All interesting stuff, we are vying with spurs in making a cut price bid (4m) for konplyanka in January; we are definetly looking for goal scoring winger as my earlier post, scout seen watching victor ruiz on loan at villareal, cecjaks at young boys, and paco alcacer at Valencia, remember duvan Zapata, well Napoli have offered him back to us on loan ( perhaps not clever) Zakaria baccali abelgium under spotlight. ; konko has not been forgotten; spurs are in for berahino. this could open the door for Andros townsend; pundit columns have us watching danny ings and Van dijk; We have no current interest in Ings, and Van djik prefers celtic anyway; Kouyate pushing his pals babacar and kara mbodj. both decent players; further to previous post man united prefer ron vlar, Bruno martins indi and jagielka to reid, and arsenal are strong favourites to land schar ; quite where this leaves reid I don't know; I understand reid has been offered 4 year contract with 2 year option at around 68k a week, we all love reid, but he's in danger of being silly greedy as there are a lot of decent centre backs around; dgs are being bombarded with possibilities; are we looking at kiko gk espanyol ? or contemplating a cheeky bid for peter cech? or is he on his way to besiktas; let's hope for good result on Saturday and hopefully 3 points, Regards to all; leaving uk tonight, post again when possible IRONMIKE

Konoplyanka / Townsend / Both would be amazing signings, as too would someone like Petr Cech! can't see any of these happening though to be honest. let's wait and see.

I'm guilty of only checking and contributing to this site closer to or during the transfer window.
Have to admit, I had some derogatory comments about Sam before the season began but find myself eating my words. Stands to reason why Sam is a football manager and I'm not. This has been the most exciting seasons and one of the seasons I have some founded optimism. Diafra Sakho has proven an awesome buy and in my opinion on of the bargains over the last 5 years including buys at other clubs. I think Valencia is doing well and will get better. I think top 8 is doable this year depending on how we do in next 6 games which aren't that challenging on paper.
