I’d like to see both Mavro and Kudus start today.

I think Dino might start, but I doubt Kudus will.

Neither, then.

Unbelievable. Neither of them start.

I was hopeful of a high tempo, confident display from us this afternoon. I'm not so sure now.

My heart says a nice 4-0+ drubbing of the Sean Beanies today, my head though can't shake the thoughts of a turgid 0-0 or even worse, a thoroughly dour 0-1.

I having been thinking it's funny how ALVAREZ doesn't need time but KUDUS does when they both playes for AJAX ones a MOYES type player in ALVAREZ but KUDUS a flair player MOYES doesn't like playing funny that I can see right through you David.⚒⚒⚒

Antonio has been woeful. When he stays upright, his touch is far too heavy, and somebody should tell him that a striker should learn to shoot with both feet. Let’s face it, he has a decent game one in every five games. I expect the striker of my team to have four out of five good games. Instead, we are stuck with a lumbering liability who is too far the wrong side of 30. At least Moyes has now dragged him off. Roll on January.

Ant bashing again???Isn’t this a team game????you should be grateful to WH or you’d have nothing to moan about????COYI⚒⚒, by the way we won today???⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

Good solid performance without the frills. Thought Alvarez and Soucek excellent again. We certainly look a team in the fight for positions 4-6. Still unsure about Kudos. Maybe one for next season. Our starting 11 is our best 11, and the team obviously enjoy playing the way we are. Keep it up West Ham.

Too bloody right I’m critical of Antonio with another performance like that. Nothing constructive in your remarks other than sarcasm in response to justified criticism. ?

Sorry to say it but its again down to players performing consistently. We have far too many being carried week in week out and its always been that way. Antonio and benrahma are just rubbish and seem to think rolling around the floor in another players spit is the answer when they lose the ball. don't get me all wrong, bowen and paqueta bust a gut every week but we have far too many with little or no talent that are carried by the rest.

Agreed, Osh. Yesterday, we were weak in the final third. We should have steamrollered Sheff Utd. They were awful. Yes, three points is three points, but this was an opportunity after two losses to send a message to the premiership. We only scored two because we didn’t have a striker on the pitch. You can’t count Antonio who nowadays only seems to concentrate on flapping his laughing gear. I noticed Moyes made very late substitutions. Why on earth didn’t he use Mubama? What sort of message does that send to the young man?

12.) 01 Oct 2023
01 Oct 2023 20:59:13
It is irrelevant mentioning Benrahma, he does not start. Mubama is 18, and no-where near strong enough or good enough presently. Antonio, may not be everyone's favourite player, but he ploughs a lone furrow up front. There is no-one else presently to play up top, or play the same way, so give the man a break! ps. Antonio was also in the UEFA team of the year last season! Get behind the man and the team!

Benrahma is irrelevant? Nonsense. He is a regular first team player, and whether you like him or love him, he has to be considered. And to suggest Mubama is too young to even be given any minutes at all in the Premiership is plain naïvety.

02 Oct 2023 13:09:49
No, I didn’t mean to say ‘loathe’ instead of ‘love’. He’s a West Ham player who hasn’t been given a fair crack of the whip by Moyes. There’s no doubt he has attacking flair, but falls short in his final ball. That is a coaching problem.
Antonio, on the other hand, has been flogged to death as a centre forward by Moyes. He still falls short in his final ball most of the time. I actually like him, but only in his right position as a wide player. The sooner we get a couple of players suited to spearheading the attack, the better. Mubama could be one of them, but Moyes doesn’t seem keen to start easing him into the team to see if that might work. It won’t be long before Mubama joins the growing list of young players running out of patience. Rice was 18 when Bilic started easing him into the team. Other 18 year old debutees include Cristiano Ronaldo and Bobby Charlton. Mubama needs playing time.

The irrelevance re Benrahma by Cupwinners was because Benny rarely gets enough playing time to be critical of him?
Do posters on here that continually moan about certain players, especially those that do contribute to games in many ways other than those that we know who don’t, expect us to have a player in every position that never makes mistakes, how many mistakes have these posters made in there everyday working lives, get real chaps about our team!
Many of these players are overplayed and overworked, with PL games, National games, Euro games, they are only human, yes fantastically paid, but that’s not their fault? COYI ⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒

Chelmsford: “The irrelevance re Benrahma by Cupwinners was because Benny rarely gets enough playing time to be critical of him? ”
You cannot be serious. Benrahma doesn’t play for the odd 5 mins every now and then! Get real.
And we are plainly not talking about the odd mistake! Criticism is levelled at a player who continuously fails to achieve the purpose of his role in the team. Not sometimes his fault when played out of position, but often just a poor performance. Accepted, humans are not infallible, but then again we are not all paid nearly £100,000 a week, are we?

Money is irrelevant, you should know that, would you not take that kind of money if offered?
No doubt Tinny if you were playing in his position or any position you would skin the marker every time and never make any mistakes ?, score every game and if you were the Manager, we’d win the Champions League every year??
Sorry to be so facetious, but afraid your postings encourage it for me??COYI⚒⚒⚒⚒⚒
