Quiet on here tonight thought we were good today and thought Ginger was man of the match

Come on Mr Moyes contract extension please.

1.) 10 Feb 2018 20:28:15
Agree Ginge is definitely worth another year.

2.) 10 Feb 2018 21:36:16
Ginge and oggy were good, but ARNIE was outstanding!

30 Jan 2018 13:16:49
ssn now reporting Watford in for Dendonker is this another really good player that has slipped away.

1.) 30 Jan 2018 13:26:29
Oh No not another one going to another competitor. This is getting worse.

2.) 30 Jan 2018 13:28:35
There must be master plan.
Spend bugger all and finish 17th seems to be that plan. but at least it's a plan.

3.) 30 Jan 2018 13:36:01
If Moyes isn’t keen on him ( or any other players ) then I can’t see him changing his posistion . As he said he won’t buy players just to make up the numbers .

4.) 30 Jan 2018 13:40:05
Dendonker wants the Prem but also read he would love to be in London, could be media rubbish, but if so and we want him I think his there to be got, but does Moyes fancy him, I would say no.

5.) 30 Jan 2018 14:01:37
Hi Jason

In normal circumstances I would agree with Moyes, BUT and it a big BUT we are so short on players, we need to add, if we had a fit squad it would not bother me if anyone else came in although I thought a DM was a priority even before the injuries.

We are short IMO of any attacking flair at the moment and can't see how Hernandez is going to get many chances tonight. If Palace score early its going to be a long long night.

The bookies sum it up with Palace favs to win tonight, were at home they are away and there lower than us in the league, that's sums it up that its not just WH family can see how much mire we are in.

6.) 30 Jan 2018 14:18:56
100% agree Seymour, we need boots on the ground but panic buys will not help, there are two quality players available but because dgs only want to loan we may miss out . I understand the loan idea and they are trying to cover there backs Incase of relegation but we meeed to be be brave .

7.) 30 Jan 2018 16:29:16
Panic Buys? We've had nearly a month to sort this out and again because of constant haggling and underbidding trying to get players on the cheap we are now desperately short of any sort of quality on the pitch.
We may get players back for tonight but there is no way that they are going to be match fit. Too many over paid, underperforming players which we need to start getting rid of. SAKHO was the first positive move. Now we need to start re-building and it starts now. If we'd offered what teams ask then our transfer windows could be a different proposition but we never do.

16 Apr 2017 10:02:38
ssn reported yesterday that West Ham United had a bid for Lukaku rejected by Everton a sceptical me thinks that season ticket sales not going too well at the moment.

1.) 16 Apr 2017 11:32:54
My season ticket at the Olympic stadium costs £1,100, I received an email a few weeks ago saying that season ticket prices have been frozen for next year. I am yet to renew, because there is no way I am paying that sort of money to watch us in the championship, which is how we've been playing recently.

If we read the article about Lukaku, it actually says that we've twice been rejected by him because he wants Champions League football, it doesn't actually say we've had a bid rejected recently.

My summer transfer window would be buying proven premiership players and selling the deadwood in our team.

We need a goalkeeper, both Adrian and Randolph have been responsible for costing us points this season. Sign Jack Butland

Sell Masuaku, who has been a poor addition, not bad going forward but defensively is a liability. Sign Kearon Gibbs

Sign Domagoj Vida who is a versatile defender that is solid all across the back four.

We have desperately needed a right back in the last three transfer windows, Sam Byram played well there against Swansea but again yesterday he showed his petulant side getting sent off for a stupid first yellow. Sign Pablo Zabaleta on a free

Let Mark Noble go, he has been a loyal servant to the club and after last season we were all thinking he could potentially get and England call up but this year, he has been sloppy. Play Kouyate and Obiang in central midfield and give Edmilison Fernandes, Reece Oxford and Havard Nordtveit game time.

Sell Feghouli, he has shown some bright sparks this year but frankly he doesn't work hard enough for the team, doesn't score enough, and doesn't create enough. Sign Gylfi Sigurdsson

Sell both Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho, if Sakho could stay fit I'd probably keep him but his injury record is worse than Carrolls over the last two seasons and Valencia just isn't good enough. Sign Michy Batshuayi on loan from Chelsea with an option to buy, he is young, talented and has a point to prove in the premiership. I'd also look to sign Kelechi Iheanacho on loan from Manchester City with an option to buy (although I know this is probably a huge long shot) and Martin Braithwaite as the untested attacking player in the window.

2.) 16 Apr 2017 22:06:04
Agree with everything you said and some great shouts in there. I would keep noble not in first 11 but a leader in the dressing room, signings I would like would be
Oxlain chamberlain

Selling wise were do I start, it would be easier give my line up
Byram reid Gibson Cresswell
Kouatye obiang
Antonio oxlain lanzini

3.) 16 Apr 2017 22:07:07
I would also give bilic the boot and bring in pulis.

4.) 17 Apr 2017 12:30:45
Defoe on a free. No brainer for me.
In even consider demba ba on the cheap.

I know mikes mentioned Mertens and bruma before not sure how likely they would be to sign for us but got to be in the mix both quality.

Definitely need some more pace few others to consider Allan st maximin,
Joshua king.

Obviously need a Rb we've been linked to a few most notably kevin malcuit.

CBs to consider maguire Gibson smalling sakho.

I do like rb leipzigs transfer strategy of signing lots of promising young players seems to have worked very well for them. Naby keita and Emil forsberg are both quality they also beat a lot of English teams to oliver burke.

5.) 17 Apr 2017 12:41:14
I do like pickford aswell been awhile since we've splashed out on a keeper fits the bill nicely young English and quality.

6.) 17 Apr 2017 15:01:02
Interesting stat with regards to getting rid of noble last time we won a game without him was 847 days ago.

7.) 17 Apr 2017 21:06:42
That would be because bilic never drops him lol

If we get defoe back we may aswell ask Paul Ince to come and coach us

Reece Burke has to be given a shot next year

With a much better keeper our defence is instantly miles better

Some of the signings we made were good players for thier clubs last year ayew and fonte in partIceland looked top notch but they come to us and look average poor tactics and poor training.

8.) 22 Apr 2017 17:42:54
Trust me AI94 I understand what you're saying but we'd be a better side without noble and at this precise time someone would pay 6-7 million for him somebody like Brighton or one of the other clubs coming up this year.

28 May 2015 20:56:25
I feel very sad at losing some of the young players today in particular Danny Potts. It was only a short while ago he was player of the month and then BFS hardly started him - what a waste - I would like to say thanks and wish him all the best where he ends up playing his footbal

1.) 29 May 2015 09:37:16
Have to agree, the others not so surprising but I did think Potts would step up to a first team role. especially following his Dad

24 Feb 2018 16:42:04
Me thinks that's 1 2 4 get.

03 Feb 2018 17:02:32
That was a poor performance 2 individual errors and a bit of a worldy too many balls given away and too many headless chickens

This is a relegation dog fight now till the end of the season.

1.) 03 Feb 2018 17:13:06
It has been a relegation fight since about October. no surprises that we were outfought in the midfield today considering we only have 2 out an out centre midfielders available today. If only we had been given a window of time to bring in players to strengthen obvious weaknesses.

2.) 03 Feb 2018 17:22:51
Some glaring weakness out there today which we could have addressed but chose not too. We desperately need players back and in the summer IF we survive we have got to start addressing the issue of bringing in quality players and stop trying to cut corners and buy cheap. going to be a long fight till summer.

3.) 03 Feb 2018 17:38:59
Gold and Sullivan are expecting us to limp to
the so called 40 point safety
On today’s viewing it’s going to go to the wire
They av risked our premiership survival for
their money making scheme
We all knew we needed to strengthen in midfield
kouyate is very hit and miss lately and noble
who I value very much tires and this could
cost us our place in the premiership next season.

4.) 03 Feb 2018 17:59:21
That's what you get for a poor transfer window, there's harder games than this to play, only the owners to blame.

5.) 03 feb 2018 17:59:57
im telling everybody nobles legs have gone he's paceless and cannot go premiership pace for ninety minutes and the money they get paid i'm afraid that just ain't good enough p. s i'm not saying he cost us but him and kiuyate ain't goid enough plain and simple no sugar coating he played well two games ago and all that simply not premier league standard.

6.) 03 Feb 2018 19:22:08
As long as we saved a few quid in the window it's all that natters and the board will do EXACTLY the same again in the summer. Anderlecht have made it known there asking price for dendoncker so we wi bid about £10m less trying to get a deal and he will go elsewhere. Exactly the same for every other player we go for and fewer and fewer clubs will do business with us. Brady upset Leicester hence we list out in Slimani and we all know about sporting Lisbon and carvallho!

01 Feb 2018 09:45:13
No doubt Tony Henry will be gone by the end of the day and so he should

If Mr Sullivan, Mr Gold or Lady Brady are reading this can I suggest you contact IRONMIKE to replace him ASAP.

1.) 01 Feb 2018 12:12:07
Lady Brady? you having a laugh, shes as much a lady as am I am a Spurs fan.

2.) 01 Feb 2018 12:59:21
Warrington you turn coat lol.

31 Jan 2018 11:35:58
I thought given the injuries etc we were going to be lucky to get any points last night - happily surprised with the teams determination

Thought Mario looked good and new when to pass the ball Noble looked determined and to my mind 2 things must happen Collins must have a contract extension and with Arthur missing for the next 5 games Declan Rice must be given a run in the team.

1.) 31 Jan 2018 12:55:58
Agreed and if we can get Dendoncker (CB and Mid player in one) maybe maddison/ cairney and a striker we may just do ok till the end of the season at which time MOYES can sweep clean.

13 Jan 2018 16:52:14
Macavannie and Cottee Harston and Kitson take a bow Lanzini a Aurnoutovic.

1.) 14 Jan 2018 08:21:35
Bkkhammer, your comment was exactly the thought that was in my mind! I have a natural suspicious nature, which although not always good, sometimes helpful as well! My first thought when I heard was, he was eying up Arnie, Ibrahimavic is finished, Arnie to me is a very close replica of Ibrahimivic, to me Arnie is a front man, not a winger as I have said previously, he's now getting more recognition banging in goals and assists with us in a short time than he ever did at Stoke in 3 years! the big guns will be watching, let's hope we can hang on to him and also hope they won't go for a double with Lanzini👎👎👎.

Phil Barcelona only signed him in January this year for €10m and he's only played 1 game obvious loan deal to give him experience the same we do with our youngsters

If we can get him for a season and he is as good as he is supposed to be then all the better for us.

{Ed002's Note - He would need a work permit and I don't know how he would qualify for one.}

The cost of any work on the stadium will depend on what is done

The cheapest option would be to copy what city did at the Etihad I. E. Take away the staging remove the running track and dig out the area of the pitch and rebuild the inner part of the stadium. This would allow more lounges and the possibility of a tiered standing area adjacent to the pitch it would also allow the closeness to the game that the Boleyn gave us.

Moving from Stratford would entail a longer gestation time before we occupied any new ground it may also mean going back to having poor transport access that Stratford has improved over Upton Park

It will also mean much higher construction costs. No doubt the debate will go on and on.

My local club Maidenhead United have been at their ground longer than any other team on the world but it is only this year after all the time of their existence that they have made the fifth tear of football if they managed the fourth tear they are going to have to move to improve

my point is if you want to get on you improve your lot the bigger the family gets the bigger the home needed

These are just my thoughts without any emotion of history and a feel of belonging to the old family home and the cold hard facts of football today.

Curbs would make sense of course if it was a manager only the name Roeder came to mind I physically shuddered at the thought.

Lots of papers reporting this thought he was a good buy at the time but seems he slowed up after coming back from the Euros and then unfortunately gave away too many pens was definitely getting back to form before the injury and maybe won't be the same again

Let's look on the bright side no excuse now not to give Ginge a contract extension.

Hi Warrington some good points in your post and the one thing DGS have always shown is loyalty to the manager unless of course things get so bad allah Grant and Slav

Assuming we do stay up then I think a 3 year Contract for Moyes will be forthcoming of course if he wants it and that could be the start of a 3 to 5 year plan. This will also allow DGS to finally sell out hopefully to Tabor consortium.

I have been posting all season about how poor Hart is. He is static doesn't save shots - Saturday apart from 2 catches from high crosses he didn't make a save except the one he presented back to Burnley for their 3rd goal and as far as England goes you don't have to look much further than Pope Burnleys reserve keeper

I agree that Declan Rice is the one bright spark of this season I looked back at the 3 man defence when we beat Spurs at Wembley - Kouyate Rice and if I remember rightly Reid with Adrian in goal seemed pretty solid that night.

Watched the whole of the game and reckon it was just because he once played for Man U

Actually thought he still looked quite good

Too many punts out of defence and the ball coming straight back currently watching Fulham v Wolves and it's marked how much of the play is on the ground.
