Mina is exciting news, this would be a great move. What is the status of the Sturaro bid, did we cool the talks on that one? and how likely is bernard?

Ex has said that we have cooled on Bernard now that Anderson is done. He also believes that we are moving on to frees (yes, I know Bernard is one! ) and loans.

What are we allowed to spend mike on the fair-play rules as i don't fully understand also are qe close to selling anybody mike because surely with MP'S fantastic signings we need a holding mid as i cannot think for a minute that noble or kouyate are in his plans.

The Chelsea links are OLD ones because they have a surplus in the areas. We may need a player IT will soon become clear Luke shaw incidentally says he’s staying put honestly the FP rules and more importantly the way they are interpreted are diffficult to follow IRONMIKE.

I think the thing is with these transfers whilst the fees are higher the wages are actually lower, and we cleared a fair bit by not going back in for Hart, Mario and offloading Fonte and Ginge to name a few. We have made big profits in previous years so we are using all of that to push on. If we sell players too that'll help as they are often knowing us on higher than wages.
All in all I would suggest we are fine with FFP rules and they have relaxed in recent years as well.

Once we wrap up andersen and balbuena that wil give us 7 new signings. Are we still pushing for Sturaro? do we have any other bids out there that we are still interested in signing?

Mike, what is the status of Balbueno and Yarmolenko, are they close to putting pen on paper? Assuming they do sign and we are able to land Andersen how many more signings can we realistically expect?

What happened to Bernard? It’s been reported today that as a free agent he has been asking for a €10m signing on fee and €3m a year wages. That’s about £8.85m up front and £2.66m wages (which is £51k a week) .
If that’s true, I’m amazed MP hasn’t been all over it.

Bernard was approached didn’t want to come to WH so it was left at that didn’t get as far as money Next how many players are we expecting in. Perhaps 7 maybe more We have many to shift However WH will keep prices as reasonable as possible to move them on that is really à statement in itself very impressive. IRONMIKE.

IRONMIKE, I understand the need to shift some players but I actually think historically this is one area where Sully has been particularly poor. He seemingly haggles hard when buying players with a couple of million enough to
Scupper a deal but we consistently undervalue and undersell players. We made a loss on Ayew when prices were going silly. Selling Burke for £1.5m is crazy. Last year Liverpool sold Stewart to Hull and they paid £4m (rising to £7m w/ add ons) . Rumoured valuations of £15m for Antonio and £10m for Kouyate would be daylight robbery.

Do you think the performance of tonites game will affect the outcome of any upcoming signings or do we still have some quality players linwd up and ready to come aboard despite our loss.
{Ed002's Note - West Ham has agreed to pay over the odds for Zaza but there is no agreement with the player just yet. The club are trying.}
