Ex reporting Just Walking Pace is not even in tonight’s squad.

Good, if true.

Markro

1.) 29 Sep 2025 16:42:17
Yep not even on the bus apparently. So i applaud Nuno straight away. Wonder if he will bring youth in or Rodriguez who, let's face it is rubbish!

2.) 29 Sep 2025 17:15:52
If he want an easy way to get fans onside stick posts in

3.) 29 Sep 2025 17:16:23
Potts!

29 Aug 2025 22:14:49
Magassa done. Official on the WHUFC website.

Markro

1.) 29 Aug 2025 22:27:12
Done by Noon?

2.) 29 Aug 2025 23:36:11
DOES NOT APPEAR SO, he cannot play on Sunday, in that case

29 Aug 2025 10:01:59
Fernandes confirmed.

In time for Sunday?

Markro

1.) 29 Aug 2025 10:37:51
Has to be registered before 12pm today. Hopefully we can get Magassa announced and registered before then.

2.) 29 Aug 2025 11:42:55
Pleased we got fernades to be honest he could be a real star

3.) 29 Aug 2025 12:10:16
Agreed, but to throw him in at the deep end against Forest might be asking too much of him this soon. However, we are desperate and so is Potter. Based on what we have right now, it’s not ideal, but on Sunday I’d like to see
Areola
AWB
Scarles
Mavropanos
Todibo
Potts
Fernandes
Diouf
Paqueta
Bowen
Füllkrug
But that’s not going to happen. I think this game will be won or lost in midfield.

4.) 29 Aug 2025 12:30:08
Totally agree with the above teamsheet tbh. We desperately need a centre back who can head a ball though. Once the decision was made to loan out casey (i agree with it) we shoulda been in the market for a centre back.

But the above formation works - 4-2-3-1

5.) 29 Aug 2025 13:28:17
The above set up/line up looks decent but Unless potter has had an epiphany you can almost be certain it will be 5.3.2 or 5.4.1

6.) 29 Aug 2025 22:33:04
Predicted
No hands
KWP
Todibo
Mavro
Kilman
Diouf
Just Walking Pace
Rodders
Fernandes
Bowen
Paqman

28 Aug 2025 18:36:02
So we’re after both Garcia (Leverkeusen) and Timber, but Leverkeusen are also after Timber to replace Garcia, if he leaves.

How does that work out?

Markro

1.) 29 Aug 2025 09:43:40
Leverkusen will get Timber and we will get Garcia me thinks

28 Aug 2025 09:22:28
Fernandes now back on?

Markro

1.) 28 Aug 2025 09:55:36
Looks like a £42m deal agreed

2.) 28 Aug 2025 09:57:06
Deal agreed medical done yesterday, Magassa still progessing. We are also still trying to do a deal for Quinten Timber.

3 in
3 out
Irvin
Rodriguez
Alavrez

This goes a long way to fixing our midfield

My worry is they will use this to justify selling Paqueta

3.) 28 Aug 2025 10:55:08
Can we send JWP back to Southampton as part of the deal

4.) 28 Aug 2025 11:01:31
If we pull that little lot off with 2-4 loans with options or obligations

Victor GK
Ake Def
Gueye F
Sangare M

Above being my choice, then we’ll have no excuses. As for Potter ….I was in the give the guy a full transfer window before judging camp however Tuesday night nailed him for me. He could have started a couple of the youth, at least Potts instead of either JWP or Rodrigues and/or put them on when we were 2:1 up . The guy really is clueless and obstinate and as many others have said on here keeps playing the same way in the hope that something will change. One saving grace is like TL said in a previous post Man Utd are as bad as is their manager who many people wanted on here. As for his replacement Schmid (who I admit to knowing nothing about) seems to have a good CV, Ange would bring back a bit of fun although would still probably take us down, Terzic who at least knows the club and again has a decent CV or Lampard who I know upset a lot of people but knows the club and the league. At this stage I’d take any of them

5.) 28 Aug 2025 11:02:20
Midfield will look a lot stronger. Still worrying defensively none of our centre backs can header a ball and we don't have anyone to score goals either

Any truth to the Endrick rumours?

With Paq, Igor and Guilherme, plus Fernandes and Nuno, he’d have plenty of folk to speak to.

Markro

1.) 07 Oct 2025 09:13:56
That plus a load of other forwards on a long loan list, Endrik on many clubs radar, you ask yourself how we started this season without a proper forward, just ridiculous, Nuno will do his best, but if we can’t score goals, we are in trouble that’s it

2.) 08 Oct 2025 06:14:31
Kendrick has bags of pace which is what we need

3.) 08 Oct 2025 12:33:43
SPOT on, and that ties in with post on Rumours

30 Sep 2025 11:20:20
In the cold light of morning, I’m still a damned sight more optimistic than I was a couple of days ago.

Markro

1.) 30 Sep 2025 12:34:41
Be interesting to see how we do against arsenal after he's had a full week, wouldn't have been my first choice appointment but second half especially we were much better last night, hopefully a weeks training he can improve our defending

28 Sep 2025 21:41:38
Nuno is a proven and successful manager in the PL. He knows what he is doing. Can he make it work with our current squad and overcome its frailties. We’ll see.

Markro

1.) 29 Sep 2025 05:56:47
It will be very interesting to see if he can get the same players playing with some belief. It will also be interesting to see if AWB stomach problem miraculously clears up ready for tonight’s game. As I think the last manager alienated many of our players and the many of the better players too. It would be great to see some good team spirit.

2.) 29 Sep 2025 09:06:13
Some good team espirito santos …. sorry that was s**t! ??

3.) 29 Sep 2025 10:23:15
Nuno it wasn’t! ?

4.) 29 Sep 2025 12:40:06
Boom boom as the legendary Basil Brush would say ?

5.) 29 Sep 2025 13:43:57
I hope he’s a success and we don’t start calling him NO-NO ?

19 Sep 2025 21:38:30
I keep mentioning Will Still, a fanatic WH supporter and a real live wire on the training ground.

Markro

1.) 20 Sep 2025 08:59:30
I thought that Markro but have to say he isn’t exactly tearing up trees at Southampton although it is early days

2.) 20 Sep 2025 12:51:16
He needs more experience in English foogball.

15 Sep 2025 10:40:53
Dump Potter immediately. Keeping him is literally pointless.

Put Noble in charge temporarily and give the club plenty of time to seek a new manager/head coach.

Markro

1.) 15 Sep 2025 12:49:56
Noble has been asked previously, he has categorically asked not to be involved outside the dressing room, he doesn’t want that responsibility
But he may be persuaded to work, up front with a new manager in place, that is a small possibility
As you know, informal talks with Ipswich manager have taken place, I understand a meeting has been arranged, with De Santo at Sullivans home, and strangely enough, Oneils name has crept in, ? and of course, there’s many others
Whomever comes in, all the blame will be on Potter as a scapegoat, but WH as a club, can’t keep on like this
It can only end badly

2.) 15 Sep 2025 13:08:33
With a few managers out of work Sullivan wouldn’t go for a manager already at another club it would mean paying potter off and also paying compensation for a manager at another club, don’t think Sullivan would do that when Nuno and Mourinho are sitting there.

3.) 15 Sep 2025 15:03:05
I have this gut feeling that there’ll be some movement in the boardroom soon. Whether it’s Brady, Sullivan or Kretinsky, I don’t know, but I can’t see anything happening on the manager front before that.

4.) 15 Sep 2025 16:24:58
How could MOURINHO work alongside POISON DWARF and LADY PENELOPE do me a favour that is so far from a match made in heaven

5.) 15 Sep 2025 17:52:03
Be an interesting watch though?

6.) 16 Sep 2025 12:03:52
That disaster waiting to happen is the last thing this club needs right now, spectacle or not.

One man’s meat…

Yup, I saw Paqueta try a few passes that went straight to the opposition too.

I also saw how hard he worked for the entire game. It was easy to miss that the third goal came from a solid Paqueta tackle that ricocheted out to Summerville.

He was everywhere.

I agree that he makes errors, but he can also do things on the pitch very few other players can.

I have read that the club wanted to accept the Villa offer, but that Paqueta said he was staying.

Such a different story from those that said he wanted to go and had refused to play v Forest.

Do not sell Paqueta this season. Fernandes will bring the best out of him.

En Nesyri is a proven, experienced goal scorer and would make a decent addition to our squad, though Wilson’s performance today might make Sullivan think twice now.

Some have suggested that En Nesyri is past it, but he only turned 28 in June.

If the price is sensible, he’s worth a shout. He would start ahead of Fullkrug and Wilson and from today’s performance I reckon Wilson might have moved himself ahead of Fullkrug as 2nd half sub.
