Appeal lost, well, there's a shock. We all hoped he'd get off, but all of us knew he would get done. That's the way it works. I want to know why hasn't Chico been done for bringing the game into disrepute, or ungentlemanly conduct. If this does not happen then the FA should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute. It was obvious they weren't going to go against Webb, as he is held up as the personification of best practice in refereeing, but cheating is becoming endemic in the game, and someone needs to grow a pair, and really address the topic. This incident has really evidenced to me how divorced the FA and the "independent" disciplinary panel are from reality, and it's another example of why I'm losing interest in football. Chico is a cheat, end of, along with many others, and cheating needs to be eradicated from the game. Rant over. COYI, spank the Villa. {Ed039's Note - Chico wont get done because there was contact, end of)

Well said, Doctor

Ed039 - Not saying there was no contact. I am saying that Chico is a cheat by feigning injury to ensure an opponent got sent off. At the very minimum, that is bringing the game in to disrepute. Everyone saw what he did, and if you condone that, you are part of the problem. {Ed039's Note - doc, I aint condoning going down easy, not at all, but AC swung an arm and made contact, WHU have been my English team since I was a boy, but that was dangerous play, please just take the blinkers off and watch it again)

you see players leading with arms (not elbows) every week, let's see if we get refereeing consistency with this type of incident at the weekend. Guaranteed Terry, Vidic, Skirtel, Ba, et al will all commit to winning balls with arms flailing and no action will be taken. Why? because unlike Chico most players just get up and get on with it except of course some of the overseas players who tend to over react. And the mug Webb bought it hook line and sinker he should never referee us again at the Boleyn. Yellow card at worst.
Thank goodness Bonzo has retired doubt if he would make more that half a dozen games a year in this climate.

I know we are relegation rivals but in all fairness AC's appeal should have been upheld. Looking to stuff the cheat and his mates on Saturday

Everton fan and here is my opinion. Ed carroll just basically touched Chico and chico acted like ike tyson had punched him and it was by accident Carrol didn't know what was behind him he swung his arm and it hit Chico they could have reduced his ban from 3 to 1.
