OMORODION, true or not true?
YES, whilst it's true, that WH have approached, Porto for this player, the money involved, for me, makes it impossible, for any deals to be done
WH as you are aware, could have bought this player for 17 m euros
Now we are talking multiple times that amount
Whilst it's thought Porto will let him go for, £70 m, it's a bit of a stretch, to see WH going forward on this
1.) 14 Oct 2025 07:38:43
Funny. This ship long since sailed.move on and find the next Omorodion. But if we do that we'll baulk at the fee and we'll end up overpaying for Chris Wood, whose form will then nosedive.
It's inevitable.
2.) 14 Oct 2025 11:02:38
There have been conversations between WH and Porto, just last week, on a personal note, I do not see how this particular pursuit, or anything like it, is monetary wise Even possible?
For me it was if you like a dereliction of responsibility, starting the season with only Bowen as a confirmed goal scorer
Wilson and Fulkrug, as strikers just laughable, now the kid Marshal is being thrust into the premiership, much too quickly, which could ruin him, and the original plan, for him to have a season on loan in the championship, after a loan in division one with Huddersfield, was scrapped out of panic
Whilst a striker will come in during January, 20 plus games would already have been played
Simple maths state, if you don’t score goals, you won’t stay up, that’s a fact doesn’t matter how much Nuno tightens up the defence, which he will
This whole mistake was purely down to Sullivan only, in the last week of the window a difference of 2 m euro in valuation, stopped Franculino coming to WH, and a 3 m difference stopped Charlie Cresswell joining,
Not the way to run a premiership club, when these players are needed, and so it has proved
I do.not agree with some, that WH are in a false position, we are where we deserve to be, Nuno has got a very big job to get us out of this, I hope he can
3.) 14 Oct 2025 17:20:04
I think we are exactly in the position we should be. It could be argued that maybe should be bottom as wolves form has picked up the last 3 games. Hopefully Nuno can help us get a few decent results under our belt
4.) 14 Oct 2025 21:14:11
Next Mondays game May tell us the seasons story
10 Oct 2025 09:40:54
WH in conversations with Rodriguez, re termination of contract, which expires next June 30 th
Player has shown repeated reluctance to move on, little wonder he's on 75 k a week
He wants to leave on a free, what a suprise!
and WH to pay complete balance
WH have asked him to find another club, in January, as a free agent, and will give him 1 m exit fee
Player to decide on that?
WITH this player Ward Prowse, and Cornet, hanging on, WH need to be very careful in future, as to what length contracts, are handed out, especially to players of a certain age
10 Oct 2025 09:13:37
WHILST WH, are trying to pre agree loan deal for Endrik, Xabi Alonso, has blocked it as last night
The player, is trying to persuade, Alonso, to let him out for second part of season
We shall, see?
08 Oct 2025 09:22:46
ADEYEMI winger Dortmund, WH are sounding this out, , young fast many attributes, also very expensive 40 m euro
Can play across the front as well, but he's not really a striker,
He would be a great purchase, but surely a striker or two, would be priority
1.) 08 Oct 2025 10:18:42
Joyfull, How are we going to afford players in January without breaking the rules ?
2.) 08 Oct 2025 12:31:53
That’s why WH looking for loans, BUT there won’t be any loaning for sure of some of the players being looked at, so your question cannot be answered at this time, we may have a better idea, of how WH are going to manoeuvre come December
3.) 09 Oct 2025 17:31:17
The simple answer Stevie is we will be linked with a thousand players and end up with pound shop signings as usual
4.) 10 Oct 2025 10:55:03
Isnt that the West Ham way everybody. Remember, Sullivan loves a bargain basement deal!
06 Oct 2025 13:16:05
ZIRKZEE, This originally started with David Moyes some time ago, the player was willing to come to WH at that time, Moyes decided against it, and the player a lot later went to Man U
ITS old hat, WH, have started making enquiries about a raft of players, it's unknown wether they would go after Zirkzee again, a loan maybe, buying No, can't see it Leeds and Everton are the runners, there
PALACIOS, not forgotten this player by a long way, he's definitely on the list
PROBLEM, for NUNO, is picking up points with players Unsuited to his style
This long break is going to help, and after Saturday, can visualise the defence improved further BUT
I just don't see where the goals are coming from?
1.) 08 Oct 2025 06:13:45
Gotta agree with you Joyful. I think we've all seen that if you play the sort of football Nuno will bring, you have to have serious pace up front, otherwise teams squeeze the pitch moving the back 4 up, confident we can't get behind them
Summerville is a good start, unfortunately it stops there.
As much as I love (and I know this is controversial) but I would sell Bowen if the right bid came (and that would have to be North of £100m)
Encouraging nuno wants Kendrick from Real Madrid and get rid of Fulkrug who am not convinced with
2.) 08 Oct 2025 10:12:10
Nuno wants to play with up to 4/5 moving forward on counter, like previous, style at Forest, V shape, fast winger either side, Bowen, and Striker, not quite as fast at bottom of V, so sprinting from halfway line wingers would be in theory, get to penalty area 5/10 metres, in front of forwards
It’s very simple, and can be very effective, problem is at this time, we have only two players to fit that style, this is why, speed merchants, are being studied at WH, ADEYEMI, Traore And others
IF WH can manage to move up the table under Nuno, which is going to be difficult, then a class playmaker, will also be brought in, to feed through balls on the turnover
Number one target is Gibbs White, if we can show promise, and Forest sink, this becomes a possibility

04 Oct 2025 18:10:02
For me second goal was not a penalty, putting that aside, we were never getting anything from this game
No Question Nuno has improved us at the back
But as I've said so many times, powderpuff up front, to move up the table, goals are needed, where are they coming from?
Long time to January, 4 points from 7 games, not boding well
38 points may be needed? So we need 34 points from 31 games
Got to win a few
1.) 05 Oct 2025 09:09:40
We could have gone 1-0 up in the first minute from Fulkrug! That apart it was no more than expected, at least it wasn’t a 5 or 6 -0 drubbing although apart from some really good defending and a couple of poor misses from Arsenal it could have been a worse scoreline for us! Arsenal are the beat team in the PL at the moment with strength in depth, this will be their Title winning year so no disgrace losing there!
Big improvement from Potter and Nuno working from inheritance, nice to see him give the youngsters a run out! ⚒⚒⚒⚒ COYI
2.) 05 Oct 2025 18:18:37
It's a long time until January we were poir yesterday, not blaming nono but his tactics are going to struggle with this group of players, the defence is woeful not Nunos fault the 2 centre half's are just poor, diouf was completely exposed as a defender he's great going forward and young but at the moment teams will target him
We all know the striker problems but unless that defence is sorted we will always conceded more than we score as these tactics rely on being able to keep clean sheets generally
I know before anyone says it Nuno has only been here a week and he must see the size of the task in front of him now as we offered nothing yesterday
3.) 06 Oct 2025 10:08:35
Diouf did seem to have a mare. As you say great going forward but not at the other end. I wonder if there is a way he can bring back Scarles at LB yet still incorporate Diouf in the team by pushing him forward, I’m not sure he can be shoe-horned in.
4.) 06 Oct 2025 22:18:20
Scarles gets caught ball watching to often, that is Cresswell used to keep bawling him out.
01 Oct 2025 14:36:09
PLEASE IGNORE fancy figure wages trotted out for Potter, basic 62 k a week, plus bonuses,
Well he didn't get many of those and these are not taken into account, in this case the settlement figures far less, and it's likely WH won't settle, unless there's a mighty discount, WH are likely to continue monthly payments
JWP c'mon get real 21 months left on contract, who is going to buy him and pay his 115 k a week wages? Answer nobody, he's more likely to sit around, maybe a loan, the three musketeers Jwp. Cornet and Rodriguez, all will be hanging on like limpets
1.) 01 Oct 2025 19:34:51
I'll bet Nuno gets rid in January.
2.) 02 Oct 2025 08:11:17
I take it all these ridiculously long contracts ( JWP and Cornet ) are the work of Moyes.
29 Sep 2025 22:14:02
SATISFIED, with that, good fight back well deserved point, gives us some hope for Arsenal, few more days to work with the team, wed!thurs Friday, got to get tighter on corners and cross balls that's Arsenals Forte
29 Sep 2025 14:34:05
SULLIVANS MATHS, why it doesn't make any sense whatsoever to any interested parties in WH
Kretinsky paid approximately £170 m for his 27.5%. Share
That values the club around £750 m, which is in line with financiers values
Sullivan wants £500 m for his shares, as he values the club. At £1.4 billion, if you look at Kretinsky purchase, Sullivans shares worth no more than £250 m
Golds shares 25% are available for £150 m
That values the club at even less £600 m!
So something wrong here, as you can see, and leaves no question about who is putting off any potential interest in a takeover
28 Sep 2025 09:24:11
I think we all virtually agree that Nuno is probably the best of the available managers, as many have stated, there's. No way Sullivan, is ever going to pay a large release clause, for anybody
Again do we have the players for Nunos style, No not really, so we just have to see how it rolls out
Bramley Dock tomorrow night, let's get behind the team, you never know?
1.) 28 Sep 2025 10:37:21
Been trying to watch videos of his tactics at different clubs and it would seem he is fairly flexible tactically. I do think at least he will play bowen in his best position, summerville and maybe even Guilherme would benefit from a fast counter attacking style. Paqueta and fernandes more than capable at playing quick forward passes into those. Should be interesting to see what he goes with as it's not given he'll be a carbon copy of what he done at forest.
Seems more charismatic and much less of a soft touch compared to Potter.
2.) 28 Sep 2025 13:46:58
Can’t agree Joyfull. Xavi would have been a better option, but the incentive would have to have been massive for him to take on WHU, and Sullivan isn’t ambitious. He’s also a penny pincher. I wouldn’t mind betting Xavi will soon be taking over at Old Trafford. I’m not convinced Nuno is the right fit for us, but time will tell. Given what’s happened in the past, I’m certainly not rushing in yet to back a manager appointed by that idiot Sullivan. Let’s see how it goes first.
3.) 28 Sep 2025 15:45:07
Xavi… he would NEVER consider us!
We need to ALL get behind Nuno and give the man a chance.
4.) 28 Sep 2025 15:48:45
YEAH, Tin, but Xavi isn’t coming to WH nor where a host of others, it was always going to be someone who was instantly available, no buy out sums involved, and for me Nuno was the best choice OF THAT LOT
So when realism is involved, that’s what you get, NOT THE BEST manager WH can or could get, just for me the best choice, of what Sullivan could get, that’s it, and that’s how I see it
Surely he must do better than Potter, and Loppy, starting tomorrow, we will get an idea?
5.) 28 Sep 2025 16:22:49
“We need to ALL get behind Nuno and give the man a chance.” Now where have I heard that before? A broken record, or history repeating itself?
6.) 28 Sep 2025 16:36:08
I agree Joyfull, there are decent managers out there that wouldn’t dream of coming to WH because of Sullivan and those that would if the money was right Sullivan wouldn’t pay for. On that basis Nuno is probably the best we could have hoped for. We’ll see ….
7.) 28 Sep 2025 17:19:31
I fully understand your comments Tin, but there was NEVER going to be a dream appointment mate
If you look at the other contenders O’Neil, Bilic Carrick, Nuno was always the likeliest
I’ll, be happy to get away from the bottom, for now, which is a big ask, and then have another look
8.) 28 Sep 2025 17:21:35
The best we could have hoped for or just a lack of ambition? A clear reason we need a change of ownership.
9.) 28 Sep 2025 18:40:31
Correct on all three points, but at this time, we are where we are, we are stuck with Sullivan and Brady, therefore no ambition for sure, we just have to hope that their days on the board are short in number, what more can you say?
10.) 28 Sep 2025 19:33:40
The owners won’t sell. Why would they? I wouldn’t if I were them. Every game is profit.
We can’t keep blaming the owners. The players are the ones not producing the goods, irrespective of the manager, owner etc.
11.) 29 Sep 2025 05:48:49
Brooking10 sullivans shares are up for sale . Whether anyone pays the required amount is another matter .
15 Oct 2025 18:09:45
I think your referring, to Castellanos, whom WH had two previous opportunities to buy him, from the MLS for 9 m, and from Lazio, last year for £25 m, he’s better In comparison to what we have, but he’s Bowens pace, He is no speed merchant
WH are limited by funds So he’s in the upper tier of what we can get
15 Oct 2025 17:54:08
Take your pick there are NO AGREEMENTS in place at present time For any positions
15 Oct 2025 17:22:21
9 clubs are apparently interested, very difficult to sort out, there could be tax ramifications involved, he’s on 440 k weekly, in the east, no clubs want to get involved in his personal business, just for a loan
Spurs and Chelsea, have the clout, if the player is interested, to maybe go for a loan with option
WH just don’t see it, on this one, WH are on the move, they have to get people in, but I don’t see WH having the clout, to sort this one, just my view mate
14 Oct 2025 21:14:11

11 Oct 2025 15:18:15
Tin, no doubt you noted that WH ITK claret and Hugh copied my post today regarding Rodriguez, that I posted YESTERDAY
This shows the strength of some of these WH ITKs hmmmm!
Rodriguez will leave, if WH settle his contract, I fancy they will , moving on
JWP, is on too much money, to settle with 20 months left on contract
Southampton, have offered a loan only, and will pay him, 40 k a week Jan to July Leaving WH with 70 k a week donation towards his wages
Depends on how Nuno sees it? Cornet out of the way until July 26
10 Oct 2025 12:45:53
Neville is out of touch completely with general society, as is Lineker, sooner both are off TV the better
08 Oct 2025 12:33:43
SPOT on, and that ties in with post on Rumours
07 Oct 2025 09:13:56
That plus a load of other forwards on a long loan list, Endrik on many clubs radar, you ask yourself how we started this season without a proper forward, just ridiculous, Nuno will do his best, but if we can’t score goals, we are in trouble that’s it
28 Sep 2025 18:40:31
Correct on all three points, but at this time, we are where we are, we are stuck with Sullivan and Brady, therefore no ambition for sure, we just have to hope that their days on the board are short in number, what more can you say?
