So no Claret members will get Prem tickets, because we don't all sit down and be good boys and girls.
What a joke have the club got no gonads, thought the idea was to increase to 66,000 not allow Newham Council et el to reduce capacity to 57,000.
Name me a prem club where the supporters sit down at all times.
Dangerous they say, well so is driving and crossing the road but we all do it. We should bombard the council and stadium safety advisory group with objectionable emails daily.

{Ed001's Note - you do realise that your tickets are sold to you with the sitting bit in the T&Cs of sale right? So, if you don't abide by those T&Cs they are perfectly within their rights to stop you buying a ticket. Sending 'objectionable' emails will just make you look stupid and suggest they are right not to give you tickets. If you really can't sit down, I would suggest you try and get permission for a safe standing trial at the ground.}

Calm down ed he's only making a point.

{Ed001's Note - objectionable emails is not making a point.}

16 Aug 2016 22:04:23
I understand where you are coming from Ed001 but the decision is only fair if it is extended to all the other grounds in the prem. Don't know what you have seen Ed001 but every ground I visited last year had fans standing.

{Ed001's Note - yes and most of them have been sanctioned to varying degrees. Man Utd, for instance, have had their away allowance cut at almost every Prem ground due to their away fans' refusal to sit down.}

16 Aug 2016 22:29:31
But no restriction at home, no reducing their capacity by 3,000 eh Sorry Ed001 but even though this doesn't affect me I am truly angry, angry that the club has taken £40 off all those people that haven't bought a season ticket and are now saying they won't get tickets.

{Ed001's Note - I understand that, but there is no point sending objectionable emails. Fans are being treated like fools at every club in the Prem, when they are the ones with all the power. It is simple, if you disagree then spend nothing at the ground, stop buying merchandise etc. If they still won't listen, then not going to games will scare the life out of them if enough do it.}

celtic have a safe standing area and it works great, don't see the problem with having that.

17 Aug 2016 07:21:01
If he wants to send an email what's the problem? It's not an issue and really shouldn't annoy you this much. Take a chill pill pal.

{Ed001's Note - I think you are missing the point. I guess English is no longer in use, or you would understand why I was saying the idea of sending objectionable emails was not a good one.}

17 Aug 2016 08:52:41
Don't start getting defensive again.

{Ed001's Note - what? Can you understand English? Perhaps you need to use a dictionary to understand what objectionable means, then you might understand my point. Right now it is clearly going way over your head, bless you.}

Wonder if calleri can play right back? ;)

16 Aug 2016 18:59:36
Maybe we can put Adrian at rb.

17 Aug 2016 09:44:47
Byram centre forward?

17 Aug 2016 16:16:08
Yes guys players can't play in unfamiliar positions, next he be playing Caroll as a Striker!

16 Aug 2016 15:08:11
Antonio was our 2nd best player last season before he was moved to right back what the he'll is Slav doing he should be one off the first names on the team sheet in his proper position does Slav have a problem with him and if he does is if because he don't want to play fullback. SLAV WAKE UP AND LET THIS BOY FLOURISH IN HIS NATURAL POSITION BEFORE HE LOOKS TOWARDS THE EXIT IF HE isn't ALREADY.

The thought of watching Carroll up top week in and week out as we did under big Sam is depressing. I hate to say it but at this rate if we are not getting any more strikers in I would make it up with Sakho. After a whole summer waiting for this marquee 20 goal a season striker and ending up with Ayew. well. he's not the man! We seemed to spend so much time and effort going after the wrong people. What's with Slimani? It's the first year in the last 3 or 4 that we haven't been interested in him. Figures were being banded about like 30m + being offered to Lacazette, Batshuayi, Bacca and yet not prepared to throw a load of cash at Slim? Instead we get Ayew? Now like everyone I have been more than happy with the appointment of Bilic but not buying a right back and persisted with Antonio is the first time I am really questioning his judgement. Everyone and he's dog van see that it's ridiculous! We are knowhere near the same team without Payet and Lanzini in it. Those two are a step above the rest. We looked lack lustre last night no creativity no gile no imagination no forward penetrating runs between the lines or down the channels. No pace and movement with Carroll up top he was a mile away from the midfielders at times so was left isolated the defenders played too deep and Antonio was running around like a headless chicken leaving space in behind. I put on here about a week ago that we will end up about 10th at the end of the season with a lot of people saying I was mad and some even suggesting we could challenge for Champions League spot. I just can't see it myself! A week on and after watching everyone play I will still say there is 8/ 9 teams that will finish above us.

Absolutely right mate.

16 Aug 2016 12:32:54
I have heard from a reliable source we are about to sign a really good prospect from Huddersfield or Chesterfield, he couldn't remember which 1, Lol. Any ideas anyone?

Personally I think we need to play a fast striker to play off Andy Carroll, the amount of times he knocked the ball in behind to nobody I lost count. Can't take anything away from Chelsea though as I have never seen them press as much as I did last night, we couldn't even get 30 seconds on the ball, let's forget it and think about battering Bournemouth at the weekend.

16 Aug 2016 13:20:21
YOu must have heard about Nahki Wells, he's well known at lower level. Now at huddersfield formerly of bradford, decent player, it's just a guessing game about which players can make the jump to premiership level some can some can't, MIND you, the way we played last night! he would feel immediately at home! IRONMIKE.

16 Aug 2016 15:46:49
Ah right, well going on last nights performance we should snap him up, Lol. Even the beast Akinfenwa would of looked good in our squad last night.

16 Aug 2016 05:38:37
I know it's only one game and sb will get it right in the end but surely he and dgs have to take the blame for the defeat tonight Antonio is not and never will be a full back! We've spent all summer chasing a striker who turned us down on more than one occasion instead of sorting out a right back! But what I don't get is this is byram really that bad? I don't think he is but his confidence must be really low knowing that he's kept out the team by a winger! Antonio must never play fullback again! As for tore norveldt Valencia not for me and now rumours Kanu-Robson! What a total embarrassment that would be! I'd rather patch things up with sakho if poss? We got what we deserved tonight! Oh well look on bright side we are 3 points of champion league spot 😀.

16 Aug 2016 09:10:33
Well, on that performance its safe to say SB is going to come under a lot of pressure. We had 7 shots on goal second fewest this weekend. We need help and our sponsors were not happy either

West Ham shirt sponsors slammed Slaven Bilic team selection during Chelsea game as the West Ham United Boss came under fire from their own shirt sponsors during last night’s 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.

Betway took aim at Hammers boss Slaven Bilic over his team selection via their official Twitter account. In particular, they were unimpressed with the Croatian coach’s ongoing selection of Michail Antonio at right-back.

The former Nottingham Forest winger conceded the penalty that led to Chelsea’s opening goal yesterday evening after some clumsy defending. That prompted Betway to call for an end to the experiment of deploying Antonio as a full-back. Their tweet said he had been an accident waiting to happen during his time in the back-four.

16 Aug 2016 09:31:23
The whole world realises that Antonio shouldn't please at rb except sb. I'm don't know what he's thinking. If he doesn't like byram fair enough but get a proper rb then.

16 Aug 2016 09:34:18
I don't know what Betway think they are doing criticising the manager. But anyway - everyone needs to relax. Yes we lost, and yes we were very poor. But Chelsea will be a highly competitive team this year so we can't be too disappointed. We very nearly stole a draw (which would have been completely undeserved) . If we had have drawn I bet you anything that everyone on here would be a lot more positive. Draws aren't much better than losses so let's just pull it together and hope that we smash Bournemouth this weekend.
