Central defense no worries we have - reid, collins, tomkins, kouyate,
song and demel
with crsswell and jenkinson we have 2 excellent backs at last.
The puzzle is how we fit the rest in to make a winning offense.
Assuming song is the new dm and noble and kouyate the midfield engine
we can have 2 wide men and a central striker but no number 10.
assuming he finally dispenses with nolan cole and vaz te we are still left with
downing jarvis amalfitano valencia and zarate who can play wide and sakho as the only real striker.
As we are all ready out of the league cup we do not have many fixtures to keep everyone happy.
Probably the best line up is
jenkinson tomkins reid cresswell
song
noble kouyate
downing sakho and take your pick from the rest
this team is good enough to stay up but I am a bit worried about bfs leadership when after the southampton fiasco he said alex song might kick a few backsides.
Surely if we pay him millions should he not at least be able to do this himself
the truth is he seems surly and does not like being told to play more attractive football
I think his heart is still in bolton and he is waiting to get the maximum payout from a team and supporters that he despises.
Relegation under him is still a possibility.
we should at quickly while moyes is still available
and free

I disagree
good team performance deserved at least a draw
a back 4 of jenkinson, Tomkins, reid and cresswell is good
our front 6 now have real quality and are going to provide us with some attacking football and goals which is what we all want
all hail the new sam
My first choice would be david moyes great job at everton his time at old Trafford is looking better by the minute as one of the worlds best manager spends a fortune with no success so far
also do not forget he was fergies pick who wants to double guess the greatest manager ever in the premier
I would also add nigel clough to the others mentioned
the key point is there are several good choices out there all way better than bfs
{Ed001's Note - surely the issue with Allardyce is his style of play? So why would you want Moyes, who uses almost exactly the same style??}
