I must admit that under moyes, Brentford will beat us as will Everton. He will then (if he lasts that long) beat Burnley and save his neck again. Meanwhile we drop like a stone in the league and will be out of the europa league

Yes but we must be careful what we wish for don't ya know?

What does all this 'be careful what you wish for' bulls**t actually mean anyway?

We, as West Ham fans, are wishing this season for a proper tilt at a European trophy and also by virtue of our final placing in the Premier League, European qualification once again. Neither of which, and I don't care how vociferously the Moyesitas protest to the contrary, is going to happen.

So all of this 'be careful what you wish' for bulldust is just puerile rubbish.

To coin another oft used phrase, 'What's the worst that could happen? ' I'll tell you. Absolutely nothing. We ain't getting relegated, so getting rid of Moyes risks nothing other than the delusional rantings of the Pro Moyes media.

We get rid of Moyes and bring someone else in and we still end up not qualifying for Europe. So what? We ain't going to qualify anyway by KEEPING Moyes, so nothing ventured nothing gained.

By bringing in some fresh blood, maybe at least the quality of the football will improve, players are played in their actual positions and we can perhaps look forward to non dithering transfer windows and constantly being linked to vastly overrated players who are in their 30's and on potty weekly wages.

I've never been as disillusioned as a West Ham fan as I am now. Not even during the days of Macari, Roeder or Grant was I this fed up.

I think the reason for my ire is that we've actually got good players mostly, but by God, Moyes does his absolute best to coach every ounce of talent out of them. THAT'S why I'm so cheesed off with him and his archaic, pragmatic and eye bleedingly boring approach to modern football.

Stuck between a Rock and a Hard place this season as a West Ham fan being guided by Sullivan and Moyes. I'm fed up of hearing how he is the best and most successful manager West ham have ever had?

Hardly surprising considering it costs £400m and look at the dreadful football now. If he was that good a manager, why can he not motivate the players. Why does always blame all those around him when the buck stops with him?

I'm also sick and tired of this forever "Oh, he has two games to save his neck or he has 4 games to save his neck"!

Lets be real here. Sullivan don;t want to give him a nice big fat golden handshake so he is hanging on as long as possible.

If we get a new manager in now, he has the remainder of the season the season to assess our players and get rid of those he deems not up to the grade in the summer and then get replacements.

However, this is West Ham run by Sullivan and they don;t think like that. Its all about the money which is understandable, however, the money comes from us fans and sponsorships etc and as such, we expect to be entertained. Somebody, please tell me the last time you were royally entertained at a Football match?

Mine was the 4-4 draw between Newcastle and Luton the other week. It was wonderful to watch and then, you watch us puffing and panting around the pitch, doing nothing else, but, puffing and panting.

And now we have Freiburg. if we think that this tie will be the same as the group games then we are dillusional. Freiburg will come flying out the traps and beat us handsomly on current form. OK, we sack MOYES and get a new manager with a new football philosophy but this should have been done already instead of hanging on and on, and maybe, just maybe, we might have had a good run in the EUROPA LEAGUE under a new manager. As things stand and the football (if you can call it that) we play, we are winning nothing

Seems we've offered moyes a new contract and he is taking his time weighing up his options and he will decide at the end of the season. All this sack talk couldn't be further from the truth of what's actually happening behind the scenes at West ham so Daisy wasn't far wrong!

Osh,
In which case, it could be my suggestion that Moyes’ contract offer includes performance indicators and handing over transfer responsibility to Tim Steidten, which Moyes is mulling over. I can’t see him accepting those terms, so hopefully he’ll walk.

5.) 23 Feb 2024
23 Feb 2024 16:23:31
If this is true then one million percent SULLY, BRADY need to follow the scotsman out of west ham, I see we have had a great next opponent in FREIBURG which means the way we are playing at the minute I wouldn't be confident of winning but MOYES will 100% walk at the end of the season and I can't wait for the ? to feck off.⚒⚒⚒

6.) 23 Feb 2024
23 Feb 2024 20:01:51
Surely this can’t be true. This sounds like Moyes and the board somehow trying to save face in saying they won’t bow to pressure from the fans and they have secretly asked him to leave at the end of the season but he will walk and make it seem it was his own choice. Just a massive PR EXERCISE.
Because if they offered him a new contract even if only for a year, why on earth would he not sign it? Because once that is signed and we carry on losing they would have to pay another season’s compensation.
Mind you we do have a chairman who makes Arthur Daley and Del Trotter look like reputable businessmen ?

7.) 24 Feb 2024
23 Feb 2024 21:57:39
Let's be honest, are we surprised woth this considering how sullivan conducts his business, always looking for the cheapest option unless he is pushed into forking out for the last option?

8.) 24 Feb 2024
24 Feb 2024 06:46:51
Have a guess who scored for LYON yesterday.BENRHAMA so that's FORNALS and BENNY both on the scoresheet for their new clubs, is that a coincidence MOYES no it's because they are allowed to play without being told GET BACK I get you have to sometimes track back but FORNALS wasnt a winger imo he's an 8 or a 10.⚒⚒⚒

9.) 24 Feb 2024
24 Feb 2024 08:49:40
Agree, Such a shame when the shackles are off what some forwards can do, unfortunately it will remain that way until we get an attack minded Manager that knows you need to score goals to win matches!
⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

10.) 24 Feb 2024
24 Feb 2024 12:24:11
Well don't hold your breath everyone because sullivan HAS offered moyes a new contract and this has now been confirmed. Sullivan always likes the easy way out and he is the poison that runs through the veins of this club

11.) 24 Feb 2024
24 Feb 2024 17:52:13
A guy on another website seems to be agreeing with my suggestion that Moyes has been offered a contract which includes performance indicators and more power to Tim Steidten — one Moyes is not happy with. However, if he does not improve the team’s performances over the next few weeks, I think the club WILL pull the plug. ??????

12.) 25 Feb 2024
25 Feb 2024 13:07:31
Well everybody, its a total shambles. Will they, won't they all season long. Amazing for me how every player recently that's left us has gone on to bigger and better things. Benrahma and Fornals being the latest of which? Does this AGAIN not point the finger at the poor way MOYES manages players?

Coupled with his disdain for the fans? How many more signs does our board (SULLIVAN ACTUALLY) need before they finally see the light.

I've no doubts Brentford will beat us tomorrow night, the question is, how much longer must we suffer this circus?

13.) 25 Feb 2024
25 Feb 2024 15:15:54
I know what you mean Daisy, the whole situation is a farce. And also we are one of a number of clubs chasing Santiago Gimenez in the summer but Feyenoord want in excess of 60m euros. So, in true West ham fashion, this saga will drag on all summer and in the end we will get Peter Crouch on season long loan at £700,000. Ridiculous

14.) 25 Feb 2024
25 Feb 2024 22:00:23
Moyes will more than likely not sign on. Timing also plays in part in this and hopefully Moyes will move on.
This will not unfortunately change much at WH like many posters here would think. We are very much restricted by the owners and FFP. Any new manager coming in would be restricted to financial constraints probably worse this coming window than ever before.
Entertaining football in the prem does come at cost you only have to look at Leeds.
Let’s get behind the team for the remaining games so that we can finish the season on a high.

15.) 26 Feb 2024
26 Feb 2024 12:10:53
Paqueta is back tonight; Phillips banned but may have been dropped anyway (yay) . We can leapfrog Wolves into eighth spot if we win ; more realistically I think even a draw would be good for us, arresting our slide somewhat.

16.) 26 Feb 2024
26 Feb 2024 12:31:11
My worst fear for tonight is that Moyes plays Paqueta, he's not ready and gets injured again. If that happens I worry that we may never see him play for us again.

I mean, I actually feel for Moyes here a bit, talk about damned if you do and damned if you don't.

17.) 26 Feb 2024
26 Feb 2024 14:02:35
Yeah agreed Billy over Paqueta. I hope he don;t rush him back just to save his own neck.

Anyway, it Seems MOYES wants to leave at the end of the Season if TS is boss?

It has now been rumoured that the reason for MOYES hesitancy is because of a stipulation in the small print. The suggestion is that any new deal would be signed as a head coach rather than manager. This would give full power of transfers to director of football Tim Steidten, with Moyes solely responsible for first-team selection and tactics.

Moyes is thought to be unhappy with the terms of the new deal, which would see his power and influence diminished and therefore this is the main reason he wants to wait until the end of the season.

Tony Cottee Meanwhile (West Ham Legend) has come our and is raging at the way the board are behaving over the entire affair and is calling for them to "One way or another" either Sack Moyes or don't but get on with it.

Also, Tim Steidten is apparently scouting out a new FIRST TEAM COACH as he will become know as we do away with the "MANAGER" Title. Things are changing, just too damn slowly

26 Feb 2024 19:44:37
Disagree with the thinking that a draw would be a good result. At home to a team that's 16th in the League is not now, nor ever should be a game where a draw would be even remotely acceptable.

That said, I don't think we'll have to worry about drawing - Maupay only ever scores against us and Ivan Toney will be licking his lips with the prospect of facing up against Zouma. Hope not, but I'm fearing a long night.

19.) 26 Feb 2024
26 Feb 2024 19:13:50
MOYES will because he doesn't give a feck about west ham or fans only himself the man has a form of sociopathy imo, so don't be suprised if he breaks down tonight he's only playing to make DD look good as why rush him back if your comfortably safe in the league and europe being a little ways to go, no I'm sorry this is DD ego trip full stop.⚒⚒⚒

{Ed002's Note - I don’t think any of that i true.}
