Any true in were trying to hijack the kazar samardzie deal from inter Milan
22m is a real steal

{Ed002's Note - Lazar Samardzic (CM) Likely arriving at Inter from Udinese and may free up Barella to depart but his agents are making huge demands to complete the transfer and Inter are not looking to get involved in such discussions. Napoli, Fulham and Leeds have enquired but no offers yet.}

Thanks Ed the kid looks really good and if the reported price 22m is correct would love us to be all over it
Also reading this morning the man city lad palmer maybe be available
Both players would be great addition to our team expect both to push on given half a chance

{Ed002's Note - Cole Palmer (AM) RBL and Brighton have had offers turned down for Palmer whilst West Ham maintain an interest in taking the player and could now look to negotiating to take him in part exchange for for Lucas Paqueta. A loan may be more possible.}

At last, something positive to talk about. Cole Palmer would be a definite move in the right direction. He’s a versatile young player who can only develop and, given the opportunity, would be a benefit to any team.

We are said to be looking at Mohamed Kudus and Johan Bakayoko both quick and creative.

Would hate to lose Paqueta but getting a huge amount of cash plus Palmer would soften the blow a bit.

If we are going to lose PAQUETA then ask for PALMER and £45million as if RICE and CAICEDO are worth £100 million then so is PAQUETA I know they are different players but PAQUETA is a game changer and with DE BRUYNE having done his hamstring then it all depends as if he's torn it he could be out for months I rate PALMER at about £40 or £50 million.

40/50m seems very steep he's still to show how he handles himself in the league definitely think he can go on to be a exciting player
And really like were being linked with younger exciting players who want to prove themselves
I definitely think this is the way forward for us but am worried about how long it takes us to get a player over the line
Reports say maguire want £190k a week time to move on if true we can't break our wage structure for him

Just a quick point on what Paqueta is worth. He is an automatic Brazil starter and we all saw how he can play in the PL in the last part of last season.

Apparently there is an £85m release clause in his contract which becomes effective next season. So he is valued at £85m in a year’s time. Any current price should include a premium for us not having him this season (and the buyer getting an extra year of the player) . Bear in mind that at 25 an extra year is probably more than 10% of the rest of his career. 10% of £85m = £8.5m. Add them together = £93.5m.

His value will increase.

A report today said we’re looking for £95.2m (strange figure, but there ya go) .

Of course, I’d rather he stayed and we added more quality this window. We’ll see, I suppose.

Lucas Paqueta showed more towards the end of the season than the beginning last year as he settled in to the club.

Personally, if his head has been turned (as Moyes says it has) and he wants to leave West Ham for Man City, I can't really blame him. the thought of playing for a Treble winning team, managed by Guardiola, instead of Moyes.? Come on who wouldn't be interested?

If he does go. I would want us to take Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Cole Palmer in exchange with money. Forget about signing Maguire and spend the money we have on Ian Maatsen (LB) and Connor Gallagher (AM) from Chelsea and Elye Wahi (F) from Montpellier.

If there are funds left over in the coffers for another forward and a right back, then even better!

The grapevine is alight with rumours that WHU is seriously going for Mohammed Kudus. Reported in al the usual places, including the serious sources.

Believe it when I see it. MOYES is far too busy chasing his MAN UTD friends

Moyes didn't even select Edson Alvarez for the bench against Bournemouth and he is a defensive midfielder, so I can't see him putting Kudus in the team as he is an ATTACK minded, FORWARD thinking player with FLAIR. Those words are like blasphemy to Moyes's footballing ideologies

AGREED DIE. Its pointless recruiting players with any decent calibre cause iof they arn't moyes choices he just won;t play them. let's just get LINGARD in again and am sure he will be one of the first names on the team sheet cause he is a MOYES favourite. AM sick to death of this manager and the sooner he is gone the better

Yes the "boy" is apparently training with us. Moyes will get him in to quell the " no new strikers" clamour. Or attempt to.
