I see West ham were placed 3rd in the average attendance figure for this Season following Man Utd and Arsenal.

I do wish they would stop calling it Attendance as we all know its based on ticket Sales including Season Ticket holders who don't show up

What do you guys think?

1.) 19 May 2019 20:29:06
All teams do it not just us, no idea why as with modern electronic turnstiles they can tell exactly how many attend.

2.) 20 May 2019 12:33:34
Season ticvket sales are seats bought and paid for, might be naff but thems the rules.

3.) 27 May 2019 10:17:28
The stadium would fail on health and safety if we did not know how many are in the ground. Real attendance is easy to do.

Great effort by the club on Saturday with the christening of the Billy Bonds stand I got choked watching Billy het choked with the emotion of you know what I mean.

Great to see so many ex players turn up as well and what a cheer for Ludo the loudest of the lot after Billy of course

799 appearances - would love to think Rice might beat record - well I can dream can't I?

1.) 05 Mar 2019 09:10:09
Hi Mercerl

Agreed everything you said including you can dream bit :)

If young Dec stayed at the club for the rest of his career and say he played an average of 32 Prem games a season ( that's a push with injury and suspension) and a average of 6 FA and League Cup combined, that would total 38 games per season, if you wanted to throw for argument sake a extra 5 for Europe in the future at a max he plays 44 games a season, ( That is far to many on average but let's just say)

He would need to play at the club for around 18 seasons taking him up to 38 to hit even 792 games, the above figures are really pushing it so it would be a case he needs to play until his 40 plus minimum.

Its not going to happen, and i'm so bored at work I just thought i'd mention it :)

2.) 05 Mar 2019 11:43:48
Well done Warrington amazing isn't it Billy achieved the 799 when he was 40 having had a complete season out - now get with your work before the boss turns up lol.

18 Feb 2019 16:47:19
Seen reports today WHU interested in possibly signing Anthonio Valencia if Zab decides retire been a great player for Manc Utd but he's nearly as old as Zab

What do you guys think.

1.) 18 Feb 2019 18:18:11
No thanks.

We do not need to invest silly wages on very short term, diminishing players.

2.) 18 Feb 2019 18:18:39
No thanks👎👎.

3.) 19 Feb 2019 02:55:52
At this time there’s nothing of substance to make comment on IRONMIKE.

4.) 19 Feb 2019 15:48:54
There's nothing wrong with having experienced players in the squad (Zaba has been brilliant)

Fredericks doesn't look like he is 100% up to PL standard yet but I think he'll get there

So an experienced option seems like a decent plan when we don't need to splash a lot of cash on a player in that position.

20 Jan 2019 21:58:03
Looking at the various re runs of yesterday's game and in particular the first goal some observation

1 Diop did really well to get back and put the block in unlucky it rebounded straight to Wilson
2 wilsons shot was outstanding
3 Ogbonna turned his back on the shot poor attitude can't imagine that Ginge or even Reed would have done that

Conclusion we need Balbuenna or even Reed back ASAP and we probably need to sign Wilson to stop him scoring against us in future.

1.) 21 Jan 2019 08:50:10
It was undeniably a great strike, but I don’t think Wilson is the answer for us.

Gomez for me please and the buzz is we’ve upped our interest in him.

I’m always disappointed and frustrated if we lose a game we should be more competitive in, but we have to remember that we have a ludicrous injury list.

If our entire squad was fully fit, how many of Saturday’s starters wouldn’t have made the team?

2.) 21 Jan 2019 10:33:34
About right Markro, that team was no where near our best.
I have wondered for a few years if maybe our training ground is to blame for all the injuries?

19 Jan 2019 19:55:10
Sad performance today sadly shows how much we would miss Arnie have to agree with others on here that Carroll not good enough any more and Hernandez added nothing when he came on

Time to start some more of the youngsters next week against Wimbledon including Costa Silva and maybe Arnie as well rather than making him sit at home.

I see Josh Pack has signed for Coventry on a free wish him all the best sorry he didn't make it with us I thought he had a lot of promise.

14 Jun 2019 12:57:38
Great signing and so nice for a change to spring it on us with little or no warning welcome to the East End Pablo

Meanwhile a great welcome back home to Kevin Keen.

13 Jun 2019 09:35:50
Just watched clips of Fornals on Claret and Hugh as I knew nothing about him at all.

Very good ball control an seems to find team mates with some great passes can see a good spine with Rice and Anthonio if He is playing in attack.

I know it's only clips but think I'd be very happy to see him in Claret and blue.

09 Jun 2019 15:16:37
With possibility of Lanzini going elsewhere next season wondered what you guys might see as the favoured stating line up.

My list below assumes no new signings or sell ons

GK Fabiansk

I would play Anderson in the Lanzini role with Arthur playing I. Front of Creswell

Maybe a bit radical-I think Arthur going forward on the wing could work and leave Anderson a free role as an attacking midfielder

If not working too well then Noble Wiltshire Coul be the 60 mins subs

I would also like to see Cullen and Johnson on the bench regulatly

1.) 09 Jun 2019 20:22:05
Merceri, I see nothing wrong in that line up at all providing all are fit and Arnie prepares to do some work! I am fed up reading of all those hopeful signings we are looking at, so at least you’re being realistic👍 Just hope the talk of Palace wanting Antonio doesn’t happen, he’s such a valuable player to us! Not sure Yarmolenko will be up and running for the start of the season but would be great if he was👍⚒⚒⚒.

2.) 09 Jun 2019 21:10:19
1. Fabs

2. Fredericks
3. Diop
4. Balbuena
5. Cresswell

5. Noble
6. Rice
7. Anderson
8. Yamalenko
9. Lanzini

Think Rice n Noble hold allowing the attacking players to flourish.

3.) 09 Jun 2019 22:24:45
Interesting that neither of you mention Snoddy.

Me neither 🤔

I agree with the 1-5, but would then go:

6. Rice
7. Wilshere
8. Lanzini
9. Anderson

10. Yarmolenko/ Antonio

11. Arnautovic

This is a very attacking side, so I can’t realistically see it as MP’s starting 11. It would be entertaining, though.

However, I do think we will bring in at least two players who should start if fit.

4.) 10 Jun 2019 07:03:25
Totally forgot about poor Snoddy, yes he would at least be on the bench, but he would have to be in there somewhere at some time, even just for his dedication and running, work rate for the team. I have almost totally switched off about W. H. apart from this site until I know who we have or haven’t with us, so bloody boring without the season here, can’t wait for it to get up and running again👍👍⚒⚒.

5.) 10 Jun 2019 07:52:09
Fredericks diop balbuena masuaku
Rice lobiski
Anderson lanzini arnautovic

6.) 10 Jun 2019 12:56:04
Some great line ups guys interesting we are all have agreed the back 5 accept the Cresswell/ arthur selection. I have to admit I forgot Snodgrass as well

The original premise of the line up was no Lanzini as he might be going and no nw signings or players leaving so that reflectsy original post.

7.) 10 Jun 2019 22:03:56
I forgot Snods as well. He’d be my first replacement for anyone injured in midfield.

8.) 11 Jun 2019 15:45:07
If you all think SNODGRASS is a WEST HAM player then IMO this is what's wrong with us at the momentwe are stuck in todays west ham where we HAVE to aim higher than mediocre players like him come on lads please if you all think SNODGRASS is good enough going forward in the future then we are NEVER going to get away from finishing mid table and flirting with thinking we are going to get relegated.

03 Jun 2019 19:03:33
Lucas Perez has gone no surprise their then but considering he only played 714 mins his tally of 6 goals isn't that bad especially compared to Chicharito who played twice as long for just 8 goals.

I'm not saying he was outstanding but just not that bad.

1.) 03 Jun 2019 19:59:51
Some would say that he wasn’t given a real chance to impress, but there were rumours of a bad attitude and training issues.

2.) 04 Jun 2019 23:27:37
How close please ED did we come to signing JAO FELIX from BENFICA if rumours were true. COYI.

{Ed001's Note - about 3 foot....}

3.) 05 Jun 2019 11:15:26
In Formula 1 margins that is as close as it gets! That would mean he was landed in London, medical complete, and in the taxi to the club to sign a contract . before changing his mind.
Good effort by the club!
I didn't mind Perez, as his mins per goal was the best we had. The issue we had is 4 strikers on HUGE salaries, 3 of which were 30+ and believed they should be no.1 choice automatically and were not prepared to sit on bench at that stage in their career, and the other . injured.

4.) 06 Jun 2019 01:37:28
Cheers ED 2 foot longer than I thought. COYI.

There was a lot of talk about Trippier joining us a few years back before he became a regular first team spud I seem to remember he being seen in a few hostelleries with a few of our lads.

Again - every time we get anywhere near 7th or even 8th we way absolute garbage 4 defenders stood and watched the first goal and Frederick's forgot he was supposed to to move up the pitch for the second

How come every week it's Rice who looks anything at all at least he hit the post

Ah well Maidenhead won.

Stevie I'm with you the so called big 6 have got to learn that a contract is a contract and that they can't just buy their way into a Champions league place

I've often thought that a big percentage of a teams squad should come from the academy but then if that was the case we probably wouldn't have Diop iin rhe first place.

Agree with you Al and also the lad Dju has some promise too

Assuming Arnie amd Anthonio stay next season it would be good to see both of them coming on as Subs.

Mistley it's all dependant on Gsb agreeing to taking Messi on loan. I've heard he wants to play for West Ham for nothing but dependant on Carroll staying as his strike partner lol.
