Both of these teams already have 3-4 strikers.
Where as we have 1 injury prone striker that was converted from a winger.

Another name to add the the list is Divock Origi if this is true he has got vital Premiership experience and is young and strong. I do like him.

I'd be pleased if we got him. His stats don't look that good on paper but he's been a bit part player for a while now.
I reckon he'd easily be a 10-15 goal a season striker for us given an extended run in the team. £15m isn't exactly massive money for a 26 year old international either.
Heart hopes we sign him, head says Sullivan will find a way not to.

Would definitely take Origi I think he would be a quality signing ticks all the boxes for me and no doubt with a run of games he would do very well for us.

We have to try our hardest to get Origi who at 26 is the right agepremier league experience if only very little he has tasted the league before if liverpool ain't asking silly money then its a win win for both partys unless he has his sights set a tad higher than us but surely not playing much lately he could get back in the belgium squad again.
{Ed002's Note - Perhaps offer Bowen for Origi and Phillips and fix the two big problems, then add Danjuma to replace Bowen. It fixes the scattergun approach issues and might suit everyone.}

Ed02 I think you’re definitely on to something here. The rumour mill seems to be Sima is favoured again which kills 2 birds with one stone if he was bought instead of Danjouma. Sima can play out wide, covering the loss of Bowen and centre forward as additional back up to Antonio and Origi. Areola, Manjankovic (apologies if mis-spelt but you know who I mean), Origi, Phillips and Sima would be a good transfer window.

Not to run down Antonio ; but in interest of accuracy - he was more recently a full back when converted to striker! Mind you i guess one could cite Gareth Bale in principle (not comparing the 2 players here! ) .
