I'm expecting to be shot down in flames here and possibly break the record for most "disagrees" but I think we should have a long look at Mario Balotelli . Had 2 great seasons in France and we have had fiery troublesome Italians before who have become legends.

Hiya Dabber here's your first disagree sorry mate but too much baggage and too little goal/ appearance return when in the UK previously both at sittee and Liverpool.

2.) 12 May 2018 19:25:50
Arnie has just settled and imagine Mario setting him off again lol car races around the stadium any one? Lol, seriously if he can be controlled and do a job, we could do a lot worse.

3.) 12 May 2018 20:23:19
Hi Merceri, can't disagree with you mate, his return at City and L'pool wasn't great but at Nice he's been on fire. Talking of fire, Jason apparently when he was at MC he held a firework party in his house and wanted to buy a sealion for his indoor pool! With Arnie as well it definitely wouldn't be dull!

4.) 13 May 2018 08:34:35
Maybe that’s what West Ham needs again SOME REAL CHARCTERS! Just think of some of the wild ones we have had and done well with them, they add an edge and passion and sometimes a bit of madness . Give us lot something to shout about and get behind .

12 May 2018 10:56:04
Living here in Cheshire have heard all about Winner from Stoke fans. They allege he is the worst signing Stoke have ever made! We should stay well clear.

That’s why spurs got rid.

18 Apr 2018 19:24:21
I'm going to shout this long and loud in the hope Moyes hears this . We should go for the win on Sunday against a very tired looking and fraught Arsenal. We can either try and stutter over the line with a couple of draws or do it in one hit with a positive win at the emirates. I'd start with Carroll and Hernandes up front with Arnie behind them

Either

Rice Ogbonna Cresswell

Zabelletta Noble Kouyate. Masuaku

Arnie Carroll

Chicarito

Arnie and Carroll both track back more than Lanzini for me, who is a bit of a lazy luxury imo.

Dabber, wouldn’t disagree with your team or comments for the arsenal game, only thing that makes me think we have no chance is, you've Forgotten to pick a keeper😄 apart from your team I wouldn’t disagree with is, i would play Adrian in goal! Think there are some that would disagree with Noble and Kouyate, but I wouldn’t, football is all about opinions like everything in life, we have our subs to try to change things if necessary, The win would keep us up. COYI⚒⚒⚒.

2.) 18 apr 2018 23:19:41
i will argue till i'm blue in the face noble and kouyate ain't good enough i'd drop noble and play kouyate and the only reason being lack of players and his enine and i'd say to him just sit in front of defence and no kamikaze runs leaving us wide open my team is. adrian. rice ogbonna cresswell. mario edmilson kouyate masuaku. arnautovic. lanzini. chiquarito. 3-4-2-1.p. s tell kouyate to sit in front of back three no nutty runs whatsoever.

3.) 18 Apr 2018 23:21:31
Chelmsford I meant to put either they’re both S**T about the keeper! 😀There are some valid points on here about Noble and Kouyate and Ithink next season it will be doubtful if either are playing but now is not the right time to drop them. Sunday is definately winnable with key players coming back a t a key time. Carrolls injury issue frustrates me as much as anyone but we do lok a totally different outfit when he plays. Just think he and Chicarito could be big heroes against a relatively poor Arsenal defence come Sunday, get the win and plan for next season.

4.) 19 Apr 2018 09:12:39
Kram48, telling Kouyate to do something and expecting him to do it is two different things, he needs Noble next to him to keep him disciplined or at least to drop in for him. As per my previous post Lanzini is a bit of a luxury item for me at the moment, looks quality when the goings good but doesn’t work hard enough when we haven’t got the ball . Carroll and Arnie always put a shift in and track back. We shall see, I think we both agree we should go for it though .

5.) 19 Apr 2018 13:08:02
yep I'd drop NOBLE for EDMILSON as he's more of an athlete and the way arsenal move the ball we are going to need that and NOBLE hasn't got the legs or engine he's devoid of any pace I know he's far more experienced than EDMILSON and that's the only reason I'd stick with KOUYATE because of his ability to run hard for ninety mins and that's where his ability ends and I agree with you dabbed if KOUYATE can't stick to team orders he shouldn't be playing and if we had all players fit he wouldn't make my bench and I'm serious because he's awful.

6.) 19 Apr 2018 13:50:49
Kouyate wouldn't get a place on my 9 year old sons Sunday league team he is shocking!

Regardless as to whether we stay up or go down we need a HUGE clear out to ensure this fantastic club is restored to the level it deserves.

OUT - ban for life scum bags that feel intimidation and scaring little kids is the way to protest about corruption!

OUT - The corrupt board that puffs its chest out with pride at 25m net spend on players then wonders why were floundering and in danger

OUT - Players who fail to train on time, spit and get themselves banned for 6 games and don't appear to care or put in a shift on the pitch!

OUT - The manager who flatters to deceive and now has a worse record than Bilic in terms of same amount of games managed. His appointment was cheap and uninspiring. We deserve a passionate manager such as Wagner, Caraval, Klopp .

Dabber Iron

1.) 11 Mar 2018 19:20:56
Some good points dabber but in answer to your last point which of those 3 would want the job? Certainly not Klopp, Wagner might also be getting relegated and the last is looking settled where he is . We can ask for a new manager but it’s who wants the job that counts .

2.) 11 Mar 2018 19:51:20
what if arsenal sack Wenger? who would take him?

{Ed002's Note - Wenger won't be moving to Everton.}

3.) 11 Mar 2018 20:04:46
Ouch ed lol.

{Ed002's Note - Or West Ham.}

4.) 12 Mar 2018 13:22:45
You’re right of course Jason about Klopp, he wouln’t come in a million years nor need to, the point I was making is that we need somebody who can inspire the players regardless as to what is happening off the pitch and I just don’t see Moyes as that person. Personally I like Wagner and he may be going down but that is mainly down to the quality he has to work with. With the right board and budget he could be perfect for us. Then there’s also Ranieri . might only be a quick fix but look at the legacy he has left at Leicester.

5.) 12 Mar 2018 14:07:54
We are a million miles from WENGER AND KLOPP the man I've wanted for a long time is EDDIE HOWE but after the weekend I think that's a longshot. COYI.

6.) 12 Mar 2018 14:17:46
we don't have the right board do we dabber? doesn't matter who we bring in if sulli is influencing the transfers.

7.) 12 Mar 2018 15:09:21
Al we don’t have the right board for anybody to do the job they’d want to do but a manager with positivity and charm would certainly help the players and supporters.

Long time reader here new poster. A lot of comments on here are very sound however some just begger belief. A couple of years ago somebody on here, still posting, said they'd drive Song to the airport themself now some of you see him as some sort of saviour. Same when we employed Moyes, vilified him and now he's the victim. People have to appreciate that football, football clubs and football players are bit parts in big business. Every owner in the land, not just ours (who have a shocking habit of opening traps before engaging brains) is after one thing, profitability. Either to generate an income or a future sale. They were never going to spend big money in January as from a business perspective it was unwise to do so. If we were to go down any player on a big salary would have been sold at a loss just to reduce the wage bill. A lot of people on here for example were saying sell Hernandez in January for a potential 8m loss. Would you buy a house in August and sell it in January for 50% less than you paid for it? I agree the people running this incredible club are idiots when it comes to public relations but they are proven business people and they will look at the business as a whole. My fear is that they think relegation from a business perspective with parachute payments etc and a chance to build again may be a sound option. I hope I'm wrong.

1.) 09 Feb 2018 11:26:06
Hi Dabber welcome to the debate

The point about not spending money in Jan for fear of going down is noted. but would that be not the reason to spend money on positions we desperately needed to give us a greater chance of not going down, take Dendoncker for example £20m, even if he turned out absolutely crap i'm sure we would off load for something near that, his 22 a Belguim International and if he did get a game in the World Cup and done well maybe even make a profit, so the initials outlays in realty worse case scenario is we may have lost a few mill.

Your right these two are proven business men. BUT not in football, its a completely different than selling smut. When you say business as a whole? . so do you mean if we were in championship and and making £5m profit a year that's OK? . as its good business!

The need to stop lying hire a competent Director of Football and stay in the back ground and run the club, there is enough money in the Prem and our ground for them to make a profit and still enhance the club, by alienating a decent income source ( fans gate money) is really not great business IMO.

2.) 09 Feb 2018 15:32:29
Hi Warrington, greatly respect your posts as always written in a considered way. Please don't get me wrong, I'm no great fan of DGS but the problem with buying in January is paying over inflated prices for people you can get later at a more reasonable amount. I agree Dendonker was worth the risk as the investment could have been recovered if the worst happened however not all are like that. We have some great players and reasonable squad depth. What we can't account for is injuries to key players and idiots who get themselves banned for 6 games at a critical time of the season. To this end, from a business perspective loanees and freebies are the sensible option and yes personally I'd take Song as I felt he had a great season and an adequate one.

3.) 09 Feb 2018 18:58:08
Just seen MOYES speaking about EVRA and one of his strengths is his professionalism I nearly choke on my dinner REALLY now I know what's wrong with our football club we have complete buttons who own the club and another who manages they must be on the wind up PATRICE EVRA (A.K.A KARATE KID ), COYI.

4.) 09 Feb 2018 20:26:57
I know what u mean, but I would like to know what was said to him by the fan to get that reaction, I don’t condone the action but would be nice to be given the facts, Moyes knows the story and has said he understands the reaction ( doesn’t condone ) . Let’s give the man a chance and fr the short time he’s here treat him as a West Ham player .

5.) 11 Feb 2018 12:54:52
Jason’s, well said re the Evra remark, we all know the scum bags that get
pleasure at swearing and hurling abuse at players that mostly
cannot react to the horrible taunts, how would we like that abuse shouted out at us knowing mostly there is nothing we can do, they’re mostly cowards I am sad to say, they should not be tolerated in grounds. I have seen it so many times over, adults with kids shouting abuse at players then their siblings do the same, morons, kick them out! Always 2 sides to the story.

6.) 17 Feb 2018 12:54:07
Buffons I meant and I knew CHIQUARITO was our best GOALTHREAT by a mile and majority of people wanted him gone, he was simply being asked to do an ANDY CARROLL ROLE which he is a totally different player than tgat and why MOYES has improved our fitness ( which is what managers are paid to do) i'm dubious of him staying because of my point about CHIQUARITO but with ARNAUTOVIC he simply thought he was a certain starter under slaven and was not putting effort in so I don't think its about moyes improving him he's always had ability because that's why we bought him he just thought he was untouchable and when dropped he perk his ideas up. COYI.

Warrington you are dead right Carroll does owe the club a massive debt of gratitude but how can he repay it if Moyes doesn’t give him the chance? Arnie is desperate for help up front, he is being asked to do a job he hasn’t been asked to do by any other club and he’s getting frustrated. I’ve said it before we look a different side when Carroll plays, not so long ago he got a hatrick against Arsenal, scores the decisive equaliser the week before the Arsenal game and Moyes doesn’t start him and leaves it too late for him to make a difference. How many of us could say hand on heart if you were Andy Carroll on Sunday watching that and then being over looked by the Manager for lazy Chicarito and lazy Mario you wouldn’t have felt like storming off down the tunnel at final whistle . most fans had had enough after 60 minutes!

Because he has very limited ability Jason or doesn’t trust the percieved ability of the person on the left either Cresswell, Evra or Masuaku .

Hi Phil you haven’t given up caring mate as you wouldn’t keep coming back on here and rightly venting your anger and frustration . I was all for giving Moyes a fair shot and to be honest felt at Christmas we had the right man for the job. It’s what he’s done over the last month that gets to me in terms of selection. Swapping 3 subs like for like on Sunday at 4:1 when Carroll was sat there summed it up. Like him or not Carroll can turn a game in your favour quickly, we saw that against Stoke. My biggest issue though is lazy players walking instead of closing people down, getting the ball and turning into cul de sacs as they haven’t got a pass on or trying to play out from the back when they haven’t the skill or confidence. As for Adrian . words fail me!

Unfair comments about Hart Merceri, he made 2 World Class saves and it was Rice’s mistake foe the 2nd goal, Masuaku’s for the 1st anddeflection deflection for the 3rd. The Rice mistake cost us but he is young and willlearn from it. Agree with you about our Midfield though . their first goal came because Mario couldn’t beat the first man off a corner and Kouyate is just absolute garbage and lazy!

So Moyes and Carroll have had a spat on the training ground have they. well guess who I side with on that one, Carroll! Yes he’s a sicknote but when he plays does he track back and show some commtment, yes, does he score vital goals, yes, do we look a different side, yes, will he be there next season, probably not but its the next 3 games that count, next season is a million miles away! We have to set up for a win Saturday and that means Arnie and Carroll up front with Lanzini behind them, as for the other 8 take your pick they’re all equally useless!

TKHammer you are absolutely right andi it’s refreshing on here to see a comment from somebody not blaming Joe Hart for everything . Mario’s poor corner plus Masuaku defending the goal line outside of the post cost us the first, Rice the second (after a world class goal from Arnie and 2 saves from Hart) and a deflection the third. De Gea would have struggled this season behind our defence and Mdfield. Complete overhaul heeded if we stay up or go down .
