Team done the job tonight and it couldn't have been easy in the new stadium. Everyone's going to have there own opinion on this stadium the fact of the matter is its here now and there's no going back. We know the positives - financial, infrastructure etc and it was great to see all those hammers under one roof but for me it's just not a football stadium. The atmosphere is not the same, the players seem far away and some of the views are appalling. I've come away from there thinking about Upton Park quite upsetting really. ssn/ Bt sports it is. On the transfer front. Been hearing that Slimani wants to come to Premier League and I'm surprised I haven't heard he's name linked with us at all this summer. Probably one of the first summers we've got a load of cash to throw at a marquee striker and no mention of Slimani? He would fit in perfectly in our team and should easily bang in 20 goals a season. Looks like Santon and Ayew are progressing well. Still worried about the Calleri deal going through I honestly think this boy can go on to be a massive star. The right back issue is beginning to become a bad headache that won't go away and I'm wondering if it will be that way all season?

Sorry but I don't agree, the place is magnificent and truly world class.
The view from my seat in the East stand is no worse than it was at UP.
The retractable seats in my opinion would be better if they finished closer to the pitch as it would make the ground more intimidating, and there are some areas that look like they could be filled in with more seats which may come if they increase the capacity again.
The atmosphere will come probably when we learn to synchronise the chants, but Bubbles was really loud!
Yes I miss the old ground that I frequented for more than 40 years but I was truly blown away by our new one.

They won't be as its not on telly at all the grand opening was billed as the juve game on Sunday so that game is on bt sport I think it's a lot of legall stuff as to the reason it's not on telly tonight but sure it's on radio or West Ham live COYI, I'm go inning in a minute so I can have a look round think we'll win 3-1 tonight 4-2 on aggregate can't wait buzzing.

Hi people first time poster, I have supported the mighty Ham since I was 11, looking to get more matches in this season but hard with work, I hear we interested in both Ayew brothers and Santon medic in next day or two anybody know if this is true?

Welcome Welsh Hammer and yeah I had read the same thing I hope Santon one comes through I belive he will be great addition and it is always handy to have more depth in the squad especially if we can get the result tonight and carry on in the europa league.

I would imagine bacca will sign if he's Completly out of CL options, I doubt tonight's game would have much bearing on his descion, if we sign jordan ayew we are desperate, santon was very average at newcastle I hope he's improved I'm not a big fan of right footed players playing LB would prefer olssen myself I hope byram gets a proper run of games at RB though, we wasted a lot of time going after players earlier in window let's hope that we can me some decent signings and not end up with rubbish loans again like emenike song and moses.

Totally agree on the J. Ayew front, would rather 1 of the youngsters get a chance than bother with that waste of space. On a different note, anyone know the best place for a pre-match beer tonight close to the stadium?
