Thought they may av been part of the squad.

1.) 04 Sep 2020 16:07:30
Kemp has already agreed to go on loan to Blackpool, too.

2.) 04 Sep 2020 17:13:12
We got no deffence as well i think we will be down the foot of table just like last season thanks to dsg.

3.) 04 Sep 2020 20:45:29
Change the record with your negative clap trap! Ed02 has said so many times on here money is tight and doesn’t grow on trees . there are 4 weeks until the end of the transfer window so time to buy and more importantly move players on. Owning a business is tough at the best of times but throw a virus into the mix .

4.) 04 Sep 2020 22:48:27
We will buy a couple of defensive stalwarts. We’ve got plenty in attack.

5.) 05 Sep 2020 11:46:22
Wow, "clap trap". Even nobes has had enough mate your the only hammer on dsg side I've suported our club for sixty years we deserve better than this.

6.) 05 Sep 2020 12:25:00
I with you on this markro let moyes get in the defensive cover we need we lost more games from winning positions than any other PL team part of that was based upon losing our no1 GK and finding out his back up was useless. There were rumors that diagrana May go back out on loan but it’s a position we have well covered and they decided to cash in because we defensive cover . I’d really like us to start playing to our strengths ie let's have natural left footer on the left and on the same on the right let's play with some width instead of an unbalanced side right footed players playing on the feel the need to always cut inside narrowing our attack making it easy to defend against. haller definitely will get goals if he gets good service and support whether that Antonio Bowen Anderson yarmerlenko everyone seems to panicking about our fixtures list if we bring in the right players make us hard to beat don't give the ball away cheaply in the final 3rd with the top sides you can’t let them get back in position and then try to play through them perfect example man city last season city would concede a cheap foul to break up play when we did get into an advanced area we was slow to use the playing out side etc play would break down and they would counter attack swiftly while we are slow to get back.

7.) 05 Sep 2020 17:37:36
Good post bkk. I quite like wingers swapping flanks during the game to add variety and cause different problems for defences.

As we are both saying - we MUST sort out our defence.

8.) 05 Sep 2020 19:00:20
I sense a lot of trouble in the camp and our 5-3 defeat to relegated bournemouth today summed it all up. We are a shambles both on and more importantly off the pitch and this debacle cannot continue.

9.) 06 Sep 2020 11:01:07
Bonzo53, and I've supported West Ham for 40 years . I also run my own business though therefore can empathise with dgs’ situation. Its bad enough watching something that cost you millions stroll around a football pitch being so ineffective that nobody wants to buy him (Andersen) but when the sale of crotchless knickers and rubber dolls fall through the floor as well you know you're in big trouble! i'm no fan of theirs but constant negativity from fans and players, in my oppinion Noble was totally wrong in his public statement, it should have been a quiet word, is not going to make them sell . They will just do what they do dig their heels in and make decisions that spite the fans because they can .

10.) 06 Sep 2020 12:22:37
Sorry Dabber i don't agree I've been with WH for 64 years and if the players see something is not right let the fans know also we are 2oth richest club in the world and 9th richest in the football league if the manger is against the sale of a young WH player why not speak out We all share the same view youth is the way to go but not by selling home grown players.

11.) 06 Sep 2020 13:15:32
Bideford, totally agree that youth is the way forward but nobody wants to buy the 2 attacking forwards that are surplus to requirement and expensive on the payroll, Lanzini and Andersen, we can't shift them. We all know how desperate we are for quality at the back as does the rest of the footballing world . Rico Henry won't come cheap neither will Tarkowski, Stones or the Japanese lad from Bologna. We need at least 3 more defenders and have to sell to buy. The problem is you can only sell what people are prepared to buy and at the moment those players are Diagana, Rice or Diop. My original response to Bonzo was about judging us negatively now when there is still 4 weeks of the transfer window left. He was right though we need defenders but unfortunately selling Diagana was one of the only ways those purchases could be made.

12.) 06 Sep 2020 13:48:21
I agree with Dabber completely. I’ve been on this site for about 5 years now and even though it makes no difference have been a fan for 45 years.
This game has changed lads and it’s not business and not a sport. Players no longer cost £10m for a class act but a minimum of £20m for a mediocre player.
Our owners are of course wealthy blokes but don’t have bottomless pockets. Have you all forgotten about the virus and the impact this has had not only on our club but on the other business interests that DGS have. Would you rather they laid of 1000’s of employees from other businesses just to finance the club to appease the fans who buy a West Ham shirt once a year and are long time supporters. How about the people in the other businesses they have that have worked for them for decades. How about that loyalty? I don’t care if you lads come back and argue the point. This game is not that important that we should castigate owners who are trying to stabilise our club financially in difficult times and with a season approaching that more than likely won’t generate gate receipts ( and consequently no sales at the shop.
These are unprecedented times and tough for ALL businesses. Don’t worry about which league we end up playing in, worry about our survival as a club. Don’t forget who bailed us out of financial ruin after Icelandic’s cocked up our finances and left the club in a mess.
Who spent all the money on Haller, Anderson, Fornals, yarmalenko, Bowen etc. Which equates to £150m in spend in two years.
Let’s get through this the virus crisis and then re-evaluate the value of DGS.

COYI!

13.) 06 Sep 2020 16:51:10
I have to say I am with dabbed iron, why is everyone so negative!
Ultimately it is a business and it’s tough, maybe all the haters should get together and buy them out, a simple solution.
Did Diangana set the premier league alight last time in the premier league, don’t get me wrong he is good but £18 million is good money.

Let’s just see how the first couple of months go and remember where we were under Egghead and the Icelandic’s, nearly bust!
There may have been unrealistic claims about champions league football but we are stable now, we all want to see West Ham win something but not the end of the world.
COYI.

14.) 06 Sep 2020 17:03:40
The voice of reason, COYI64. As you say, there have never been times like these and we don’t know the real financial circumstances of the club. Like everyone else I’m looking forward to the new season (I always do) and I am convinced we have a talented squad. I don’t expect us to win the Prem, I’m just hoping we play some decent football and win enough games to consolidate a decent mid-table finish.

{Ed002's Note - The club will be suffering losses from the pandemic - like all clubs.}

15.) 06 Sep 2020 19:49:09
Markro couldn’t have said it better it’s funny I can look at one of our teams n go we are up for this just by there attitude all I ask is a balanced squad n they put in 100 percent nothing worse than watching a player lose the ballon trot back I want to see commitment we are under the cost but we are throwing bodies in front of the ball Desire!

16.) 06 Sep 2020 19:43:06
We have to get the best out of what we have with some tinkering.

17.) 06 Sep 2020 20:11:10
Gds always take out loans and act as guarantees to those loans given that our income has been in different ways the only players who’s value may have increased would be rice Antonio not by much n diop.

18.) 06 Sep 2020 21:56:38
I'm torn between a rock and a hard place on the NOBLE venting his disagreement over the sale of DIANGANA as I know two wrongs don't make a right but sully and Brady not so much gold always air their dirty laundry so I ain't against NOBLE showing passion. COYI.

19.) 06 Sep 2020 22:29:01
Sorry Ed if you've cleared this up already but hasn't TSARWOSKI got a £50 million euro release clause in any sale and the chances of DYCHE letting him leave especially to another PREMIER LEAGUE club is next to nothing but will will still pursue it till the end then SULLIVAN can say we tried. COYI.

{Ed002's Note - Ignore any clauseslike that.}

20.) 08 Sep 2020 22:55:26
Cheers Ed. COYI.

19 Oct 2019 08:25:47
I hope we go for the jugular today, Everton are there for the taking if we can get an
early goal there fans will turn on them.
The way the league is if we win we could go 3rd, lose and could be 15th.

arp3768

1.) 19 Oct 2019 14:25:30
What a shocking performance. Seems no interest, no urgency and no tempo against this Everton team that had gosls disallowed and numerous other chances. It could easily have been 6 or 7 if not more. This lot needs a shake up disgraceful.

2.) 19 Oct 2019 20:15:55
That inconsistency continues from last season. Westham play one, two, maybe three good games in a row and we start thinking they've turned the corner, then reality hits home in the next half a dozen games. I cannot see it changing with Pellegrini, sure he has improved the attacking intent of the team (having stated that, the last few games I have watched I'm not so sure) but it's come at the expense of defending as a unit, they look fragile . Everton effortlessly calved through the midfield in their counterattack play, whenever they attacked they looked like they were going to score, everytime Westham attacked they looked clueless. I'm getting fed up with the excuses, this club is still a mediocre side, the same problems are there for all to see this season as last season, defensively weak, midfield cover poor, and an isolated forward up front. As for the playing style, it's fast becoming a shambles, no pressing of the opposition when they have the ball, (Pellegrini should spend time going through the Czech v England match with the team to see how good the Czech's pressed against England for the entire game), also there is no pass and movement going on, and as for the tempo they play at, the opposition has no worries defending against that.
I see the wisdom Sullivan holding off extending Pellegrini's contract .

3.) 19 Oct 2019 21:53:00
Agreed Sullivan might be starting to get as disillusioned as the rest of us. £27m for fornals what a joke and as for the goalie Roberto, wow who chose him out of all the options out there. Midfield gets cut to pieces and can't cover for defenders. Defence looks shaky at best and Haller looks lost up front with no service. Time for a change? Maybe, maybe not but managers are judged by performances and results and since oxford we have been dire. The buck stops with the manager I'm afraid.

4.) 22 Oct 2019 23:11:25
roberto made some mental saves were you watching or at the game.

5.) 29 Oct 2019 01:34:36
Far too early to judge FORNALS absolutely crazy to judge him, he will be still getting over how tough the premier league is the toughest in the world by a country mile no 30 seconds on the ball here the thing I would agree as I've posted before HALLER is isolated up top with little or no support we have to support him quicker didn't think I'd say this but we are missing ANTONIO and badly at that there's a complete lack of professionalism and that starts with MP and then the players I mean LANZINIS already on the beach things have to change and they will for a few games and then the players relax and the levels drop and that's when the manager earns his money but I don't care what anybody says our midfield isn't quick enough to support HALLER and I'm sorry but I quarentee when NOBLE is replaced with a young athlete our performances will improve I'm not saying he's solely to blame but he's too slow and pedestrian and cannot get away with a other season starting when fit I see our U-23 are top of their league and the 2 top scorers in HOLLAND and SULLY when will HOLLAND be given his chance . COYI.

15 Jun 2019 13:28:21
Sky just said Celta Vigo av accepted ours
and Valencia bid of 29 million and now
down to the player.
Valencia can offer him champions league
which could persuade him to join them.

arp3768

09 Feb 2019 08:59:35
So apparently spurs want to pay 35m£ for rice, are they only buying one leg then lol

arp3768

1.) 09 Feb 2019 09:40:20
How can the papers have the nerve to run such a nonsense story 35m haha rice will only ever go when man city make an outrageous bid of 70m+.

2.) 09 Feb 2019 09:51:56
I thought we’d moved on from being a selling club.

Make Rice on field captain next season.

21 Oct 2018 14:20:29
Rumours are spreading that Yarmolenko is out for the season.

arp3768

1.) 21 Oct 2018 20:19:29
Doubt he will ever get back as good, Faubert was never as fast again and yarmo was struggling even before the injury! - need a Wilshire back who is fit and keen and smoke free.

2.) 22 Oct 2018 08:03:49
arp / geyser, yes according to reports he has ruptured Achilles so looks like a 6 months job🙈 as Guyser says he may never be what we hoped he would be, so we have to look at others to step up, like Diangana! Please MP do not consider any already injury prone players otherwise we might as well change our name to West Hospital United, of course unpredicted injuries will always happen but steer clear of the those with possible long term problems!

3.) 22 Oct 2018 10:47:22
Such a shame for Yarmo, wish him a speedy and successful recovery.
Pressure is on for others to step up to the plate now. Diangana, Holland, Perez can all play out wide for us, and Marcus Browne also has a lot of promise. We need someone NOW though, so maybe MP needs to look to a loan/ purchase in January, as we cannot rely and potentially rush Lanzini back.
Maybe Snodgrass has to play more out wide again, but i feel he is better more central. Wilshere in a wider role?
Antonio just doesn't fit the bill under MP, he has terrible final ball and limited creativity. Pace and power are his attributes, best as a CF.

4.) 22 Oct 2018 15:33:41
Perez for me, with youngster possible coming onn.

5.) 22 Oct 2018 14:10:32
No please not SNODGRASS nlckinho he ain’t a premiership consistent player and what I mean by that mate is he cannot give continuity on a premiership level just the odd good performance not great just good and we need more than that especially if your down the bottom of the table that’s my view in know it’s all about opinions mate and that’s mine . COYI.

6.) 23 Oct 2018 09:16:55
I know what you mean Worya, long term we do need upgrades, but i am sure those will come in the coming windows. What we have now is important though, and Iv been impressed with Snodders playing CM so far, and given injuries he is a serious squad player for us now. Great attitude.
Just a thought, as we clearly have not got Anderson fully going yet, but maybe we have options to switch things around slightly. Play Anderson on the right (seen plenty highlights of him there) and maybe Masuaku on the left infront of Cresswell?
Perez is also more comfortable on the left, so there's another option on our left, but know idea of Perez's defensive capabilities.
Could also suggest a formation change, but when MP has JUST got the balance in the middle right it would be a big risk for him to take. If he did, I'd keep the back 4 the same, Rice as DM and 2 CMs (all the same), but then maybe play a CAM behind two strikers. Like Allardyce did so well with Downing behind Valencia and Sakho for a few games, before an injury forced a change and Big Sam went back to his old ways never to try it again when players were fit again. Got to see problems as opportunities sometimes, and maybe this is our one to get Chica and Anderson to finally click somehow.

7.) 24 Oct 2018 11:54:30
Make you right on most things you've said nlckinho as we must stick with two holding midfielders and an attacking midfielder which I think WILSHIRE can do when fit I know it's a big when fit also who much has RICE improved on the ball and his passing range the only thing is he's going to get an England call up soon and that's when his injury's start I hope not as not every player gets injured on international duty but it's not ideal losing your best players and he's definitely one as is BALBUENA and I know he's only got 7 caps but now he's getting premiership coverage he's going to get called up fingers crossed he don't as he will be travelling all around the world. COYI.

arp3768's banter posts with other poster's replies to arp3768's banter posts

04 Jul 2022 12:47:24
So far another embarrassing transfer window!
Same old rubbish from the press or ex whu employees or the " in the knows", these people make me laugh.
They report we are linked with everyone, I like Moyes as a manager and he's done us proud recently but the squad is paper thin, currently worse than last season.
We've signed a centre half, oh and a keeper that was already with us and another wonder kid that will probably be moved on in a season or two
Panic signings here we come!

arp3768

1.) 04 Jul 2022 15:47:51
I'm fairly sure that at the start of the window we were heavily linked with belotti and Ericsson with us apparently offering both contracts. We'll belotti off to Monaco and Ericsson of to man utd so that went well. What a shambles

2.) 04 Jul 2022 16:47:51
I can understand both players choosing Monaco and Manchester United over West Ham. Who are your alternatives? More moaning, still no solutions from our fanbase … SHOCK

3.) 04 Jul 2022 17:45:34
I'm sure the board will have bid for at least 6 or 7 other options in each position. Ah yeah its a banter site, don't like wgat you hear then don't READ!

4.) 04 Jul 2022 21:34:54
We moan as we have a lot to moan about
When you see other teams go about their business with out all the bull that comes from our no wonder we moan
Here a solution sign some players

5.) 04 Jul 2022 21:49:50
Ive been coming on here for years to get snippets of information about the club, players and developments. Also if you ask nicely the Ed’s particularly Ed02 will give you real detail as to what is going on. Oshee I don’t read your posts as all you do is constantly whinge but thanks for the advice!

6.) 05 Jul 2022 04:56:54
Think you need to consider that we were potentially going to get champions league through Europa League, that then became Europa League through Premier League until half time in the last match, then we settled for Conference League. Our best player won’t sign a new contract so it is reported. Our second best player was being eyed by Liverpool. Our other pillar in midfield rumours of discontent. How do we plan who we were going to try to attract till we found out what competition we are in next season, and then how do we convince those at that second and third table in terms of players that we are on the up when we are about to give the armband to a player who won’t sign a new contract. I don’t think the transfer process is the whole issue and targets have had to be changed to match where we are at.

7.) 05 Jul 2022 07:05:38
I think as Mo80 points out, we have a fair reason to be unhappy. As fans we can all see and identify what the needs at the club are, just as we did in January and nothing was done about it (and let's be honest, everybody and his dog knew we needed a striker above all else). I think its these frustrations and the way we conduct bsuiness in the transfer windows that create the negativity. Moyes did a great job of getting the best out of what he had avaiable to him last season and now we have some serious recruiting to be done, especially considering we lost KRAL, Fredericks, Noble, YARMO etc and we already had a thin squad. So if poeple want to come on here and have a moan, they are expressing the concerns that lots of us have.

8.) 05 Jul 2022 14:22:28
Mainlander, understand what you are saying but how many minutes of premier league football did Kral, Noble, Fredericks and Yarmolenko play between them? Declan Rice hasn’t signed a new but neither has he asked to be transferred. Bowen is being sniffed at by Liverpool but to my knowledge hasn’t asked to talk to them. January transfer window should be abolished imo as all it does is gives an opportunity to sell players at over inflated prices so I’m not bothered that we didn’t buy in it. My point is that there is still plenty of time left in this transfer and I personally think its a great time for West Ham and fans. Think back as to how we were 3 years ago when the whole atmosphere was toxic. I’d just prefer people on here to look at the positives as opposed to the negatrives

9.) 06 Jul 2022 07:03:58
Agreed Dabber, I think we should get rid of January window also. I also think that the summer transfer window should close on the eve of the league season starting.

10.) 06 Jul 2022 09:33:08
Maybe January window only if you have a long term injury you can bring someone in.

11.) 06 Jul 2022 21:30:55
What postives if we had signed a striker in january we maybe have got champion league as it was the signing spurs made that got them there
How long ago did haller leave?
No one doubting what a great job moyies has done
We will all shut up if we get the players in just we all know the board far to well by now but had hoped we had turned the corner
I don't care who we sign as long as moyes will play them as in a few games the boys looked jaded and needed a break

12.) 07 Jul 2022 09:58:32
Yeah agree with ya Mo. A couple of signings in Jan may well have seen us push on but the guys clearly looked tired at the end of a long season. We missed a trick, but this window is a chance for us to put those things right and push on. And this is why people complain and get frustrated because we want our Team to be successful and when we hear of Villa, Newcastle and even Forest doing some great business, then we begin to wonder if its going to be another one of those windows where we clearly need recruitment (and let's face it, we need some serious recruitment in this window), but as previous windows have showed, we either fail by underbidding and the scatter gun approach or take too long and then the player goes elsewhere. Look at the aguerd move which took weeks. Its the frustration caused by how we conduct our transfer windows and I'm still not convinced we will buy a striker this window. It would be very naive for us to put all our eggs in the Broja basket. For me he isn't proven at this level and are we going to pay £30m for him to play understudy to Antonio? I Doubt it. So forgive us for moaning and whining, but we want to some positive moves from our Management

13 Sep 2020 06:25:43
That game was awful, we were awful!
No ideas, no passion, no desire!
The club is in crisis from top to bottom.
I can only see relegation this season, the board can not afford to run the club, they have spent stupid amounts of money on average players, giving them far too long contracts too.
We can't recoup any money as no club wants them!
I'm not surprised by last nights result, if you change nothing, nothing changes.
Very sad to see our club being ruined!

arp3768

1.) 13 Sep 2020 10:17:40
And as I said previously, clubs who don't strengthen go down moyes has now said we need players but we've had all window. We need full backs first. Replace noble and a good string striker.

21 May 2020 20:01:26
So yesterday in bill and bens (gold and Sullivan) statement they stated all season ticket holders have been contacted.
As I had not been contacted I pressed on the link they gave us to email them, however that site had crashed. So I Email them stating I have not received an email so could someone contact me. I then receive 2 emails back from them saying u will be contacted within 24 hours.
What a surprise still not heard from them!

arp3768

1.) 22 May 2020 20:27:57
Stop given them your cash arp, I done it at my club with levy and Lewis no matches, no merchandise etc until I see some ambition In transfers not a fantastic new stadium to line their own pockets.

2.) 28 May 2020 01:46:09
About as reliable as there transfer dealings shocking even if we are in difficult standings at this present time . COYI.

02 May 2020 07:37:03
I struggle to understand why some clubs want this season to be completed.
Yes I understand that clubs will lose lots of money as sky sports and BT will stop paying as no football is being played.
People are talking about it's the fairest solution, play games on neutral grounds behind closed doors, players will be tested 2 times a week, kept in hotels for 6 weeks.
This to me doesn't sound like a solution it sounds like a farce, players life's will still be put in danger. there is evidence that some of these tests are not giving out the right answers anyway. And just because you get tested say on a Monday and Thursday doesn't mean you won't catch it by the Saturday.
All this set aside, surely players life's are worth more than money, worth more than a league title etc etc .
This virus kills, I truly wonder what is wrong with these people who think it's okto bring back a contact sport with people still dying, are they themselves willing to take that risk because apparently having some sport to watch will give the nation something to watch.
Are these people so bored they want to risk players life's for their own entertainment.
And me personally I don't really care if we stay up or go down but what I do care about is what is fair for these players and staff that will have to be at the ground and for the nation as a whole.
Almost 28 thousand dead so far that's what we know of, so quite possibly more.
FFS is kicking a bit of leather around that important compared to people's life's.
In my opinion what is fair is to restart the season when we have a proved vaccine, safe to play football at own grounds with fans there . If that takes 6 months, 1 year, 5 years then so be it . Least we won't be risking life's, life is too precious, yes I understand clubs will go bust and people will lose money, better than dying tho surely.
And by the way I am a die hard West Ham fan had a season ticket probably 35 years so yes I'm missing football too but I'm also missing loved ones that I've lost to the virus.

arp3768

1.) 02 May 2020 10:29:07
With you all the way arp.

2.) 03 May 2020 08:00:22
arp3768, please accept my sincere condolences for your sad losses, your post in the most unfortunate of circumstances is the most sensible and honest post imo that has ever been written on here, I agree totally with every word you have written about our game! I am fortunate enough not to have lost anybody close, but do know of a number locally that have been taken away from their families! It also sickens me to read of these stupid discussions of starting again, money, money, f—-money! As you say who cares about Football or any sport when the world is dying, yes we are all fed up with reading and hearing about, but getting back to normality with any risk eliminated of it spreading is the main concern!

3.) 07 May 2020 15:05:38
So sorry arp that you have lost loved one to due this virus.

20 Nov 2019 07:13:15
Well if I wasn't already worried about Saturdays game against spurs, I am now
they have signed mourinho.

arp3768

1.) 20 Nov 2019 19:25:06
Could be the last straw for Pellegrini.

I’d like us to give Hugill a try, he was bought by Moyes
Even if we get rid of Haller or not, just give him some
game time, even silva.
Defence is a mess tho, it’s standard we concede 2

Never heard of him, just wondering if Moyes
son in law is his agent just like Jordan Hugill
So WBA confirms Diangana staying, WTF
we need every player possible
Antonio will be injured again
Anderson out
Yarmo out
Surely if you had a brain you’d call him back.

Mac3,the club is toxic!
What player with any ambition would want
to join us now!
Apart from those over the hill and want one
last big pay cheque
The board av acted too slow
Our midfield has been slow for years,
And now we have loaned out our best u23.

The West Ham way, ponder over any deal
GSB are a waste of space
Taken our club, ruined our club
Hope they suffer in life the same way they
make real fans suffer
Yiu probably won’t post this, but it makes me
feel better by saying it.

Seems like same old story to me, linked with
All and sundry but our deals take forever!
Apperantly we have only 17 players, ogbonna has signed so that makes 18, areola will make 19.
So we are lighter on number of players, is anyone really truly surprised? I’m not .

I can only see a defeat, carbon copy of last 2 games
No passion desire effort shots on target goals etc
Wel probably concede 2 late goals which is standard
for us now. Same starting line up too, if you change
nothing, then nothing changes. 3-0 Chelsea.
