I would like to see us sign this Sander Berge from Genk
Looks like a solid CM with a lot of potential as he is still very young, I'm sure a decent offer on the table would persuade them, but in my eyes I can't see us offering it,
Any thoughts?

And with Randolph coming in this must free up roberto to head back to the la liga, I don't mind paying for his travel LOL!

Sander Berg and Gedson Fernandes would be two solid investments and along with Rice would be the heart of our midfield for years. We should be going all out for both of these! Never replaced Kouyate, Obiang or edi fernandes and with noble aging this is much needed and logical unfortunately logic doesn't seem to come into the equation with the Daves.

Gedson fernandes deal has "surprise surprise" stalled and genk are looking at keeping sander berge unless a realistic offer is received but there may be good news on joe Allen typical west ham transfer news.

Mac, I think Joe Allen would be a really good signing, proven Premiership and International experience, prefer a player who’s ability we know, providing he’s injury free, still has a few years in him yet!

He is not a box to box player with pace to burn and full of energy that we´ve needed for that last 3-4 seasons!

Not the answer for me. we need to get the age down in this team and the energy up, not keep doing the West Ham thing and sign players at the tail end of their career!

Costa, why are we not blooding the youngsters then? When you look at the rubbish we’ve wasted money on, I do feel there’s not enough time in the Premiership when you’re hovering around the relegation zone to bed players in, the new recruits need to hit the ground running, that’s why I prefer experienced Premiership players when you’re in a dogfight to stay up! ⚒⚒.

Chelsea just bid £22M more than we did for Fernandes, so that's that done.

We'll end up with Joe Allen for a ridiculous £10M. Stoke fans will be laughing their heads off.

Rather than Joe Allen who’s almost 30 we should be looking at Marcos Alonso, who in my opinion is still in the top 10 left backs playing in England. Chelsea want shot of him I hear and for me, we need a left back and right back desperately, so he fits the bill for me. Short 2 year contract.
If I have to see Masuaku come on to the pitch one more time I’m going to sh@t my pants again!

Chelsea in for Gedson could just be a made up article. When the first people to break these stories are the likes of the sun and the daily Express I'm always sceltical. Same idiots printed we were in for 70 million koulibaly. Until people like the Ed's on this site or exwhuemployee shed some light on the transfers I wouldn't believe some of the rubbish they print, although Chelsea beating us to gedson wouldn't be a suprise the papers will have him linked to arsenal and Tottenham next.

As for allen its typical west ham! talk about signing younger talent then signing a 30 year old from the championship. No doubt he could do a job for us and I'd rather have him than Sanchez but I don't think he's what we need as mentioned above we need someone more dynamic in our midfield.

Surprisingly January has thrown up 2 solid possibilities of berg and gedson if we can get them now we should jump at the opportunity they would soon be out of west ham's reach if they continue to develop towards their potential.

Costa, it’s all about opinions but were any given much of a chance, I agree if not good enough, that’s it, but when we are playing players not already good enough, what do you do then other than give others a fair chance! have never seen any of the youngsters play so am not in a position to comment on their abilty really, But look at the rubbish we are actually paying or have had game time that have been employed, Roberto, Sanchez, Wilshere (biggest mistake ever! ) Yarmolenko, that’s who comes to mind! Could any have done much worse? ⚒⚒⚒⚒.
