I know Mike that you did a very detailed explanation as to the current transfer budget the other day, but I'd like to run it by you again. At the beginning of this transfer window you said we had somewhere in the region of £50 million to spend + any additional money gained through player sales.
By my calculations we've spent £10 million on Lanzini, £6 million on Masuaku, £2.5 million on Tore (loan fee), £2 million on Fletcher and £500k on signing fees for Nordtveit and Feghouli.
That's a total outlay of £21 million. Leaving a remaining budget of £29 million.
We have then sold Tomkins for £10 million.
That means we should still have £39 million to spend on incoming players.
With the rumoured transfer fee for Ayew being £20 million, that leaves us with a budget of £19 million.
If it is indeed Bacca that's due to fly in for a Medical on Thursday, the agreed fee with AC Milan is rumoured to be £26 million. Which would be an over spend on our budget of £7 million.
However I am going to say it's probably safe to assume if we sign Ayew and Bacca we will look to offload Valencia (£8-10 million) and Sakho (£12-15 million) . Which if my maths are correct would actually give us another £13-18 million to spend in the transfer window.

D4, you don't have this right read my posts again that will give you a more precise explanation, the situation now, is ALL standing money is gone, whomever is bought AFTER ayew will go into debit column, less any sales or any other income not yet declared, that's how it is, it's a huge amount of add ons which I have approximated and you have omitted amongst other things regards IRONMIKE.
