Is it true that Leicester are also looking at Vaz Te to buy and Poyet on loan?

I like most am quite happy with the business done to date and although I know there is an emphasis on competition for places I cannot fathom who will be dropped and why.
We all know that Matt Jarvis tries but hasn't cut the cheese as yet like he did the previous season with Wolves but would it be fair to say ( similarly with Downing) that they only had one man to aim for in Big Andy at that this would have proven difficult? I think to much focus was put on getting the balls played in from the wings last season and sometimes we need to take a different option or teams can read us like a book. Even now we are looking for attacking full backs and wingers. let's consider our buys this season. Zarate who will not be the best option for balls played in from the wings apart from picking up Big Andy's knock-downs. let's then look at Kouyate a holding midfielder / defensive player. Who will he replace in midfield? Noble? I think not and hope not! Will he play them together? Again, I hope not or it limits us to the wings. Where will Ravel play? If he plays in midfield what formation will we play? If we play like last year which was a 4 - 5 - 1 in effect. this is the only formation we can play to incorporate Ravel and if we do this - where does Nolan and Diame play? I think the ideal attacking formation ( if we need to adopt a more attcaking style of play would be 4-4-2 right? I'm just spit balling here. So the ideal formation as it stands right now will be the following - Demel or replacement at RB, Reid, Tomkins or Collins a CB, Creswell at LB, Noble ( DMC) Kouyate (DMC), Morrison (MC), Diame ( RM) Valencia (F) Carrol (F) - where does Nolan, Poyet, Jarvis and Downing slot in and what happens with Zarate?

1.) Gd post s/a /hammer been thinking about some of our buys;
has you pointed out we was very predictable last season until the transfer window closes it a guessing game.
really need to see who leaves first and whom comes in.
there is a lot I would like to go into but I ain't going to.
think we are going to get our rb /lb getting forward more this season and our wingers need to be aware that a/c needs not always be playing with his back to goal looking for freekicks n knock downs.
when the wingers break get in a good cross he will win that ball with morrison/nolan following up even noble playing as a/m very simlar to nolan but more legs morrison can open teams up but not defensive enough for some sides nolan doesn't in my opinion always have 90 min in him. plus take noble of freekicks/corners.
we have brought in t/s to sort out the goal problem need more goals from strikers/midfield/defenders

Iron mike. Wherever you are going, take care mate. You are more than likely the best contributor to this site with useful and believable posts.
I'm guilty of only checking and contributing to this site closer to or during the transfer window.
Have to admit, I had some derogatory comments about Sam before the season began but find myself eating my words. Stands to reason why Sam is a football manager and I'm not. This has been the most exciting seasons and one of the seasons I have some founded optimism. Diafra Sakho has proven an awesome buy and in my opinion on of the bargains over the last 5 years including buys at other clubs. I think Valencia is doing well and will get better. I think top 8 is doable this year depending on how we do in next 6 games which aren't that challenging on paper.

No Crouch for me! I just don't rate him. He brings no additional quality to the squad at all. It only encourages Sam to go back to old long ball tactics when he's devoid of attacking ideas. We don't want this style of play.

I agree with coyi13. I think additional signing of konoplyanka may be a bridge too far having apparently already signed Valencia for £12m. My understanding was that the kitty this year was £20m and I think we have already overspent. My guess would be all signings now may be loan players. I hope I'm wrong but that's how I think things stand t the moment. My belief is we approached both Valencia and konoplyanka not to sign both but to cove our bases. Kind of first come first serve.

I,m still curious where the money came from although certainly not complaining. We must have 3 or 4 players we re close to offloading.
