way a Premiership player, still living on his form 3/ 4 years ago, possibly not a game to judge him on but I have never seen JW break sweat in a game, lazy so&so like Hernandez👎👎⚒⚒⚒.

5.) 11 Aug 2019 12:06:38
Whorya 48 fully agree with you mate, city will be doing damage to a lot of clubs this season and we could be on to a hiding ourselves next week. Agree we were poor yesterday but think we will improve and have lots of top players out yesterday in Ali, lo celso, son, vertonghen etc, I still feel West ham will be pushing for a European place come May and the raver was just having a bit of banter yesterday mate,

6.) 11 Aug 2019 13:14:55
I reckon we should start playing back 3 with 2 up front.

7.) 12 Aug 2019 23:10:17
Point taken raver your not a bad lad I play golf with my pal who's a spurs fan and he's a top lad I know it was banter mate but after the weekend we both need to improve at least you got the 3 points mate but after the result BHA got against Watford I don't fancy us going to their place anyway have a good Un raver. COYI.

01 Nov 2018 11:42:44
It’s happened again it’s happened again West Ham Utd, 24 hours rest and 10 players missing and you still couldn’t win the cup final, I’m now cruising in the Subaru with cockney rejects on the sounds system heading for a pie and mash shop to celebrate this fantastic win😎.

the raver

1.) 01 Nov 2018 12:56:48
Not sure where you get 10 from Raver, I saw 5 FIRST ELEVEN players start the game for Spurs last night, and only ONE of that starting eleven started the match on Monday vs Man City.
Once again West Ham matched or even bettered Spurs this season but came out with a defeat. Fair play to Spurs, they simply have better squad depth and forwards with quality end product, well done to them for taking the chances given to them by second string West Ham defenders.
Enjoy the pie and mash :)

2.) 01 Nov 2018 14:23:13
Nickiinho, it really doesn’t matter what team played whatever players, that’s the managers decision on who is available! Spurs have a far superior strength in depth squad than we have despite us spending £100m, when you have chances falling to players like Hernandez and Antonio, neither of who on present form should even be on the bench, what more can you expect? Hernandez in my view is an embarrassment considering his experience, at least try to look like you care, more interested in looking pretty with his highlights!

3.) 01 Nov 2018 17:25:18
YES spurs are a country mile ahead on squad depth. At this time we CANNOT compete with them, we also have no one except Arnie to put away the many chances we create. IRONMIKE.

4.) 02 Nov 2018 08:00:46
I said months ago before the season started Pellegrini was like a kid in a sweetshop not knowing who or what to buy! at the moment I feel vindicated in saying that, I also said we needed players with more Premiership experience or who at least resided here as settling in a foreign country must prove difficult for some? Out of all the signings we have 2 outstanding, Diop and Balbuena, that in my view is catastrophic decision making but as the season is still young let’s hope things radically improve! We will not know about Yarmelenko as he has been cut short, players rarely come back better after such as a long term injury imo! Anderson for £40m, well yes bags of talent but far, far to inconsistent for that price tag, runs away from a tackle, so a lightweight for me, Diangana streets in front who is one of our own, could have saved £40m on him alone! all the other signings in my view no more than Championship at best, poor, poor decision making by whoever decided we should sign these! We should have bought fewer, that are better quality that may have been available at the time!

5.) 02 Nov 2018 08:08:49
Sorry on previous post about poor signings, I didn’t include Fabianski in our outstanding signings, brilliant keeper for £7m and I also thought so at the time as at Swansea he was outstanding even though they were relegated, they would have been candidates far earlier last season had they not had him in goal!

6.) 02 Nov 2018 12:00:52
Hiya Chelmsford hope your well mate what's your views on ARNAUTOVIC as I think he's odds on to leave in January and long odds on IMO as I think UTD and CHELSKI will come in for him and that is sure to turn his head but one thing we cannot do is give him away I'd ask for DRINKWATER and £35 million I know he's the wrong end of thirty but he's top draw and SANCHEZ went to UTD for about 35 mill and on current form ARNIE is head and shoulders above him IMO and they are about the same age just wondered what everyone thought as I rate ARNIE right up there in the top 3 strikers in premiership and I'm not over rating him he's suprised me this year how good he really is. COYI.

7.) 02 Nov 2018 16:00:51
Whorya, great mate thanks, hope you and all the family’s the ssme👍 I agree he is in the top layer of strikers in. the Premiership on his day, also agree unfortunately that he will go, thought he would go in the last window when he was on fire and the press were all over him! He is priceless to us, I would say almost irreplaceable, but cannot as an outsider cannot see what incentive he has to stay when realistically he only has 1 more big signing on fee left in his career! I just hope he feels the love and adoration of the fans that he gets after such a relatively short time with us, hopefully that may help in keeping him! All clubs have to get over losing outstanding players, but he has been a revelation in my view, just to have him there must really terrify some defenders! You know when he’s playing we at least have a chance, but we simply cannot rely so heavily on one player, it puts extra pressure on them as well!

8.) 02 Nov 2018 19:23:26
Same to our mate all good big game tomorrow it's a game we should win but we are West ham the first goal in this game is crucial I know its cliche but if they get they will strangle the life out of the game and make life extremely difficult but we will see one thing for sure Chelmsford it's never dull being a hammer. COYI.

9.) 02 Nov 2018 20:43:13
Anderson was a statement of intent and I believe he will come good. I don't think as a team we have been aloud to settle due to injuries and lots of new players don't think this would have helped him either, wait untill lanzini is back to he will link up all our attacking players nicely. Fab diop and balbuena have all settled in nicely, Fredericks good cover at rb for zaba and he's a good age. Wilshere was always a risk and never really got going. Sanchez was a cheap buy and for me a squad player that does what it says on the tin unfortunate injury but rice is the man there. Overall not a bad window at all but really can't afford any more injuries. We strengthen in Jan it's clear we need strengthened in the middle of the park would love to see us sign a top midfielder.

10.) 03 Nov 2018 06:47:52
Iron. A194, only one for me at the moment that would be a possibility if available is Shelvey, local lad, would jump at t (e chance I think if allowed to move, great vision, can score goals, above all tough, we need those that can get struck in when the going gets tough!

11.) 03 Nov 2018 09:28:23
Forgot about Shelvey he ticks a lot of the right boxes I'd take him can't see rafa wanting to sell him the fans would be in up roar too. That being said Mike Ashley doesn't seem to care and seems happy to turn a profit on players although massive risk of relegation if they sold us Shelvey in January.

We know how hard it is to sign players in January but hopefully we can pull it off.

20 Oct 2018 20:13:49
Danny dier, Ray winstone, mark fowler, you boys have been turned over again by The Tottenham boys, I’ve celebrated with a good old pie and mash before I head off into London in the Subaru with a big Jamaican reefer and crowded house on the sounds system in always take lamela with you 😛.

the raver

1.) 20 Oct 2018 22:26:11
Hope you get food poisoning from the food
Your car brakes down and yr reefer is crap.

2.) 21 Oct 2018 00:15:36
Cmon raver you can come out with better than mark Fowler. he's fictional mate, but smoking that stuff is why you've got no intelligence or brain cells mate. even if you were having a giggle, I really don't think it's funny mate. that's why we have people with paranoia and mental health issues because of that rubbish you smoke. innocent people get killed through people who are paranoid and stab innocent citizens through smoking drugs so try and find that other brain cell you might have to have a giggle about boy. COYI.

3.) 21 Oct 2018 16:11:31
ARP, I had a fantastic day, the Subaru runs smoother than a baby’s bottom, the pie and mash was fantastic even had it in the east end 😀 and the reefer was got me nice and chilled before I wrecked my liver in London’s west end last night and ended up in the Premier Inn this morning after a heavy session - And Lenny Henry has the cheek to say you get a good nights sleep in this hotel. As for Mark Fowler I met him a few years ago and was a lovely bloke and a West Ham fanatic, that’s why I mentioned him. he’s no different to Winstone and Dier who are poor actors in crap films.

4.) 22 Oct 2018 00:17:24
Just promise to eat some lasagne for dinner :)

17 Sep 2018 20:13:21
I bet The jellied eels and pie and mash tasted much better last night for your suffering fans, you played very well yesterday against a good side and the raver predicted a top 6 finish for you boys in the summer. I always root for West Ham twice a season against Chelsea and Arsenal so don’t let me down next week.

the raver

1.) 18 Sep 2018 08:07:48
😂😂Well done rave, I love it, what gives me a chuckle is I so love Jellied Eels and Pie and Mash😂😂I thought we were fantastic on Sunday in all areas, we have at least 2 classy feisty front men now in Arnie and Yarmelenko that are capable of frightening the life out of the best of teams, as long as we don’t have to resort to the damp expensive quibs Mexican Pete and lame duck ex Arsenal passenger, we have the had the team on Sunday that look like they want to win, best I have seen us for years, might even give your boys a decent game😂😂 Thought keeper Vorn looked very nervy on the highlights I saw, was Lloris’s omission a disciplinary thing or injury? Never understood these overpaid players drinking and driving, what pricks they are, to f———- mean or stupid to pay for a Taxi? .

2.) 19 Sep 2018 00:01:14
Vorm is utter crap and spurs will struggle for top 6 imo, I agree about Lloris just get the big red bus home as it’s much cheaper and safer, I take the Subaru to stringfellows and other seedy nightclubs every weekend but always leave it parked up until Sunday morning after a heavy session and it saves me loads of money with women, no premier inns at 70 quid a night just my back seats in the Subaru free of charge 😎.

02 Sep 2018 11:18:05
Jeez what’s going on at the pie and mash, Hugo Lloris has more points on his driving licence than West Ham United 😂😂.

the raver

1.) 02 Sep 2018 12:36:12
Raver love it, keep it coming we deserve it😂😂 confession, I was Spur as kid before I was converted to a Hammer from about 10, oops trouble now⚒⚒⚒😂😂😂😂.

2.) 02 Sep 2018 12:36:59
Raver I got to give it to you your boys were brilliant against Utd and ours have been the total antipathy all season well all 4 games of it anyway as D ream said flings can only get better.

3.) 02 Sep 2018 12:53:34
Raver, I don't know how Spurs do it, most of their players were at the World Cup but they still look miles fitter than our boys, we are just awful at the moment, all the best mate.

4.) 02 Sep 2018 22:06:06
We have totally lost our way in a combination of desperation and aspiration I absolutely hate what is happening at the. Moment, there are no quick fixes to our problems most of which are totally self inflicted IRONMIKE.

5.) 02 Sep 2018 23:50:57
Lads just having banter, I actually don’t mind West Ham and dislike the other London clubs more, you will be fine in a few weeks once the new signings bed in and think you will still push the top 6.
