Looks like Wilshere deal almost done
Let's hope we keep him fit
I can hear the stadium singing
We've got wishere Jack Wilshere I just don't

He's Pellegrinis guy we've got Jack Wilshere.

That song doesn’t really have the same ring to it haha!

2.) 06 Jul 2018 10:27:56
Arp . I was trying to get the words in line with the tune but didn't quite make it, I think Wiltshire is a good addition but not worthy of a song lol lol.

3.) 06 Jul 2018 11:22:56
TK Hammer

How about this version

We have just signed Jack, Payets not coming back, I just don’t you understand
He’s Pelligrini’s pick, he’s better than that French Pr*ck and almost twice as quick
We’ve got Jack ( a West Ham man)

MOTD state that Billic about to be sacked
and Moyes in by Monday.

arp3768

1.) 04 Nov 2017 23:39:35
what joy.

2.) 05 Nov 2017 01:46:08
Bilic has to go not over the moon about moyes but il get behind him and give him my support he deserve a chance.

3.) 05 Nov 2017 08:15:01
I would prefer allardyce to moyes. Hr was useless at sociedad and relegated at sunderland.

4.) 05 Nov 2017 12:27:08
He may not be top choice to many . But . who else a. Is interested b available? Think hard how many about tick both boxes?

5.) 05 Nov 2017 13:23:26
Well said.

6.) 05 Nov 2017 21:30:13
Koeman is available, quite like him if he were to come.
Lot of gossip about ancelotti but in all honesty cannot see it.

7.) 05 Nov 2017 22:07:22
Carlo Ancelotti would be amazing, but I’m confident that is a step (or 3) too far.

Personally my choice would be Ronald Koeman. He is available, he has a point to prove after being sacked by Everton. He did a great job at Southampton on a mediocre budget, saw some of his most influential players at Southampton sold to bigger clubs and still built a competitive side.

In my opinion he was unfairly treated at Everton, he saw Romelu Lukaku sold, obviously gave the board a couple of names to replace him and they failed. Ok he invested heavily during the summer, but it’s no secret Everton were chasing Giroud up until the last minute, and there was even talk of a deal for Diego Costa but for the fact he only wanted to return to Spain. If you don’t have an out and put forward on the pitch, you won’t score goals and you won’t win games.

8.) 06 Nov 2017 00:31:48
Would we have to pay compensation though?
Im all honesty don't know how manager signings work.

19 Aug 2017 15:36:19
We are up against it now.

arp3768

29 Jan 2017 21:49:53
Looks like Fletcher going on loan to Leeds
So nearly all 4 forwards we bought in summer av left or on loan elsewhere .
Hogan deal must be going to happen now, surely we can't just rely on carol and sakho till end of season.
Me personally don't think hogan is good enough for us or for the prem!

arp3768

1.) 30 Jan 2017 05:10:09
If he stays fit I think you will be suprised

2.) 30 Jan 2017 08:52:29
Keeping calleri and signing hogan?

3.) 30 Jan 2017 09:14:17
You just hit the nail of the head Quanty24. IF HE STAYS FIT. The guy hasn't completed a full season in his career so far.

4.) 30 Jan 2017 09:39:55
Calleri may well stay Phil as it will cost the club financially to let him go

{Ed002's Note - And there will be a problem finding somewhere to take him.}

5.) 30 Jan 2017 10:46:58
DIE_4_WHUFC. to be honest, name me a striker that has stayed fit and played a whole season whilst scoring goals regularly?

6.) 30 Jan 2017 11:24:19
Not many mate, if calleri is given time I'm sure he will find his feet and come good

7.) 30 Jan 2017 11:28:44
Holiday has been impressed with calleri in the last few weeks and we are light on strikers so I'd be surprised if any strikers leave unless some come in HOGAN I believe will sign today according to moose on talks port.

8.) 30 Jan 2017 16:38:55
Quite high risk, Hogan+Carroll injury prone, Sakho on a strop, Callieri, not good enough. when all 4 available, we can get by, but probability says that's rare and more likely 1 or 2 max. available at any one time.

I think we should be ok as we've accrued enough points, but the contrast of this season v last is stark!

18 Jul 2016 15:30:49
Andy carol out for 2 weeks.

Looking forward to today's game
Today is a great chance to get our season
underway and get 3 points on the board.
Hoping our midfield and defence are more
solid as feel we have the ability to score goals with our front line
COYI
4-1 for me today.

arp3768

09 Aug 2018 21:32:35
Well guys transfer window open, I feel like
it's a good one, think we have better quality
squad, not totally convinced we have addressed holding midfield position, think
This was our worst position last season
But hopefully Pellegrini knows what he's doing.
I've been trying to put together my starting 11 for Sunday and it's totally different from last season.

arp3768

14 Jul 2018 08:17:34
And now Balbuena has signed, just waiting
on Anderson to sign over the weekend.
This looks like a major transformation of our team for the good as most of these players are much better than wat we had last season and we still have lanzini to come back, I'm not counting Reid or carol as don't see them getting in our starting line up.
Surely we will start to offload a few players now.
MP favours a 4-2-3-1 formation I believe which will be very interesting here's my starting line up
Adrian
Fredericks Diop Balbuena cresswell
Wilshere obiang
Anderson arnie Yarmolenko
Hernandez
Any thoughts?

arp3768

1.) 14 Jul 2018 08:36:06
I always thought he was a 4-4-2 man myself i'm probably wrong though.

2.) 14 Jul 2018 08:56:48
You could be right Noel so that would be arnoutivic
and Hernandez up front?

3.) 14 Jul 2018 14:32:24
I'm sure there is a video of pellegrini talking about formations he said the formation doesn't matter Its the approach which is to always attack.

Personally I do think Arnautovic will be up top I think he thrives on being the main man up there and has often been critised in the past for his defensive work rate. i'd just keep him up top let him cause havoc he's got all the attributes to be a top striker.

I listen to talk sport most days and heard what Durham said about Wilshere.
Durham is a complete numpty but he's entitled to his opinion, can't wait for Wilshere to prove him wrong
Gotta feel sorry for Durham too he is a Peterborough fan so doesn't know class when he sees it.

arp3768

09 Jul 2018 16:41:00
Well done MP GandS and everyone who made the Wilshere deal happen
Absolutely brilliant signing, Wilshere is a class act and I'm wishing he can stay fit as he realy could be the bargain buy of this window.

arp3768

1.) 09 Jul 2018 19:57:53
Good luck Jack, hope you stay healthy.

2.) 09 Jul 2018 21:34:02
Tongue in cheek or are you gutted stayloyal.

3.) 09 Jul 2018 21:38:05
Fair play WHUFC lampard isn't getting burke he's having medical at hull good luck frank but your not using WHUFC to gain success if it weren't for us he wouldn't be the player he turned out to be so fair play to Reece as well for choosing hull.

4.) 09 Jul 2018 21:42:34
Adrian Durham slating jack for choosing an early retirement for going to WHUFC and not pushing himself at a bigger club what a proper knob has he seen the players we are trying to sign and I believe if we get our targets we will be a force to be reckoned with not saying top four but definitely top 8.

5.) 10 Jul 2018 09:13:27
Nuts that Durham has always been a knob, he knows absolutely sweet FA about football, all he can do is comment retrospectively which any idiot can spin a comment once it is in front of him,

Ok he says JW is taking early retirement, the problem is what other club could he go for his fresh challenge. Man C Man U Spurs Chelsea Liverpool . no, so than you go out of the so called big 6. Everton maybe. so if not Everton than it has to be Westham. and if he wants to stay in the UK than that's a great fit. The problem with Durham is when you try to call him out he shouts all over you. I don't think anyone worth theor salt sees him as credible.

6.) 10 Jul 2018 19:21:21
Durham said he should have gone abroad to a. c. Milan (half empty stadium to play in 20,000 that's who's watching them) or fenarbache because they are no better than WHUFC he would have to play out of his skin every game to get recognised which is JACKS main aim to do well for WHUFC and play for england.

I feel we need to sort out defence and centre
midfield as a priority and go back to basics
Fabianski

Cresswell and zabaleta as fullbacks
Then 2 from ogbonna Diop and Balbuena
and possibly all 3 but think Pellegrini will want to
only play 2 of them
Sanchez as holding midfielder wif Wilshere
Then arnie on left, Yarmolenko on right
and Anderson playing the 10 behind Pérez.

Even when we were winning our defence looked dodgy
6 goals conceded in 2 games and not scored
from open play
We were so slow in midfield it got embarrassing
It all seemed so positive even snodgrass
seemed half decent with his corners
Noble and Wilshere looked dead on there
feet after 55 mins
3 defenders around Wilson and he strolled
through them far too easy.

Normal service resumed
We concede lots
Liverpool score legs
And we are too slow in midfield.

Blimey it’s all doom and gloom with you lot
Don’t get me wrong I agree that we could
of started better than we have but come on guys
let’s get behind the players because this is all
we have till at least January.
I can’t see a win coming from the next 3 games
but at least try to be positive
Some of the players that we bought look ok
And if we get behind them they may surprise
us, it can only get better!
And before anyone blasts me I’ve been to
both home games and watched both away
games this season.

My only positive from yesterday was that I thought Fabianski Diop and Balbuena looked good
I’d also say that Sanchez seemed to have more desire to get the ball moving and make something happen
Unfortunately he messed up big time for the goal
Snodgrass Fredericks antonio cresswell final balls were dreadful.
