Anything has got to be better than that dross. I was prepared to give Potter a chance but after just one game, sorry he has to go, all that passing sideways and backwards for the sake of it, still doing it after going 2-0 down. Hopeless is too good a word for how we were.

Jwp was never a force, always has been a set piece merchant. Spent season after season in relegation battles with Southampton and we went and spent 25m-30m on him at 28 year old when we could of got fofana. Joke club.

If the board have no confidence in Potter, and at the moment I can see why, then sack him now and move on whilst the window is still open, although would a new manager be backed with signings? I doubt it!

Things have to change and quickly otherwise we are facing a crisis.

Don't get me wrong, I like Potter and think there is a good manager in him, but he isn't learning from last season.

What he is trying to do will not work without more energy and creativity and decent pace up front.

Time will tell, but I fear worse lies ahead

Fair point Al. But someone is continually picking him. We don’t have many options but Potts Fearon Alvarez or Kante should be ahead of that man. Instead he is first name on the teamsheet

Sullivan would have kept Moyes but for the lack of support for DMs style of play. Every appointment since has been to show us we're wrong to want to be entertained. Steidten, Loppy, Potter, Macaulay are Scape goats designed to make us want success not style. The new manager (already planned) will be BFS MK2 boring and safe. Guarantee Dyche is earmarked.

Wasn't just the style of play under moyes was it, consecutive failed transfer windows and we spent the last 2 and a half seasons with him flirting with relegation. Lopetegui was always a pragmatic manager that was apparently asked to play a different way than what he usually did. Sullivan was the only one that wanted Lopetegui, there was actually a petition to not make him manager not that sullivan would of cared anyway, and Brady pushed for potter and sullivan allowed it because he's clueless.

I remember when us and villa were struggling lot of us wanted moyes gone before Christmas, we could have had Emery instead we backed Moyes and Emery went to villa instead.

The blame almost lies entirely with sullivan, clueless.
