Well the Irons are back in Wales tomorrow - I'm really hopeful it is going to be a better showing than this time last year when we were thumped at Swansea, I think our squad is stronger and really looking forward to seeing them - I'll be like a child in a sweetshop - here's to 3 points - COYI.

WHUWALES

1.) 08 Mar 2019 18:39:52
I’m going 0:3.

We should win it comfortably.

2.) 08 Mar 2019 20:49:04
0-3 that is very in-West Ham. I’m going for Cardiff to score first and we win 1-2 with a nail biting finish. Been a fan too long :)

3.) 09 Mar 2019 04:09:02
I meant un West Ham damn iPhone changing words.

4.) 09 Mar 2019 11:38:04
Our defence has been outstanding recently and we really need to deal with our goal difference imbalance to improve any chance of 7th.

. and, of course, I’m an optimist! 🙂.

5.) 09 Mar 2019 15:52:03
Well let’s hope I’m right after that first half.

6.) 09 Mar 2019 15:59:42
Good to be optimistic, I had to smile at the predictions though🤣but Sdl at the moment your right at 1-0 down, hope the final prediction is right😂⚒⚒⚒.

7.) 09 Mar 2019 16:04:55
Hernandez waste of space at moment get a Antonio on.

8.) 09 Mar 2019 16:23:07
Mercerl, Hernandez mostly always useless for me👎👎 Loves a bloody dive, cheating b———!

9.) 09 Mar 2019 16:42:24
Playing useless apparently apart from having most possession👎.

10.) 09 Mar 2019 16:49:21
Well I think that puts paid to 7th place.

11.) 09 Mar 2019 17:05:22
Again - every time we get anywhere near 7th or even 8th we way absolute garbage 4 defenders stood and watched the first goal and Frederick's forgot he was supposed to to move up the pitch for the second

How come every week it's Rice who looks anything at all at least he hit the post

Ah well Maidenhead won.

12.) 10 Mar 2019 09:00:25
we always bootle when we get close to 7th.

11 Jul 2018 13:17:32
Every summer, I get optimist that the new season will be different and we will finally achieve something maybe even win a cup -but boy, i can't wait for the season for once our transfer dealings are leaving me so excited and reading Ironmike it seems maybe one or 2 more to come with of course a departure here or there but i think this time is not just another false dawn but the start of something special - COYI.

I feel for Zabaleta must wish he had stayed at Man City - and Chicarito won't stay after January, will Lanzini and Antonio still want to be around this lot in January?
Shambles and clueless - no good blaming the stadium anymore, enough of the excuses and I was always behind SB but it has to be time to do the decent thing and go now - Arnautovic looks great for Austria what the hell are we coaching him to do - Ayew omg -.

WHUWALES

1.) 20 Oct 2017 23:01:39
Does anyone still thinks that Bilic should stay after watching that tonight?
It was awful, what's the record now, we have won 6 out of the last 20 odd games, if he stays we will go down no question
It's not enough that he is nice fella, got to go and go now and if we get the right person then we will all see the difference that a decent manager can make with this lot of players because there is enough talent in this squad.

2.) 20 Oct 2017 23:20:58
Come on here a lot but don't post often, felt I had to tonight, Brighton are poor, and they smashed us. Slav, go before your pushed, do the right thing, it's not happening and we're heading for the championship. a new manager might not even save this lot.

06 Jul 2017 17:35:44
Ironmike - thank you so very much in confirming its not down to Bilic we may lose out on Iheancho I like all reading this site was just about to throw my toys out of the pram until i read your post. I read the others and then look for your post and I know what I prefer to read - keep it up and keep us in the loop PLEASE.

1.) 06 Jul 2017 18:12:44
Again as we've said previous, there is always a drama somewhere in our transfer dealings what a bunch of jokers. We can all see what a next. West ham were not willing to match chicharito wage demands, bakambu went to Newcastle after they offer what is asked and we end up with Peter crouch.

2.) 06 Jul 2017 18:46:01
Cannot believe it's true that we had agreed a deal to sign INHEACHO only for billic to pull the plug saying he's got other targets and he's to inexperienced that might be true but that just shows there is no communication between billic and the two D's to let this deal go right to the wire and then to pull out that just validates everything we say on the forum that they are running this club wrong and us mugs pay money for them to f--k it up typical West Ham way.

3.) 06 Jul 2017 19:06:17
Finally it's all becoming clear that it's not dgs. Sullivan worked for how long for this deal for bilic to say no. Hmmm, what a waste of time and effort. Bilic obviously prefers Gray? Watch iheanacho destroy us next season!

4.) 06 Jul 2017 19:20:54
phil, . read IRON MIKE post 06 Jul 2017 17:10:23.says nothing to do with Bilic.

5.) 06 Jul 2017 19:34:16
And bilic is doing what he thinks is best for the club is He? I very much doubt it. He is clueless and at this rate we are going to be in deep poo.

{Ed025's Note - if he was backed financially you would be fine phil..

6.) 06 Jul 2017 20:07:44
This is the EPL money talks and the rest struggle, pity about the city deal but if the lad Chooses another club then it is his choice not ours, let's not forget that players have the right to choose .

28 Jun 2016 13:16:39
forgive me all - because I thought last nights performance was hysterical and I am so pleased that none of the Hammers were involved considered not good enough by Roy and his team, I watched and thought how Noble and plan B in Carroll wouldn't have made a difference I do not know.
would you all now get behind us Welsh and the ginger Pele, he may play Friday through injury and I have no doubt he won't let anyone down. I noticed a whisper the Hammers were looking at Joe Allen might be worth a dabble,
so please keep the rumours and possible bids coming in.
I admit to checking this site many times a day to keep in touch with what we are doing.

after what I've seen of Welsh players celebrating England losing NO thanks I hope belgium stuff them.

2.) 28 Jun 2016 13:47:44
Will be watching and hoping Wales can do what England were unable to do and do us proud. let's face it, they can't be any worse. Strangely enough am in Cardiff this weekend at my Brother In Laws so should be a great weekend.

3.) 28 Jun 2016 14:56:56
I don't see anything wrong with Wales celebrating that the only team they have lost to in the tornement are now out.

Wow - Difficult to criticise anyone today - commitment and effort everywhere - Noble was superb not MOTM but not far Diop and Balbeuna looked good Diop my MOTM and Fredericks started to show he is settling in - makes you wonder where that performance has been - fair play to the Raver he has come on the site and commented - chuffed and walking round like a child in sweet shop - COYI.

For spuds fans that is going to be like having the name of your ex girlfriend tattooed on your forehead. Great result and fully deserved after the bad luck of recent weeks, if we turned up against teams outside the top six we might have a chance of being one of them. Fortune's always hiding.

2.) 27 Apr 2019 23:48:32
If it wasn't for fredericks we wouldn't have win that game he made two crucial tackles the back four was superb but the reason I think ryan was MOTM is he gets enough stick but he needs MP to put his arm around him and say I believe in you and you are my R/ B for next season with DIOP he needed to be dropped to give him a kick up the bollocks as for BALBUENA he's the ultimate professional and has to be our next captain no its well known I don't rate NOBLE but he was very good today SNODGRASS is a trier but if we are too improve next season he's a bench player at the very best and he's hardly a flying winged you bring off the bench when the opossition are tired we need a L/ B 2 MIDFIELDERS and a quality striker and for me we will give most a game bar city and maybe Liverpool would be a little optimistic anyway this one's for you raver great stadium shame about your team 😂😂😂. COYI.

3.) 28 Apr 2019 16:27:44
Some good points Nuts but I would dispute Balbuenna as Captain if Noble becomes a bench player.

For me it would be Rice if you had watched him as Capt of the U 23s where you can hear everything being said on the pitch you would know how much of a natural Captain he is.

4.) 29 Apr 2019 20:12:51
I like the look of Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Balbuena, Noble, Rice, Snodgrass, Anderson, Antonio and 1 other for next season; 3-5-2.

5.) 29 Apr 2019 20:37:36
Plus Yamalenko 😉.

02 Apr 2019 13:49:56
got to be Fab for me - dreadful stats when you see he has been top of the most saves and busiest keeper - having to work so hard behind our defence - each time we concede a corner you do wonder! but we have had some woeful performances of late - hope the atmosphere of a London derby on Monday will help raise some of the effort needed by some of the squad, leave Perez and Obiang home and put Arnie on bench if needed - also need to get Balbuena back in.

WHUWALES

1.) 02 Apr 2019 16:38:53
Fabulouski for me, too.

Rice has been outstanding as well, but has received plenty of recognition.

16 Mar 2019 08:26:37
Well here we go again on the roller coaster ride in being a Hammers fan - like last week when I was excited over getting 3 points - ever the optimist expecting 3 today with a performance to match and the goals we didn't get or even look like last week! Arnie has to start in my view - COYI.

WHUWALES

1.) 16 Mar 2019 10:26:16
I’m on that wavelength!

BIG win today. 😉.

2.) 16 Mar 2019 16:24:05
When you said big win did you mean for Huddersfield : (.

09 Mar 2019 18:55:51
well my optimism finished moments after kick off - we were shocking today - toothless up front and no creativity today- Diop was awesome and Rice never stopped working, Fab made some important stops and Cardiff could easily had 4 or 5 - the rest well! very poor.

WHUWALES

1.) 10 Mar 2019 08:10:20
WHUWALES, 😂 That’s the joy coupled with the frustration of being a ⚒ fan👍We get all optimistic when a Good run is put together thinking we are on the up, then get shot down by the the teams that we least expect to! I think we have to many damp squibs that have been recruited in desperation to make up the numbers that have a bad attitude sitting to comfortably! When I see the ridiculous foreign names linked with us that will offered huge wages to tempt them, then I look at the likes of Glen Murray at Brighton, Ashley Barnes, Burnley, Troy Deeney, Watford, give me the likes of that type of genuine gutsy home players that are dedicated and can still put in a good shift, unlike some of our divas!

2.) 10 Mar 2019 10:04:12
i think the "big team" mentality is still developing, problem is, the players havnt quite got to what that really means yet. The mentality is developing, we can see that against some teams we play and the way we play, however, a true big team (a winning team) does not go to games away from home to relegation teams expecting to win. This mentality needs to get through to us fans as well, i only saw comments on websites from fans saying we were going to and should win, i am also guilty of expecting us to score a win easily. In truth, Cardiff are a very hard team to beat at home, and they defended well. tactically, MP should have got us to be more direct when arnie came on. Cardiff organised themselves well and forced us to play sideways all the time, so our approach needed to test them in different ways.
On Chicas dive, well its a yellow and i want it out of the game. However, i see no difference in what he did and what Townsend did to get their pen this weekend. they BOTH went down before contact, expecting the contact to come, which by definition is a dive. The difference is the defender, Chica did not get the contact and subsequently did not appeal for a pen, but nor did he argue the yellow as he knows its a dive. Players do this all the time, it only becomes talking point when the defender manages to avoid contact last split second.

3.) 10 Mar 2019 10:13:12
Awful game missed the first 5 minutes so didn't see how we started but sounded bad.

I think Cardiff did everything in their power to disrupt that game players going down every 5-10 minutes we couldn't really get a rhythm going. They worked hard pressing and getting men behind the ball while defending, boring game but they are fighting for survival so can't blame them for their efforts.

We can put this right Huddersfield at home followed by Everton. Then we have Chelsea and man u and we have performed well against the bigger teams so maybe we are still in with a shout of 7th certainly not worth giving up on.

Hernadez dropped for arnautovic next game. Would like to see Antonio and Nasri back in the side but at the expense of who?

04 Mar 2019 07:38:25
I think Shelvey may not be the type MP is looking for to boost the squad, I thought we may have gone for him in January but he was injured, I think MP will have another quiet sort out over the summer, I think Fredericks is beginning to look fit and confident and will be an asset for us, hoping to pick up more points beginning Saturday, - but 39 points already after our dreadful start is fantastic -COYI
watched in disbelief on Saturday when SKY showed little or no interest in the naming of the stand in honour of Billy the legend sad and showed no respect.

WHUWALES

1.) 04 Mar 2019 11:06:12
We should be targeting 9 points from the next 3 games:

Cardiff (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Everton (H)
