Central defense no worries we have - reid, collins, tomkins, kouyate,
song and demel

with crsswell and jenkinson we have 2 excellent backs at last.

The puzzle is how we fit the rest in to make a winning offense.

Assuming song is the new dm and noble and kouyate the midfield engine

we can have 2 wide men and a central striker but no number 10.

assuming he finally dispenses with nolan cole and vaz te we are still left with

downing jarvis amalfitano valencia and zarate who can play wide and sakho as the only real striker.

As we are all ready out of the league cup we do not have many fixtures to keep everyone happy.

Probably the best line up is

jenkinson tomkins reid cresswell
song
noble kouyate
downing sakho and take your pick from the rest

this team is good enough to stay up but I am a bit worried about bfs leadership when after the southampton fiasco he said alex song might kick a few backsides.

Surely if we pay him millions should he not at least be able to do this himself

the truth is he seems surly and does not like being told to play more attractive football

I think his heart is still in bolton and he is waiting to get the maximum payout from a team and supporters that he despises.

Relegation under him is still a possibility.

we should at quickly while moyes is still available
and free

Well surely no complaints after that transfer window 9 signings for west ham, let me assure all we have never signed that many in two seasons before! having said that I will struggle to get my head around the fact that two strikers Valencia and carroll have been bought for 28m between them, and nothing has been spent on goalkeepers; this in my opinion is wrong; I think Adrian is good but not brilliant; and should the unlikely happen and he's injured we could have an ageing jaskillinen between the sticks for months on end; this is not good planning; and its something dgs woke up to rather late in the day; centre back not so bad as there is one or two that can play that position; like to know your views on these two positions fellas? IRONMIKE

Like you I worry about Adrian think he can be suspect thought we'd have done well to get David Marshall. I still worrry about the lack of goals in our team does anyone else still have a couple of nerves about this?

CB we have 3 obviously but Kouyate & Song both played there earlier in their careers, Demel does a job there and we also have Burke etc coming through the ranks, Still think Jaaskelainen can do a job and is still better than some of the other Prem keepers.
My worry is, Kouyate DFM, Noble DFM, Song DFM, neither of these will be happy on the bench.
So do you play one behind the striker, then what do you do with Zarate? I know this is a nice position to be in, but a happy squad is a winning squad, so how do we keep them all happy?
