In fairness if someone's just offered him European football, a competent manager, and an extra 50k per week (as well as a club that hasn't just messed around his best mate) then you can see why he'd fancy sone of that. particularly with a new agency egging him to move as then they get a fat payment from the deal.
The Club should have shut this down weeks ago by saying he wasn't for sale this window.but nope, they invited haggles and bids by saying we're poor and sticking a 60m price on him.

Skaman, I think you're on the money (pardon the pun) . If money has been borrowed at a high rate of interest then it can only have been borrowed as a short term solution to cash flow issues. If PSR isn’t an issue then cash flow might be the problem as to our lack of activity. I would suggest that the loans are in lieu of player sales and would be paid off in full once revenue from sales comes in. Hopefully this suggests purchases are to be made.

Yeah Tin i agree to a point, but everyone was moaning about Ings, Cornet and whoever else warming the bench for 100+k a week. Emerson would only be doing the same. Plus regarding the year extension, that would bring him up to 33 years old. 10m wages over 2 years on the off chance he plays through injuries and then he walks away a free agent
