Yes I know they were only friendly games but to beat celtic and a very good Italian side bodes well for our season to come. I can't wait! Me and the Mrs off to Newcastle for Sunday anyone else going fancy a beer or 2? :) :)

Flying in for 1st home game vs Leicester, also booked today for December Norwich game.
I manage 4-5 games a season from Northern Ireland (originally New Zealand) . Bringing 4 year old grandson to Leicester match (got him a season ticket last year) . Fully indoctrinated, wears WHUFC strip to Sunday football at local club. What’s the email again to get his photo in the programme?

I think we played well for most of the match but dropped off last 20 minutes. If Bowen had taken the chance when he was through early on instead of mis controlling, and there were a couple of other promising moments, we could have been well clear. But we kept Spurs in it and with players like Kane, Son and Bale they only need a moment of brilliance to get a goal. Think they have an an incredibly shaky defence though. Anyway onward and upward. Easy game next up.

It would be good if he could score the goals Arnie did, but he hasn’t got that sort of power/ strength. Lingard’s game, is more like Benrahma/ Lanzini. Moyse seems to be increasing his options behind the front man.

Agree Markro but DM has a habit of changing people's game, maybe its a simple plan of the goals coming from the midfield players to support our one striker? Not sure that would work long term as apart from TS, I don't see many others assisting with goals from that area, we wait and see I guess.

Don't think the fee was ever disclosed.

If the momentum can be kept up then a west ham side in Europe would be a better attraction to transfers getting over the line, and if nothing else it makes us happy.
