The so called Andy Carroll transfer needs a few words I think! Firstly I am not a fan of insulting anyone and do not agree with some of the demeaning comments here, but that is my opinion.
However if the rumours are right and I do say "IF" then mr Carroll has destroyed his relationship with the fans. We all understand that he would love a move to a so called big club so that he can win something, whilst earning ridiculous sums of money in the process. But to refuse to train or feign injury to hold the club to ransom? That' if true is unacceptable, end of story, he has to go!
What the majority of players forget is that the average fan spends a large portion if not all their disposable income on following the team, sometimes sacrificing other things to do so. Players earn so much money and have. a fabulous lifestyle and are totally detached from reality. They should not forget where they have come from and the luck they had to get to their position.
So please Mr Carroll if these rumours are not true then say so, if they are true then you need to take a long look at yourself and realise how supportive of you the club has been through your injury issues and how the fans have adored you!
The rest of the rumours, guys and gals they are exactly that, rumours spread by journalists and agents for personal gain, nothing more! We are supporters of a fabulous club, but if we were that brilliant in our opinions we would either have been so successful in life that we would own the club or all be players or managers at the highest levels, we are not and those that are the custodians of our tribe are, so let's trust in them!

Stickgeezer. Good post mate. Someone also needs to remind Carroll he had his chance at a “big club†when he was at Liverpool and he never cut the mustard there.
If he wants to go to Chelsea it’s for money only. He’ll grt paid a handsome wage to sit on his ass in the injury room like he’s being doing for the last 4 years.
He’s a good player but he needs and attitude adjustment and a reality check. When Liverpool wanted shot of him, who gave him his opportunity to play for a good team and show what he could do. That’s right. the mighty hammers. If tradition and loyalty mean nothing to him. then he knows where the door is.

This is simple for me, Moyes is not the man for the job! Clueless! The indications have been there since day one. Yes we had motivated players for Chelsea and Arsenal, but then who wouldn’t? Stoke were poor and frankly how different would things be if Lanzini hadn’t dived! in the week against Arsenal we were absolute crap and if he didn’t want to win it why play so many first teamers?
My friends get used to this as this is our season ahead.
Today we were simply nothing more than expected, Reid was slow and dissinterested, should have played Ginge as he is always motivating. Midfield non existent, but how many games ago were we all on this site praising Obiang and Kouote?
Fact of the matter is that players were out of form or out of position. My opinion should have gone 4-4-2 today with Carroll and Arnautovic up front. Antonio clearly needs a rest and will probably get one now!
This isn’t a problem of simply players, this is a problem of Management, clueless and inept. I hope that you all take the mickey out of me in the future about how wrong I am about Moyes, but I suspect he will ensure we are playing championship football next year or
Just evading it, which is the best I believe we can hope for.
