Ironmike what's going on at your club, this summer I bumped into ex west ham striker and I told him west ham would be the dark horses for top 4 and maybe higher.

If we ever get going ( and I'm sure we will ) then did it why not :)

2.) 26 Sep 2016 11:21:08
It makes me laugh how we are reportedly being linked with a move for Fabregas? Surely our first priority has to be DEFENDERS! How many times do we have to say it. Our full backs are not good enough so the CB's are being pulled out wide to cover for their shortfalls leaving huge gaps in the centre as we are being ripped apart. NO challenge from midfield. Noble looks leggy, slow, bereft of ideas and dejected. Kouyate ain't much better! got to bring some young blood in and get rid of the summer rubbish we bought and WOW did we get some rubbish over the summer. TORE can go home (No wonder Turkey left him home for the Euro's) . Nordvedt needs to be let go on a free to anywhere (My under 8's team needs someone), Zaza is the worst and needs to be sent home NOW. If we pay £20m+ for him then am going to refuse to go to any more matches with my little lad because its our money they are wasting! If we don't cut off the life line they WON'T listen until of course we've played 28 games and then it will be far too late to do anything about it! WHat I keep asking is "If we fans can see these problems and these rubbish players, why on earth can't SLAVEN BILIC. He gets paid handsomely to constantly play crap players" WTF was NORDVEDT doing in the same CITY never mind same pitch?

3.) 26 Sep 2016 16:24:28
It'll be alright next week they've sent that patronising open letter to all the supporters again lol

On a more serious note we need to play 3 in centre of the park Fernandes, obiang and kouyate but bilic doesn't seem to want to try anything different.

4.) 26 Sep 2016 18:12:24
What would you have them do then Redrobbo2 just stay quiet and say nothing?
Stoke are in a similar predicament to us and nothing from their board, just silence.
I know which I prefer!

5.) 26 Sep 2016 22:33:19
Yeah but Swansea are expected to part ways with guidolin with giggs already being touted as replacement.

6.) 26 Sep 2016 23:51:45
Yes gerry I'd rather they said nothing instead of constantly talking rubbish it's been the same all summer, talked rubbish about transfers overspent on poor players, and now writing open letters, would rather they went about their business much more quietly instead of yapping and still not really saying anything, it insults our intellegence as supporters that they tell us they are trying to sort things out really? They've just had a transfer window chasing fantasy targets instead of seeing to the teams needs.

7.) 27 Sep 2016 09:00:41
I think there needs to be some sort of change in formation and definitely personel. I think zaza needs someone alongside him so maybe try 5-3-2, put Oxford in with Reid and ogbonna and then our full backs have extra cover behind if they go forward. We then have to sacrifice lanzini I believe for now and have some legs in midfield kouyate and obiang and settle for one flair player being payet. Noble as someone said looks well out of sorts and off the pace this year. Zaza has looked poor but he is so isolated up front, I don't thibk he's a player that can play up top on his own.

8.) 27 Sep 2016 09:02:09
And as much as I love antonio, he was at fault for a couple of the goals the other day not tracking his man. He needs to learn his defensive responsibilities before he comes back in the team.

9.) 27 Sep 2016 11:03:52
Hammer316, I like your thinking. Agreed about Antonio also but how about this? As Zaza is struggling, how about starting with Antonio up front :-) Payet/ feghouli and or Lanzini in behind him. Play Oxford Edmilson and Obiang (am resting Kouyate and Noble) in front of back 5 with three CB's and the two full backs? See how it pans out and if it don't work change it :-)

10.) 27 Sep 2016 11:11:48
Woops that's 12 including the goalie. I would play 5-3-1-1 with Edmilson, Obiang and Oxford in front of our 3 CB's allowing Byram and Arbeloa/ Cresswell to go forward with Payet supporting Antonio.

11.) 28 Sep 2016 21:30:26
Yh could work. We need to do something to make us more solid. With payet we will always create chances, we should focus on stabilising defensively and if that means we sacrifice an attacking player or 2 then so be it to get some confidence back in the team.

Ironmike it's Ching Ching time from the bookies for you mate and I hope you spend it wisely, you are more than welcome to join the raver at Stringfellows for a beer or ten. As for bilic going I do feel for the bloke a bit as he was West ham through and through. I thought he was going to do a good job for you boys but I think it started falling apart when payet left the club. As for a new manager why not give redknapp another go as he would take you boys close to the champions league as he did it with spurs with a bang average side at the time. I also heard Alan Devonshire has done a brilliant job at non league so he could be redknapps assistant manager.

Thanks for the invite Raver, very nice thought mate, I WILL take up your offer. BUT I am busy lizzy at this time at end of the season PERHAPS? Regards IRONMIKE.

2.) 06 Nov 2017 21:47:38
Raver you seem to be here a lot, are you closet Westham? Come out mate and join the family.

02 Nov 2017 10:38:36
Any of you boys enjoyed watching spurs stuff the biggest club in world football last night lol.

the raver

1.) 02 Nov 2017 13:12:45
I did watch Raver and was not overly impressed, we all know Real are on the way down, ZZ will be sacked before long so you played them at the best time.

Oh did you see the biggest club in the World at Wembley last week?, 2 goals up at half time against a second string WH team and your bottle went. ahhhhhh I said to my Mrs a few years back that every time we beat Spurs I would treat her. costing me a bloody fortune!

2.) 02 Nov 2017 14:25:39
I thought Spurs were superb. I hope that they go a lot further in the champions league.

3.) 02 Nov 2017 14:46:01
Hi Raver, Spurs played very well, and took their chances and there were plenty of them, NO DISCREDIT to Spurs but Madrid are nowhere near the team that won this competition. Last year, but you can only beat what’s in front of you IRONMIKE.

4.) 02 Nov 2017 14:56:12
Warrington spurs must have saved you some cash a few weeks ago at the Daley Thompson stadium as we beat you 3-2 in the league lol.

5.) 03 Nov 2017 10:12:47
Yes Raver your right, the mighty Spurs hung on desperately after being 3 up, thanks for that. All joking aside you do have a very decent team, and as long as Levy puts his hand in his pocket you may be able to keep it all together

The problem lie is when Poch gets offered the Madrid Job and decides he wants Kane and Ali along side a few others will the pound signs start to reflect in Levy eyes?

The problem I see is as soon as the manager goes and takes your most influential players with him, you may find your back to square 1, as I don't think Levy will page the wages to replace your best players. still enjoy while it lasts,

6.) 03 Nov 2017 10:56:55
Fully agree with you Seymour, we've always been a selling club and that won't stop until you get owners like Chelsea etc where money is no object. I do think that the manager, Kane and Ali will be gone within 2 years time.

25 Oct 2017 22:00:12
Well done on your cup final win against your mighty neighbours, when you pulled 1 back I knew you would go on and win the game as we still have a soft underbelly which I thought we got rid of. It shouldn't take spurs to up your game as you should be putting those performances in week in week out . As I'm a honest poster I give stick and I always take it back in great strides so well done boys.

Much respect raver Spuds are a good team but still lack something to turn them into a great side. For us it means nothing if we lose on Saturday against Palace. Thanks for maybe kick starting our season. COYI.

23 Sep 2017 17:48:49
Ray Winstone, Danny dyer, Russell brand, Jeremy Kyle you boys had the runaround against this class spurs side again. If we had 11 men we would have put 5 or 6 on you today but nevermind that was win puts us back in the top 4 while you are back in your usual place the bottom 3 lol. I'm off out tonight to get absolutely smashed in London so I will line my stomach with a good old pie and mash.

the raver

1.) 23 Sep 2017 20:45:25
I hope you do get absolutely smashed!
what are spurs? You don't win prem or champs league so what is it you do for a BIG club? Man city, utd and chelsea would have held out easy against us today with 10 men but you bricked it!
Get a big stadium for a year and your players don't know what to do lol, we admit we are pony that's why we are always here moaning so very well done for winning lol.

2.) 25 Sep 2017 13:05:25
And then you've just ruined it to say you were 5-6 goals better than us is utter bollocks before you scored you hadn't made hart work once and we had 3 valid penalty shouts which one was a definitely penalty and watch when KANE gets injured your well and truly bang in trouble mate we've played city united and you and you are well and truly miles behind them and next year KANE and ALI heads will be turned and offered astronomical wages and they will go and by the way don't try and sign lanzini because you'd be backtracking. COYI.

I see Karen Brady mouthing off about spurs calling them bargain basement hunters, I think she's jealous we strengthened again yesterday with serge aurier and Fernando llorente and gomes wanted to join spurs instead of bottom of the league west ham. Mrs. Brady when your club gets into the champions league it's easier to sign top players you should try it one day. Has for bargain hunters didn't she get the Daley Thompson stadium for free from the taxpayers due to her being in government beep beep beep.

1.) 01 Sep 2017 12:48:06
Grow up Raver

Whats has the Stadium got to do with it, sounds like the green eyed monster has ventured into you thoughts

If you want to blame anyone blame who ever negotiated on behalf of the council not WH,

Enjoy the Champions League, and make the most of it you won't be there for a long while after this season.

2.) 01 Sep 2017 13:38:05
Raver the reports from Spain state that Gomes wanted to join us rather than Spurs. But you are right you have added well to your squad. However be wary of the curse of the new stadium. You could well find yourself suffering like we did last year as it's a huge adjustment playing in s new stadium even if yours is in the same place. As for getting it for free I can't think of any club that would turn it down. After all, you tried hard enough to get it. As for bargain hunters yes we probably are but then again we didn't waste £85 million on players like Spurs did when they sold Bale.
We will probably never be at the same level you are. Then again you will always only ever be in the shadow of Arsenal so it's all relative.

3.) 01 Sep 2017 16:06:40
Fully agree with you fluke, we will struggle at the new stadium and definitely wasted the bale money, I agree about having a stadium for free no club would turn it down. I also think your owners have mugged you fans off by promising top players etc and then going cheap. I've said for a few years west ham are only a decent owner from being a powerhouse in the league.

4.) 01 Sep 2017 20:50:58
You are absolutely right Raver, we have been sold lie after lie. We have been completely mugged off. Personally I would have preferred to stay at Upton Park and maybe had a cup run every few years and the odd Europa run. It may lack ambition but I liked the size of club we were. Its what I was brought up with. i'm struggling with what we are now. This isn't the West Ham I know. To be honest we are used to tight owners but we knew they were tight, they told us we were tight and had no money to spend. These clowns promise the world and deliver nothing close to it. Some fans won't like it but maybe we should look across North London and take a few lessons from yourselves in how to run a football club.

Mike I've got a bet on west ham being relegated in the summer at a massive 16/ 1 I bet those odds aren't available now. Chris Coleman would sort west ham out mike and is available.
