Wouldnt anyone else rather take Ben Arfa 12m is a lot of money considering he plays in the Ukraine leauge, must be a reason the spuds and scousers ain't gone back in for him.

I know where you coming from but it could be down to playing time. Will he get in the team unfortunately he is more likely to push Jarvis out the way than Ben arfa? Just my opinion
2.) Also as a right back i'd try getting Fabio off united or even Carl Jenkinson at Arsenal obv ain't going to play when they get Debuchey
3.) Ukraine league isn´t that bad how you think, just look at teams like Doneck, Dynamo, Dnipro, Odesa at Europe, there is a lot of money in there. but now, players don´t want to stay there because of politic situation and teams like us have oportunity to bring players like Jevgeny, which we can´t afford before. yes, 12 mil. is a big money, but that a reality of todays football. still think, that Konoplynaka persuade about his qualities in league, europa league and national team too. What I know, L´pool was at Yarmolenko (another Ukrainian talented player) and KFC imo is giving new manager to bring players which he want. Once again, this is big oportunity for us to bring great player for still good money, don´t waste it.

Also has to be a reason other clubs haven't gone for Ben Arfa. He must have an attitude problem, that's why he's in & out of the Newcastle squad every other year.

Favored position on the left but can play r/w or behind the main striker which gives us an inter changeable 3 its gives us options. plus zarate we need a good rb whom ain't scared to get forward another striker and cover l/b for cresswell and the r/b not convinced by obrien to rash with his tackles

Think they should try signing Carlos Marchana, he is a free agent and a centre back 34 but still quality.

How would people line up for the new season if like expected we sign Valencia in the coming days? All those going on about risk just want to point out Swansea risked Michu and Bony, villa Benteke it is a risk but risks can work wonders.
1.) Benteke, Michu, Bony etc all come from very good standards of football in La Liga and the Belgian Pro league. Our beloved 12m valued Valencia is from the Mexican football league and is of a very poor standard. He is going to have to score at least double figures this season to justify that sort of money we have paid for him!
2.) What like Andy Carroll has to justify his, after the world cup this guys price was always going to be inflated, how good is the belgian Leauge, I bet you don't know enough about the Mexican leauge to be able to say its not up to standard in comparison!
3.) At this stage nobody has an idea who how squad will be.
has far as i'm concerned there has been some good early signings with the promise of more to come.

4.) The Mexican league is pony and spending 12m on an attacking player needs to be justified with goals. You can raise points about AC and how good you think the Mexican league is (LOL) but my points still stand. Benteke Michu and Bony all come from better standards of football and that VALENCIA will need to end the season on at least 8 goals with a few assists for anyone to admit he was worth the money

I think that the Board have said to Zarate go out on loan till the end of the season, then we will be getting rid of Sam and you can have a fresh start with the new manager! Would be easy to beleive as both sullivan and gold recently undermining Sam publically! If He can do this with this team imagine what a good manager would acheive!
