Rumours are spreading that Yarmolenko is out for the season.

1.) 21 Oct 2018 20:19:29
Doubt he will ever get back as good, Faubert was never as fast again and yarmo was struggling even before the injury! - need a Wilshire back who is fit and keen and smoke free.

2.) 22 Oct 2018 08:03:49
arp / geyser, yes according to reports he has ruptured Achilles so looks like a 6 months job🙈 as Guyser says he may never be what we hoped he would be, so we have to look at others to step up, like Diangana! Please MP do not consider any already injury prone players otherwise we might as well change our name to West Hospital United, of course unpredicted injuries will always happen but steer clear of the those with possible long term problems!

3.) 22 Oct 2018 10:47:22
Such a shame for Yarmo, wish him a speedy and successful recovery.
Pressure is on for others to step up to the plate now. Diangana, Holland, Perez can all play out wide for us, and Marcus Browne also has a lot of promise. We need someone NOW though, so maybe MP needs to look to a loan/ purchase in January, as we cannot rely and potentially rush Lanzini back.
Maybe Snodgrass has to play more out wide again, but i feel he is better more central. Wilshere in a wider role?
Antonio just doesn't fit the bill under MP, he has terrible final ball and limited creativity. Pace and power are his attributes, best as a CF.

4.) 22 Oct 2018 15:33:41
Perez for me, with youngster possible coming onn.

5.) 22 Oct 2018 14:10:32
No please not SNODGRASS nlckinho he ain’t a premiership consistent player and what I mean by that mate is he cannot give continuity on a premiership level just the odd good performance not great just good and we need more than that especially if your down the bottom of the table that’s my view in know it’s all about opinions mate and that’s mine . COYI.

6.) 23 Oct 2018 09:16:55
I know what you mean Worya, long term we do need upgrades, but i am sure those will come in the coming windows. What we have now is important though, and Iv been impressed with Snodders playing CM so far, and given injuries he is a serious squad player for us now. Great attitude.
Just a thought, as we clearly have not got Anderson fully going yet, but maybe we have options to switch things around slightly. Play Anderson on the right (seen plenty highlights of him there) and maybe Masuaku on the left infront of Cresswell?
Perez is also more comfortable on the left, so there's another option on our left, but know idea of Perez's defensive capabilities.
Could also suggest a formation change, but when MP has JUST got the balance in the middle right it would be a big risk for him to take. If he did, I'd keep the back 4 the same, Rice as DM and 2 CMs (all the same), but then maybe play a CAM behind two strikers. Like Allardyce did so well with Downing behind Valencia and Sakho for a few games, before an injury forced a change and Big Sam went back to his old ways never to try it again when players were fit again. Got to see problems as opportunities sometimes, and maybe this is our one to get Chica and Anderson to finally click somehow.

7.) 24 Oct 2018 11:54:30
Make you right on most things you've said nlckinho as we must stick with two holding midfielders and an attacking midfielder which I think WILSHIRE can do when fit I know it's a big when fit also who much has RICE improved on the ball and his passing range the only thing is he's going to get an England call up soon and that's when his injury's start I hope not as not every player gets injured on international duty but it's not ideal losing your best players and he's definitely one as is BALBUENA and I know he's only got 7 caps but now he's getting premiership coverage he's going to get called up fingers crossed he don't as he will be travelling all around the world. COYI.

06 Jul 2018 09:29:00
Looks like Wilshere deal almost done
Let's hope we keep him fit
I can hear the stadium singing
We've got wishere Jack Wilshere I just don't
think u understand he's better than Payet
He's Pellegrinis guy we've got Jack Wilshere.

1.) 06 Jul 2018 10:22:50
That song doesn’t really have the same ring to it haha!

2.) 06 Jul 2018 10:27:56
Arp . I was trying to get the words in line with the tune but didn't quite make it, I think Wiltshire is a good addition but not worthy of a song lol lol.

3.) 06 Jul 2018 11:22:56
TK Hammer

How about this version

We have just signed Jack, Payets not coming back, I just don’t you understand
He’s Pelligrini’s pick, he’s better than that French Pr*ck and almost twice as quick
We’ve got Jack ( a West Ham man)

MOTD state that Billic about to be sacked
and Moyes in by Monday.

1.) 04 Nov 2017 23:39:35
what joy.

2.) 05 Nov 2017 01:46:08
Bilic has to go not over the moon about moyes but il get behind him and give him my support he deserve a chance.

3.) 05 Nov 2017 08:15:01
I would prefer allardyce to moyes. Hr was useless at sociedad and relegated at sunderland.

4.) 05 Nov 2017 12:27:08
He may not be top choice to many . But . who else a. Is interested b available? Think hard how many about tick both boxes?

5.) 05 Nov 2017 13:23:26
Well said.

6.) 05 Nov 2017 21:30:13
Koeman is available, quite like him if he were to come.
Lot of gossip about ancelotti but in all honesty cannot see it.

7.) 05 Nov 2017 22:07:22
Carlo Ancelotti would be amazing, but I’m confident that is a step (or 3) too far.

Personally my choice would be Ronald Koeman. He is available, he has a point to prove after being sacked by Everton. He did a great job at Southampton on a mediocre budget, saw some of his most influential players at Southampton sold to bigger clubs and still built a competitive side.

In my opinion he was unfairly treated at Everton, he saw Romelu Lukaku sold, obviously gave the board a couple of names to replace him and they failed. Ok he invested heavily during the summer, but it’s no secret Everton were chasing Giroud up until the last minute, and there was even talk of a deal for Diego Costa but for the fact he only wanted to return to Spain. If you don’t have an out and put forward on the pitch, you won’t score goals and you won’t win games.

8.) 06 Nov 2017 00:31:48
Would we have to pay compensation though?
Im all honesty don't know how manager signings work.

19 Aug 2017 15:36:19
We are up against it now.

29 Jan 2017 21:49:53
Looks like Fletcher going on loan to Leeds
So nearly all 4 forwards we bought in summer av left or on loan elsewhere .
Hogan deal must be going to happen now, surely we can't just rely on carol and sakho till end of season.
Me personally don't think hogan is good enough for us or for the prem!

1.) 30 Jan 2017 05:10:09
If he stays fit I think you will be suprised

2.) 30 Jan 2017 08:52:29
Keeping calleri and signing hogan?

3.) 30 Jan 2017 09:14:17
You just hit the nail of the head Quanty24. IF HE STAYS FIT. The guy hasn't completed a full season in his career so far.

4.) 30 Jan 2017 09:39:55
Calleri may well stay Phil as it will cost the club financially to let him go

{Ed002's Note - And there will be a problem finding somewhere to take him.}

5.) 30 Jan 2017 10:46:58
DIE_4_WHUFC. to be honest, name me a striker that has stayed fit and played a whole season whilst scoring goals regularly?

6.) 30 Jan 2017 11:24:19
Not many mate, if calleri is given time I'm sure he will find his feet and come good

7.) 30 Jan 2017 11:28:44
Holiday has been impressed with calleri in the last few weeks and we are light on strikers so I'd be surprised if any strikers leave unless some come in HOGAN I believe will sign today according to moose on talks port.

8.) 30 Jan 2017 16:38:55
Quite high risk, Hogan+Carroll injury prone, Sakho on a strop, Callieri, not good enough. when all 4 available, we can get by, but probability says that's rare and more likely 1 or 2 max. available at any one time.

I think we should be ok as we've accrued enough points, but the contrast of this season v last is stark!

05 Dec 2018 18:40:52
So arnie is out possibly 6 weeks, last few games I don't think he's been the same as before.
Just wondering who will spearhead our attack
Or even Perez
Could be interesting.

1.) 05 Dec 2018 19:09:42
arp3768, don’t think the spearhead will be very sharp🤣🤣but some players live in the shadow of others so a chance for others to steal the limelight if they can?

2.) 05 Dec 2018 21:56:44
Carroll/ Antonio and Hernandez/ perez could be interesting as a targetman and poacher combo?

01 Dec 2018 14:19:22
No Antonio or Diangana in squad, rested
for Tuesday maybe
Carol and Wilshere on bench
Thought Carol may start to give arnie support but gone with Hernandez.

1.) 01 Dec 2018 16:05:19
ARP3768, right decision at moment 1-0 up👍👍 if you’re interested live commentary of the game on BBC Radio London, switching between Palace v Burnley, I have it on my TV Freeview channel 721⚒⚒COYI.

2.) 01 Dec 2018 17:01:26
Can watch nearly every game online if your interested. Played brill everyone was good. ARrnie could have better finishing only other slight down was arthur shakey again everyone else 8 at least imo. Playing like that only way is up with upcoming games. Coyi.

3.) 01 Dec 2018 18:01:36
Masuaku looked horrendous coming on after a very good performance from Cresswell. I think he needs to start from now on.

Good performance from everyone else and a solid 3 points.

4.) 02 Dec 2018 06:07:20
Think Creswell May have trouble starting next game looked like a hamstring tweak. He punched the ground when he knew he did it then tried to play on but was no good. Hopefully nothing too bad though as he did play well.

27 Oct 2018 22:29:27
Terrible news re the helicopter crash after todays game
Praying for everyone.

1.) 28 Oct 2018 07:25:37
arp, with you on this, terrible tragedy, nobody could possibly have survived that inferno, also praying for Glen Hoddle to pull through, bad enough to happen anytime but on your birthday seems surreal!

2.) 28 Oct 2018 08:44:51
Totally echo those sentiments fellas. Apparently he did a lot of stuff for their local community. Very sad 😥.

3.) 28 Oct 2018 11:21:24
This is horrible just sickening our best wishes to our Leicester pals. IRONMIKE.

27 Oct 2018 08:38:46
I think is another massive game, if we lose
we could be right back in the relegation dog
I'm struggling to see where our goals are
going to come from.
I'd keep the back four as they are and possibly play Masuaku as left wing and snodgrass as right wing or even Fredericks
on the right to get some crosses in for arnie and Hernandez or Anderson
Rice obviously in midfield looks like with
noble as we are running out of players.

1.) 27 Oct 2018 17:30:00
Just seen the team, no Arnie, where’s the goals coming from, is Arnie injured, he seems to have an ongoing knee problem! Looks bleak for a win unless Hernandez starts to do what he’s being paid £140k a week for!

2.) 27 Oct 2018 23:33:30
I'd play FREDDERICKS on the right wing and use his pace he puts in a decent cross as well something ANTONIO can't . COYI.

18 Aug 2018 08:47:12
Looking forward to today's game
Today is a great chance to get our season
underway and get 3 points on the board.
Hoping our midfield and defence are more
solid as feel we have the ability to score goals with our front line
4-1 for me today.

I feel we need to sort out defence and centre
midfield as a priority and go back to basics

Cresswell and zabaleta as fullbacks
Then 2 from ogbonna Diop and Balbuena
and possibly all 3 but think Pellegrini will want to
only play 2 of them
Sanchez as holding midfielder wif Wilshere
Then arnie on left, Yarmolenko on right
and Anderson playing the 10 behind Pérez.

Even when we were winning our defence looked dodgy
6 goals conceded in 2 games and not scored
from open play
We were so slow in midfield it got embarrassing
It all seemed so positive even snodgrass
seemed half decent with his corners
Noble and Wilshere looked dead on there
feet after 55 mins
3 defenders around Wilson and he strolled
through them far too easy.

Normal service resumed
We concede lots
Liverpool score legs
And we are too slow in midfield.

Wow what does Pellegrini say to them at half
time? Complete turnaround in the second half
I think Carol made a difference too.
Hernandez and Perez up front together didn’t
Work yesterday.
Rice Snoddy Andersen stood out for me, however thought
they were all good.
It’s just a pleasure to see beautiful football again
after a few years of crap.
Long may it last.

We may well of spent 100 million, however
only Balbuena Diop Fabianski and Anderson
we’re new starting players from last season
actually totalling about 70 million.
Even spending 100 million gets you very little
nowadays, city spend that on a full back almost.
I actually thought there were glimpses of us
progressing in the way Pellegrini wants us to
We shot ourselves in the foot by not having
a true striker and a true left back.
