I hope we don't sign Crouch he's 33 and hasn't exactly been a prolific goal scorer for stoke, seems like a desperate move if we do sign him.
I'd prefer for us to get a striker with pace so we don't rely on lumping the ball to a big target man in the hope runners feed off him but I guess needs must and BFS has to get results so he will probably use his tried and tested methods.

We can't sign Cambell on loan which is a shame as he looked sharp at the World Cup but Valencia could make his mark with Carroll out of the team but we still need back up in attack.

Looking forward to watching the game today hopefully the lad put on a better performance for us.

No Crouch for me! I just don't rate him. He brings no additional quality to the squad at all. It only encourages Sam to go back to old long ball tactics when he's devoid of attacking ideas. We don't want this style of play.

Have to agree with above posters in regards to crouch seems better playing football on the floor rather than trying to win aerial battles for all his height.
