Guys, quick question - what has happened with Danny Ings?
Honestly a lot of us on the Liverpool pages were devastated he didn't make it due to 2 horrible injuries - at Burnley he looked like he had all the attributes to make it - hard working, good presser etc and truthfully he always came across as a genuinely nice bloke so you always hoped it would work out for him
What has happened him at West Ham? Not having a dig at West Ham lads, just honestly curious why it hasn't worked out - is it him personally or does he play not suit the tactics type thing?
Appreciate any answers and big congratulations again for the win, was honestly great to see you do so well in Europe!
On a different note, I also loved seeing the 2 fans defend everybody in the semi-final when the opposition fans tried to storm into that section - fairly kept the high ground lol - great job that was!

Bill, I saw Ings make one perfectly timed run from midfield all half-season. Granted he was a sub for a lot of time but when he was on it was 12v10. His touch and padding was poor and often passed directly to oppo. Lucky for us Antonio put in some good shifts so we didn’t need the cover but that’s what January insurance buts are for.

Bill, I previously have always rated Ings right up to him at Villa, yes he has had injury problems which we all know, but the majority of ⚒fans on this site thoroughly dislike the Moyes style of setting up for a draw and hoping to score on counter attacks, then only have a plan A and no others when it’s not going right?
This has possibly affected Ings as well as he’s been totally inept since joining us?
Moyes is still playing as he did when the Board took him on several seasons ago to save us from relegation, which he successfully did, then they ruthlessly dismissed him to take on Pelligrini who was a failure as he thought he was back at ManC!
In all honesty I thought our board on the occasion they wanted nothing further to do with Moyes, after keeping us up was disgraceful and I believe the reason he is still here is they wanted to give him more of a chance this time around?
Yes it was great winning the Europa Conference Cup, that will always be on the Moyes CV, but what, just what if we had not avoided relegation, I certainly would not have considered that a successful season, PL is every teams bread and butter! Some of our signings have been a disgrace and money down the drain, we all know who they are, we threw away more money than was ever earned from our Euro trophy win!

Aye I get what yous are saying lads, truthfully you looked like you would make top 7 type there a while back then faded away - is that just Moyes being Moyes or did Europe play a factor? Not easy managing a squad to cope on all fronts
That sad kib, he always looked a player that would put an absolute shift in every game no matter what - I hope he gets back to what he is capable of for you. Like you Chelmsford, I always rated him - hopefully Moyes gets a proper tune out of his side this season, but I agree with what you say, club definitely came too close to relegation

Lads, hearing rumours you are apparently opening to selling Rice - big amount yes, but could apparently be interested in players in the deal?
Not sure if that is true but heard Arsenal really want him and would exchange - would any of you take Balogun? Kid looks like he could be a cracker and Henry really rates him
Best of luck in the final lads, I've a mate has supported West Ham about 50 odd years now and would love it for him if yous did it

Bill, been an open secret for a long time time Rice and the Arsenal connection, we’re all resigned to the fact that it’s a done deal! I just hope we get the right fee for him, don’t care who we may get or not get from as p/x for him as I don’t know enough about their lesser known players. All I know is any club will inflate their value of possible p/x’s!
He owes WH nothing, he has earned it all himself and he has conducted himself in an utmost professional manner amongst all the rumours, I know all ⚒ fans will wish him the best wherever he goes, he will be missed massively, irreplaceable?A Rice type rarely comes along and we’ve been very lucky to have him “ Good Luck Dec ?” Many great years still to come from him yet with club and Country⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

Well said Chelmsford, 100% he owes us nothing, been the number professional player through all this transfer speculation, if I could ask for one thing from him it would be to bring that trophy home, good luck lads.

Liverpool fan here, yous were absolutely robbed. Was a clear goal and the play acting by Mendy was a disgrace, seen the Villa one too fs - how can VAR get these calls so wrong? Every punter watching replays can see the right call but again and again VAR make the wrong one, how inept does it have to get before its fixed?
