C&h reporting we could sign JWP and Mctominay within the next 72 hours.

French publication reported we have opened talked for Wahi.

Iron.Al

1.) 10 Aug 2023 16:33:58
One or the other apparently. More money for moyes to waste

2.) 10 Aug 2023 18:56:08
Depends how you read into the quote on the site however ex has now suggested the same.

Doesn't bode well for the Paqueta situation. Considering soucek has signed a new contract aswell.

Apprently the club are holding out for 95m for Paqueta if you add in the Rice, Scamacca and Vlasic money looking at around 230m brought in plus what ever was available before the sales. Crazy money hopefully that gives steidten a chance to bring in some young talent.

3.) 13 Aug 2023 02:31:28
Please not MCTOMINAY especially for the money being rumoured to be FOFANA is on a different planet than him but he's not a premiership proven player could somebody please tell me why why why the FU-K did STEIDTEN come to WEST HAM when we have got a complete CONTROL FREAK in MOYES that the foreign talent STEIDTEN has spotted SERGEANT MOYES has told the other CONTROL FREAK JIM MY "SULLY" CRANKY he doesn't want them as they either haven't played for UTD or in the premier league.

4.) 14 Aug 2023 00:14:10
We bought Scamacca last year from outside of the Premier league, nobody had heard of him and guess what ….it didn’t work out . How many times have you seen Fofana play and what makes you so certain he’ll be better than what we’ve already got? I don’t understand why you would think somebody is on a different planet to options who have played in the PL?

5.) 16 Aug 2023 15:44:31
McTominay played on left wing other day; if he's happy with it then fine. If not, come to the Olympic stadium lad!

6.) 16 Aug 2023 16:18:50
Paqueta slightly different position but same background though mate. He is going to get us 100k more. Or stay and be brilliant hopefully.

04 Aug 2023 11:32:10
According to Alan Nixon, we've requested the medical info for both Maguire and Mctominay.

Looks like Moyes is getting his way, shame because there are better, cheaper, younger options available.

Iron.Al

1.) 04 Aug 2023 14:04:00
I bloody hope not!
Apparently, Tim Steidten has promised “signings in two days”.

2.) 04 Aug 2023 15:35:20
Where did you hear that tin? C&H's source confirm the medical request is true for Maguire but not the case with Mctominay.

One thing I do know is the media are having an absolute field day. Daily star saying that moyes and Steidten came to blows? what an absolute circus. Honestly I didn't want Rice to leave but with the fee and Stiedten coming in I was optimistic we'd push on but instead we get this.

3.) 04 Aug 2023 21:13:19
I don’t know the strength of it, but West Ham Network were claiming an exclusive earlier today, quoting Steidten. He didn’t say which players. Just described them as “signings”.

4.) 05 Aug 2023 01:38:46
Alvarez is most likely signed I hear.

5.) 05 Aug 2023 01:40:22
More likely to be Alvarez and Fofana than the Utd lads.

6.) 05 Aug 2023 01:52:17
Nixon may have pulled a rabbit out of the hat there, from what I hear.

7.) 05 Aug 2023 14:54:41
Must have been David Nixon ?if you’re old enough to remember who he was??⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

8.) 05 Aug 2023 20:50:41
Exactly my dear Chelmsford!

9.) 08 Aug 2023 11:14:47
Steidten meant he is going to sign two autographs.

10.) 08 Aug 2023 19:51:55
I'd rather MAQUIRE than MCTOMINAY a million percent.no sorry £35 million percent.⚒⚒⚒?‍♂️

20 Jul 2023 13:14:32
Romano has given the here we go on Carlos Borges to West Ham, 19 year old from Man city, 28 goals and 16 assists in 32 games. 14m could turn into a real bargain.

Surprised Cresswell is looking likely to go but happy to see we are being linked with some top young LBs. Just need Emerson to play like he's playing in a cup final every week.

Iron.Al

1.) 20 Jul 2023 14:17:00
Now that is some good news on Borges. He is some player for the future. Moyes must be spitting blood.

2.) 20 Jul 2023 14:45:17
Wow, Borges is an exciting prospect and at £14m a bargain. This has TIM written all over it because this is not a MOYES choice. TIM "The Pearl" has done it again, grabbing young talent that can be sold on for massive profits

3.) 20 Jul 2023 15:01:21
Not sure if anyone has told Moyes yet ? just need Noble nd Steidten to keep Moyes away from talking to him before he's signed.

On a more serious note Exwhuemployee reported our interest in Borges a couple months back so maybe even a rob Newman recommendation.

We are being linked to Adrein Truffert again 21 year old LB, remember us being linked to him same time we signed Aguerd from Rennes. Very promising.

4.) 20 Jul 2023 15:26:49
Man City want a buy back clause in the Borges deal so basically if he turns out to be absolutely brilliant then there’s nothing we can do of Man City want him back, just feels like we’re the ones developing him and giving him game time which City can’t do given the size of their squad ?

{Ed002's Note - It is not as simple as that and not how buy back clauses work.}

5.) 21 Jul 2023 15:59:31
We have always had links with the Borgias in recent years.

14 Jul 2023 12:13:39
Ornstein reporting we've made am enquiry for EDSON ALVAREZ, bid expected to follow.

He actually outperforms Rice in a lot of metrics granted in the Eredivise.

Iron.Al

1.) 14 Jul 2023 13:47:36
Real Betis have shown a ‘formal interest’ in West Ham United midfielder Pablo Fornals, with Manuel Pellegrini keen on signing the player.

2.) 14 Jul 2023 15:40:36
Always liked Pablo, can't help but feel that Moyes coached the flare out of him crazy to think in his first season for villareal he scored 4 goals and laid on 13 assists.

Would be sad to see him go as he genuinely has passion for the club but if we can get 15-20m for him then reinvest in younger players wouldn't be the worst thing to happen.

3.) 14 Jul 2023 19:28:54
Rice coaches the flair out of every player he comes across. No wonder Benrahma and Paqueta have issues with him.

4.) 14 Jul 2023 20:12:24
I think you mean Moyes, not Rice.
If I’m honest, although he’s a really nice bloke, I’ve always thought Fornals was too inconsistent. He’s weak on the ball and seems to lose the ball a helluva lot and his shooting accuracy could do with improvement. I don’t think he’d be a big miss and I’d rather the club had 15 million than Fornals.

5.) 14 Jul 2023 22:04:29
Haha! Yep, meant Moyse. I blame the second malt whisky.

6.) 15 Jul 2023 11:39:22
So as things stand its looking like fornals, rice, lanzini and possibly downes will be gone which leaves soucek and paqueta. Paqueta has just changed agents? And soucek wants a pay rise? Apparently we are closing in on declan rice replacement.Denis zakaria? Not so sure about that

7.) 15 Jul 2023 14:57:02
Moyes SEZ seemples make Any and Bowen midfield wingers then play Vlasic and Scamacca up front lol

8.) 15 Jul 2023 15:06:22
Rofl and it seems meeting planned with agents of scamacca in the next 48 hours with a view to moving yo roma?

9.) 15 Jul 2023 19:55:45
Finalize some Bunga bungas to make sure he goes eh mate

10.) 19 Jul 2023 11:56:14
Would he literally be able to take the heat in Italy now

11.) 26 Jul 2023 21:54:59
And we have a Cretan ( sic ) in charge still.

28 Jun 2023 14:53:45
Rumoured that with Tim Steidten as our new director of football he'd look to bring in Jonathan Tah. Shame he can't bring diaby and frimpong with him.

Iron.Al

1.) 29 Jun 2023 12:40:05
The sooner we get him in place the better. We might then see some movement in the market when its not just left to dithering DAVE.

2.) 29 Jun 2023 13:40:16
Should be interesting to see who has the control in the transfers. Its no good Steidten identifying good players for Moyes to refuse similar to when he's refused Caicedo, Hlozek, julian Alvarez. Or Steidten will sign players and Moyes will give them minimal game time in Europe playing out of position Ie Downes.

Apprnelty Dortmund think Edson Alvarez is to expensive so might be an opportunity for us there. I hope so.

Sad to see Rice go but just want it done now so we can start bringing in players with the funds.

3.) 29 Jun 2023 15:56:23
I reckon a bit of a bust up might be on the horizon once Moyes no longer controls transfers

4.) 29 Jun 2023 16:02:13
ADAM HLOZEK was such a waste letting him go to Leverkusen

5.) 29 Jun 2023 17:47:06
Completely agree on both Oshee, we had an opportunity go sign Hlozek when some of the biggest clubs in Europe had been looking at him. Remember reports of Moyes not thinking he was good enough or not ready. Just short-sightedness and stubbornness that it wasn't his pick it sounded like to me. Very frustrating after all his talk about following a model similar to the RB teams in buying young talent.

I Hope Sulli is taking a step back now and allowing proper footballing people take control of football matters, and if it comes to it allow steidten to bring in a manager maybe even Alonso?

6.) 29 Jun 2023 19:31:05
Yeah, apparently Steidten was at the helm of Alonso's appointment

7.) 29 Jun 2023 23:11:16
Downes was infamously played on the wing if my memory serves me well.

8.) 29 Jun 2023 23:19:23
Just read this article on transfers he's over seen at leverkusen and bremen, If he makes those kind of signings for us it would take us to the next level. wouldn't be letting Moyes anywhere near the Rice money he'd happily blow it on ward prowse, Maguire and Mctominay.

9.) 03 Jul 2023 23:36:47
I don't think DOWNES has played in his favoured position and if we sell him it will be shocking as I've never seen him play badly in his few starts and cameo roles.⚒⚒⚒

11 Apr 2024 19:40:34
Would have thought Aguerd or Ogbonna would have been better options at lcb over cress, he had an alright 30 minutes against wolves but away to leverkusen different story needs to make up for frankfurt though.

Iron.Al

1.) 11 Apr 2024 19:58:27
I have some thoughts on that line up.

That is all. ?

2.) 11 Apr 2024 21:02:59
Could have been 1-0 up after great run from Antonio
Then pass to Kudus who could have tucked it away. Antonio having great first half, love his physicality up front, bloody Paqueta could have been red carded wtf
Is the matter with him, misses home game next week!
Fab playing really well COYI⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️

3.) 11 Apr 2024 21:23:26
In the Dippers game, I do like the look of that Scamacca fella, looks decent.

We should make enquiries this summer.

?

4.) 11 Apr 2024 21:27:52
I wonder who scored 2 goals for ATALANTA v the scousers tonight.SCAMACCA the one who was surplus to requirements by DD????⚒⚒⚒

5.) 11 Apr 2024 21:39:50
ANTONIO has constantly give the ball away tonight.⚒⚒⚒

6.) 11 Apr 2024 21:50:46
Not one player left anything out there. Every player gave everything.Plaudits must go to our team.

7.) 11 Apr 2024 22:13:34
Yeah, they did try hard and showed some real application especially Fabs, but Leverkusen were just coasting in all reality.

Moyes set us up to not even attempt to win that game, 1 feeble shot on target and 1 corner all game is testimony to that. I don't care about injuries etc blah, blah, blah. You reap what you sow and Moyes is reaping the rewards of a microscopic and sub standard playing squad all of his own making.

Let's be honest, we're probably not going to keep a clean sheet at home, so it's looking bleak. Especially when he sets us up again in his usual manner then is surprised when those pesky Germans just sit back and don't succumb to his masterful counter attacking tactical ploys.

8.) 11 Apr 2024 23:45:21
Well, I thought we were crap. Not the fault of the players. They just followed instructions. Fab saved us from coming away 4 or 5 nil losers. Still there was one hilariously funny high point during the whole evening. It was when the TNT match commentator, Ian Darke, said during his relentlessly boring praise for David ‘Clueless’ Moyes, “he’s had setbacks at Man Utd and Sunderland, but also many, many successes as well, especially during those 11 years at Everton.” Er, name just one of them Ian, you idiot. A prime example of how those in the media have invented a “successful” CV for their pin up boy. Totally undeserved, but funny all the same. I cannot wait to see the back of this undeserving incompetent buffoon. COYI!

9.) 12 Apr 2024 05:42:26
Moyes on current availability status: “it’s football isn’t it, there’s a chance you are always going to have injuries and suspensions at this time of year.” If that’s true ( it is) then why didn’t we strengthen during the transfer window?

10.) 12 Apr 2024 07:22:14
First of all, I reckon the team played their socks off last night, fighting and challenging for every ball, and in all honesty we were beaten by a much better team, which by the way, TS basically built. If memory serves we were really interested In ALEX GRIMALDO (who at the time was at BENFICA) and Jeremy Frimpong but David Moyes said No thanks! Big Mistakes. Although we tried hard Am not sure how we were set up last night was the best but, its difficult to judge unless your in that situation. In all honesty, we were setup to try and stifle them, but that didn;t work, it just encouraged them onto us and we got what we deserved. No Paqueta, Emerson and possibly no Bowen next week. Why did Cresswell start AGAIN. He is wayyyyyyyyy past his best buit we still play him. All in all disappointing and oh yeah, who was this SCAMACCA FELLA

11.) 12 Apr 2024 07:54:32
And as for DAVID MOYES commenst on injuries etc, YET AGAIN, He had the chance in the last window to strengthen us and all window all we heard about was this player and that player and what did we do, KALVIN PHILLIPS! Not being able to get the best out of players such as SCAMACCA! For me, this is one of the main reasons why DAVID MOYES has to go because of his STUBBORN, PETULANT Attitude when he can't have players he wants. We've seen how he treats players who are bought against his wishes, we've seen how he always sets up to DEFEND and hope for a goal against top teams, again and again we have seen his dour tactics and inability to change things mid game, its his poor decision making and poor substitutions ie 3-1 up at Newcastle, playing really well and he brings on PHILLIPS.Disaster! For all these reasons for me his time is up

12.) 12 Apr 2024 16:46:57
Tinlegs, one thing we weren't was crap. Sorry, you are talking out of your backside. EVERY player looked exhausted after that game, and every player gave everything. Surely, you must have seen that, or were you watching another game?

13.) 12 Apr 2024 17:50:00
Brooking. They were exhausted because leverkusen run them ragged.

14.) 12 Apr 2024 19:01:49
Therefore, they were not crap, and did give everything then!

15.) 13 Apr 2024 02:13:15
It is Mike! If you actually read what I said, it’s obvious I thought the TACTICS were crap, not the players. What part of this don’t you understand Brooking?
“Well, I thought we were crap. Not the fault of the players. They just followed instructions.”

16.) 13 Apr 2024 08:06:01
Unfortunately Tin, Moyes employed the exact tactics Alonso expected and Leverkusen have only conceded 1 goal all season to those tactics. QUARABAG in the last round had a real go at them and were minutes away from beating Leverkusen

17.) 13 Apr 2024 08:29:31
Agreed Osh. In other words, the tactics were crap. Moyes stuck to the only script he knows and we paid the price. No surprises there, but according to Mike, if you come off the pitch looking totally shagged, then a two nil defeat is ok.

18.) 13 Apr 2024 15:58:18
Brooking10, Sensible post totally agree can see you understand the game! Most want Moyes gone me included, but repeating it in every post???
Was in a Pub in the Cotswolds watching our away game at Newcastle, 4 Derby fans couldn’t believe that a lot us wanted him gone, then mentioned the Euro success and League position, I was able to tell them exactly why when Ant was subbed and Phillips on, the rest is history. Told them I knew he would bring subs on regardless of score around the 65 minute mark! ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

19.) 14 Apr 2024 05:41:56
??? At least it’s more relevant than your obvious relentless campaign to disagree with absolutely everything I say, no matter what. I find it funny. ???

14 Mar 2024 16:22:36
Hopefully Jwp the training cone is dropped tonight, want to see front 3 of kudus Antonio and Bowen, with Paqueta in 10 free role.

Zouma and Cresswell down the left side of our defence is seriously worrying, especially considering we should be playing higher up tonight.

Iron.Al

1.) 14 Mar 2024 16:56:24
Kudus, Bowen and Pac with Antonio up top. I'd rather actually Bowen on the left and Paq in the middle but it's Moyes and he does what he likes no matter how wrong it is. Cresswell alongside Zouma is a worry.

2.) 14 Mar 2024 19:29:01
Why oh why don't we play like this all the time? That's a ridiculously good goal from Kudus btw.

3.) 14 Mar 2024 19:56:39
Cannot understand all the criticism of Cresswell, Soucek or Antonio, we’re bloody W Ham for Christ sake not a top 4 club! Who would have predicted this score line, yes entirely agree why can’t we always play like this??⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

4.) 14 Mar 2024 20:22:20
Anthonio back to his best tonight he didn't fall over once. Thought the side looked more balanced. Shame about thee Alvoraz booking though

5.) 14 Mar 2024 23:11:20
@billy, we don't play like this all the time because our manager is David Moyes. It's got to be one of the most frustrating things about him, when we go and attack teams we actually look dangerous but he always reverts back to his default anti football tactics.

6.) 15 Mar 2024 05:46:44
Er, Cresswell is now too slow, Soucek is only in the team as a result of the odd goal he pops up to score and his heading ability, and Antonio is supposed to be a centre forward whose main role is to make the net bulge - he doesn’t score. That’s why they attract criticism.

7.) 15 Mar 2024 08:17:35
Yeah and you’re the main critic of everything, if you won the Lottery you’d complain you had to buy a ticket to win it???

8.) 15 Mar 2024 08:33:20
Having Paqueta and Alvarez in midfield makes up for Souceks lack of ability on the ball and allows him to play to his strengths which is in both boxes and he's not to bad a breaking up play either.

I never want to see jwp and Soucek starting in the same team again.

9.) 15 Mar 2024 10:38:21
Chelmsford: “Yeah and you’re the main critic of everything, if you won the Lottery you’d complain you had to buy a ticket to win it”.
So you don’t think Cresswell is now too slow, Soucek is limited as a midfield player, and you believe Antonio’s current goal return is OK? Really?

10.) 16 Mar 2024 23:04:00
I see chelms a few wins and your behind the MOYES gravy train FREIBURG have won 1 Bundesliga game this year and they did draw with MUNICH but they need a complete overhaul of that squad as they are dreadful and without KANE they wouldn't have won half the games they have but I don't give 2 hoots about them but we need a new manager to develop our Youth as we have 5 or 6 possible very good players but under MOYES they won't be given their chance and CRESSWELL Scores a goal and in your opinion he's decent you are very limited on your judgement of footballers talent He was washed up 2 years ago and is a liability Soucek has scored a worldie that would never happen again but the reason ALVAEEZ picks up so many cards is he's doing JWP and SOUCEKS job as well as his own but we will see up against the first decent team in Europe so far.⚒⚒⚒

11.) 17 Mar 2024 02:10:32
Well said mate. Now, where did I put that lottery ticket?

12.) 21 Mar 2024 14:40:11
You entered a Lotto when you signed up as a Hammers' fan. lol

26 Feb 2024 19:36:06
Hope Moyes isn't risking Paqueta to save his own skin, if he gets another bad injury we'll be out of europa fast and sliding down the table even faster.

Iron.Al

20 Dec 2023 21:46:51
Pathetic performance well done DM.

Iron.Al

1.) 21 Dec 2023 02:10:56
Yes, well done Dave, keep it up. After all, you’ve turned a corner, and hopefully found the door marked ‘exit’.

15 Dec 2023 16:58:27
Funny how all the Moyes in camp came out of the woodwork after that win, especially when it proves all the Moyes out lot were right considering its us that have been clamouring for us to go out and attack teams and not sit In a low block, hoofing it ala Moyesball.

As for those that think we should temper our expectation and we've never had it so good, we've also spent more than any other time in history, Moyes has spent more than any other manager in our history. Our expectation is exactly where it should be and that's challenging for European places, not getting played off the park by lesser teams most weeks and playing some of the worst football in the league to watch.

Iron.Al

1.) 16 Dec 2023 06:38:57
Well you’ve been in Europe for the last 3 seasons in a row, won one European trophy, got to semis another year and now in last 16 this year having won 5/6 games.

Your 2-3 points off European places and Newcastle/Man Utd (who have spent insane amounts of money by the way) .

Based on all of that, I’d say you are achieving your expectation of “challenging for European places”.

Also, how has spending a billion in one year worked out for Chelsea so far?

The football might be dry, but trying to detract from what he’s achieved is a joke frankly

2.) 16 Dec 2023 12:40:00
Not detracting from what he has achieved. Getting us into Europe in his first full season was a major achievement, the second season again was going great I think we were top 4 and in last 16 of europa at the midway point, if I was then to be critical we didn't invest at all that January, Moyes decided to wait until the summer and we slid down into 7th and were knocked out in the semis, again still a good achievement but you could argue if we invested we could have won it.

The poor league form continued into his 3rd season spending the majority of it in a relgation battle, Moyes did sight/blame that we did bring in a lot of new players in one window (his choice to do so) . However we did win a trophy we were expected to challenge for. So credit there which probably kept him the job.

The point i was making is when we attack we look better we've got the players to blow teams away however Moyes continually opts for low block. There has been so many games this season where we look clueless much like the last. Fortunately we got very lucky in some of the games so our league position hasn't suffered much.

I think a lot of fans see we have some very good players that could challenge for europa and entertain under a more attack minded set up.

3.) 17 Dec 2023 20:43:50
We haven't played a team worth talking about in Europe yet so the easy ride should be over.⚒⚒⚒

4.) 18 Dec 2023 06:57:08
Agreed. Desperate Dave has been riding his luck so far, so let’s see what happens now. Funny how incompetent coaches draw an easy ride. Just look at Southgate’s England group in his latest draw compared to the other groups.

Sully bottled the Osman deal.

Disgraceful how we've lost this one to Brighton when he wanted to come here and all the recruitment team were agreed he was the main target at LW. Have a sneaking feeling that Moyes wasn't that bothered about this one though.

The left-side was supposed to be where we need strengthened and we are letting both Benrahma and Fornals go. Let's hope this mystery loan deal doesn't fall through, also gives moyes an excuse to keep pushing paqueta out on the left and keep soucek nd jwp centrally.

Imo we played better because we pressed aggressively, were brave it got the crowd up for it. Unfortunately most weeks we sit back and are far to cautious.

If we approached more games like this with players like bowen, paq Antonio, kudus we'd blow teams away.

Nothing to do with Paq not being there he's aggressive and likes to press would actually suit him more.

Downes is a better player than set piece merchant jwp.

Sure I seen something about how Moyes was saying we have a very small squad which is his own doing. Isolating players, no rotation rarely using bench. Can't wait to see the back of him.

I'm hoping jwp goes back to Southampton if they come up.

The decision that annoyed me the most was the ref blowing for a foul on the keeper as Kudus took his shot on the edge of the box. Var if used correctly would not have ruled that out.

The Alvarez card was also a joke, then he bottled the second yellow for Zaniola. Really poor officiating again.

Having Paqueta and Alvarez in midfield makes up for Souceks lack of ability on the ball and allows him to play to his strengths which is in both boxes and he's not to bad a breaking up play either.

I never want to see jwp and Soucek starting in the same team again.
