At long last we are after a LB, make no mistake Kostic was. Better than good against us year before last and it's not been forgotten , a deal on a loan with option we can't go wrong, there's time to get him, but the Brazil forwards this is unlikely distance and timings too great, Tim has been fantastic best we have ever had , as I mentioned last week Sevillas maths didn't suit Fornals plus 18 m euros up front, they just don't want to part with En Nesyri, Ekitike, has many clubs in for him now, it's a lottery maybe but unlikely , it's been a good window whatever happens now, Lingard meeting September 4th what deal going to be offered?

I think many fans still have a sour taste about Lingard, but it is to his advantage that he is home grown, so maybe a one year deal, or even a pay as you play one, might suit both parties. I haven’t heard that anyone else at all is interested in him, so we’re in the driving seat. Letting him train with us gives us an option.

I’ve just read that the Pedro thing is still being looked at because any Alberto deal would be far too complicated with Zenit’s part ownership.

Pedro is currently a better player.p anyway.

Just checked. Kostic is 31 in Nov, so spending much money for a short term deal might not be too sensible.

Or maybe it isn't, but, at £12m, its a no brainer. If we could him, sell Cornet, bring in a striker, maybe IHEANACHO for £20m that a great window.

This game is made for KUDUS 30 mins gone and we are finding it difficult as LUTON ain't piling players forward so we can't catch them on the counter attack so MOYES needs to alter the tactics as they ain't great and the only way they will score is from a corner or set piece.⚒⚒⚒

Our last bit of business will be signing Lingard next week.

Useless board."there wasn't enough time" BS as always. They must think we are stupid. How many times have they pulled that stunt? We've had a great start, made some great signings and with 1 or 2 more we might be real contenders this season. As is, if we get couple Injuries, especially up front and full back, we will struggle. But it's OK, Moyes got Lingard back again after he refused us, firstly went back to united and then when they released him, went to forest because "HE FELT MORE LOVE" FROM FOREST! Absolute shambles and typical of how this club is run. AM I bitter? Your damn right I am. The same BS behaviour wasting time mulling, pondering, considering and then feeding us some lame excuse "we tried" every damn window. Spending half the window chasing 1 player (this window zakaria) when that time wasted could have been useful on another player. Am done with this constant BS and Moyes!

{Ed001's Note - have you thought that perhaps most of the 'mulling' etc is just clickbait stories?}

Point taken Ed, but it doesn’t change the fact that we knew Rice was on his dancers and we needed strengthening in some areas long before we started our transfer business!

{Ed001's Note - it has been a difficult year for everyone in recruitment thanks to the Saudis. Plus you had Steidten still finding his feet.}

15.) 02 Sep 2023
02 Sep 2023 15:08:44
More like Steidten trying to climb over the wall that is David Moyes.

{Ed001's Note - it was Moyes that fought to have him brought in. Sullivan wanted to do it all himself but Moyes only returned on the proviso that a DoF/Sporting Director was brought in to run the recruitment. The issue is very unlikely to be Moyes, much as he can be a ditherer, it is interference from above that has been the Hammers problem for years now.}

16.) 02 Sep 2023

Moyes thought he would retain control of incomings and was put out when he realised it wasn’t working that way. Accepted Sullivan has always been a twerp when it comes to transfers, but I don’t think even Moyes could foresee how it actually worked out!

{Ed001's Note - I really don't believe that to be in any way true mate. The reason Moyes was got rid of the first time around was because he requested the change then to a set up like this. He just wanted to get a proper professional scouting system in place to find players for him. He is not difficult to work with in that respect. He wants the help to source and recruit players.}

So what you are saying is Steidten and Moyes have always been best buddies and it’s been Sullivan who has caused all the delays and problems, despite everything we’ve heard? You might be right of course, but I doubt it, given what we know of Moyes’ opinion of himself.

{Ed001's Note - no, I didn't say they were best buddies at all. I was just saying that all the clickbait nonsense is not true. That Moyes was the one who wanted a DoF/SD. Though Sullivan has been the cause of a large number of delays and problems and clickbait writers just make up stories to get clicks about mulling over bids etc. You think they have any idea what West Ham are thinking about doing? If you do then you deserve to be lied to by those hacks who are making up crap to get clicks.}

18.) 02 Sep 2023
02 Sep 2023 21:39:13
No, I’m not gullible, but Moyes clearly thinks his opinion counts above others. I cannot accept that players like Maguire and McTominay were the choice of Steidten. And if ALL rumours were manufactured like you suggest, how come some ended up as fact, like the interest in JWP, Alvarez, Kudus, etc.? Sorry, but I just find it hard to believe that EVERYTHING was clickbait.

{Ed001's Note - this is a pointless conversation. I can't be bothered as you can't understand what I am saying and keep deliberately misinterpreting everything just to suit your agenda against Moyes. You just carry on lapping up the nonsense like a good little clicker and it will continue to feed your agenda nicely.}

02 Sep 2023 22:42:13
That’s a shame. I do understand what you’re saying. I just disagree that all rumours about Steidten and Moyes were just clickbait.
