you see players leading with arms (not elbows) every week, let's see if we get refereeing consistency with this type of incident at the weekend. Guaranteed Terry, Vidic, Skirtel, Ba, et al will all commit to winning balls with arms flailing and no action will be taken. Why? because unlike Chico most players just get up and get on with it except of course some of the overseas players who tend to over react. And the mug Webb bought it hook line and sinker he should never referee us again at the Boleyn. Yellow card at worst.
Thank goodness Bonzo has retired doubt if he would make more that half a dozen games a year in this climate.

So it's not been recinded no suprise given Graham Polls well publicised views, person, an person when he refereed and still a ****wit now, what a joke the FA are! The whole referee situation needs addressing, how many times do we and all supporters come away from matches having seen them ruined by the ego's of the men in black. To be a referee you have to start by the age of 16 to get to the top non of them have ever played the game to a half decent standard yet alone professionally. There must be away of fast tracking ex pros to be referees as in Rugby and Cricket. I get fed up with spending over £1000 on a season ticket to have half the games ruined by the officials and their ignorance of the game.
I have a theory, do you remember the kids at school in the play ground that always got picked last and were more of a pain than of use. Well they grow into referees in later life and come back to haunt us. So if you run a youth team remember to give the fat kid a game or he will come back and get you, dressed in black.

I would not disagree with any of the above a radical review of transfer policy is long over due. It is not rocket science look at what the top clubs do, they have 2 players for every position that are inter changeable depending on injury's, suspension or form, we don't see them playing full backs as centre backs or no strikers because your main man is injured. A constant gripe of mine is they all have a plan B a different formation that actually changes during a game depending on your opponents tactics. We just keep lumping long balls, how many times do we see our goalkeeper throw a ball to the full back and start a passing movement and keep the ball, very rarely if at all.
It will be the same old stuff tonight, I hear one Italian may be on the bench but the other is not match fit. They are professional sportsman for goodness sake. I would rather have an unfit Italian than some of the wasters we have had to put up with this year. The whole thing needs a lift if we are expected to get behind the boys tonight give us something to cheer. COYI

As good as McCormack might be, he will not be played in a position to get the best out of him. Fat Sam plays % football knock into big fella either set pieces or long balls and feed off scraps. His love child Nolan will always play just off main striker all the time he is fit or not suspended. I can't help feeling that who ever we get and what their reputation unless we revise our tactics we will not improve our goal scoring record.
