C&h reporting we went back in with a 50m bid that was also rejected and we won't be going any higher.

Alvarez for 35m would be better value imo, rather have him and one of, fofana, Scott, musah, zakaria for 60m compared to 50 for paulinha

Yeah exactly. And those out there that keep shouting "calm down, window is open until 01st Sep" I say, " just under 3 weeks to season starts and we are not ready" which could spell disaster. Moyes cannot make his mind up and all we ever do is talk. Even when we finally decide which players we want, it takes us weeks to get deals done! And your not concerned

If previous windows are to go I wouldn't be surprised if we wasted some more time on Paulinha.

I think a deal for Alvarez could be done quickly problem is Moyes is still very much in charge according to C&H, so we will probably spend the next couple weeks bidding for ward-prowse despite defensive midfield being our biggest priority, we could definitely use new full backs aswell with Cresswell and Johnson looking likely to leave.

Looks like we are in for another poor start to the season.
