just a thought guys I know a lot of you like Gokran tore and I admit he looks good but just think about this. emenike looked good in that league know it isn't the same thing but got to be worth thinking about.

Good point, maybe we should be looking at Pione Sisto. Anyone think we should go for Remy in the summer
I've heard lots on hear about needing strikers but I also think we are now shipping to many goals. At the start of the season we had clean sheets AT Arsenal and Liverpool and only conceded one at City but recently this has not been the case. Any thoughts where things have changed and what can be done about it.
Any more news on Payet?

I must admit phil I like the look of Sisto very quick could be the type of player that can really terrorise defences, dunno about remy if we sign lacazette or another top striker can't see him coming to be back up.

Wissam Ben Yedder has confirmed he is leaving Toulouse. Roma, Napoli and Lyon are all very interested and he could be a great addition if we could get him. He is being touted as the replacement for Lacazette?

Overall I think we can all agree it has been a great season and we really showed what we can build on and become in years to come!
Even with a 7th place finish, I'm a Happy Hammer.

Oh well not the finish we wanted or expected but a great season thou now the hard work starts for owners and bilic who we can get to improve this team. my concern is what level player can we attract finishing 7th really hope lacassette is in the bag.

in conversation with friends in France today - Marseilles fans - re the Batshuayi v Lacazette rumours. They all feel Batshuayi is potentially the better player but needs good coaching and disciplined environment to fulfill his potential (apparently bit of "lad" around the town) . Where as Lacazette more the finished article. So a case of stick or twist with these two. So its Batshuayi for me if Slav and DGS can pull it off.

lacazette all day long if that's the case payet is 29 and good now we need to do it next season and really push team spirit I'd great don't need a nob spoiling it . unfortunately both will go to CL teams anyway so dent ater.

Hi fellas, WELL, IF, we are going to miss so many chances to put the game to bed, you always KNOW, what is going to happen, and of course it did, we shall have to wait now to see what happens in so far as europa is concerned, BUT it shows we are screaming out for proper finishers. Sakho and Carroll were hopeless, IT MUST be remembered that 60 points and top eight was the target! well that was achieved BUT it could have been so much better. The nucleus of a very good team is there, now we must get in the rest of the jigsaw, IRONMIKE.

hiya mike been a brilliant season and I'm still confident the mancs will beat palace so europe is defiantly still on, valencia is awful I'd ship him out ASAP along with the loans, felt a bit sorry for Carroll today wasn't too many good crosses for him to get on end of today, on the plus side ogbonna antonio and Kouyate were all good today apart from striker we are crying out for a proper right back.

Also think Carroll would be hard done by to be criticised today. He also won ball and provided some v decent crosses. A lot more than can be said for Valencia and Sakho. They're supposed to be the ones getting on the end of what he knocks down, and to exploit the space he creates, but they're just not good enough finishers.

I am absolutely fuming that we didn't win the game. No where near clinical enough. We should have by 6 or 7 goals. Really sad not to have got 6th.

Devastated. We are really suffering for the want of a top-class finisher. Really hope we can get Lacazette in the summer. I fear that we might live to rue not having won this game and the Swansea game. Not just for the sake of attracting top talent, but for holding onto what we've got! : (
Sakho and Randolph need to go. The former lacks the attitude and the ability to be a top-class striker. Eminike has only the attitude in his favour, I fear.

I agree that we should have won, should of been 3-0 up at half time sakho missed a sitter and two cleared of the line, lady luck was nowhere to be seen today, but I'm not going to moan we have had a great season and let's just hope Man U win the cup and then we're in Europa.

hiya mate I think everyone an now see why we need a proven goalscorer so badly now, unbelievable we didn't win that game still can't see palace beating manure so we will still be in Europa league next year.

We defiantly need a couple of top strikers and a few others but I think this season has been great and as we are entering a new era I think this season is a great start, we have broke points record also unbeaten run played some great football along the way said goodbye to the old girl in style and had some great wins. I am one proud hammer who'll on next season coyi.

Today showed how desperate we are for a couple of strikers that can put the ball away but no complaints great season and surely we can only get better. Another decent goalie a rb a decent winger and strikers.

Really suprised to see some people wanting rid of sakho he had an off day against stoke but over all I think he has proved his worth. I would keep sakho and carroll and ship out valencia and emineke and if we do find this elusive 20 goal a season striker whoever it is I think we will have really decent forwards for slav to alternate and play as and when.
