Please somebody tell me that we've not wasted another summer chasing Gomez and rondon only for one to be going to Valencia and the other going to china.

{Ed002's Note - Callum Wilson and Borja Iglesias might be next up on the list.}

We'll end up with Rondon and Llorente.

Transfer season is tough ed, at least the scatter gun is in the cabinet and some reason is being shown by the recruitment team ( for now lol )

{Ed002's Note - It is tough for lots of sides - and with multiple clubs looking at the same players a good sales pitch is required. If it includes Champions League it is a bonus. West Ham are still selling a project - but they are still better off than Everton and Arsenal.}

No to Wilson, his knees are shot. Don’t know enough about Inglesias.

I am, however still has lying out hope for Gomez or Belotti.

Happy with belotti and gomez. Potentially chicharito to Valencia freeing up Gomez to us.

I think Belotti has had knee injuries too. We were linked to weghorst and a few other strikers should be interesting to see who we end up with. Hopefully we haven't missed a trick with Moares going to villa. I remember ed mentioning a young French striker playing in ligue 2 not the attacker arsenal wanted. I hope we can get 2 strikers in the next couple weeks would be nice!

id like to see what weghorst would be like in prem i wondered if he would be anotherjansen big old lad though carrolls replacement.

{Ed002's Note - Weghorst will not be joining WHU Noel.}

Why do you say we're better off than Everton and Arsenal Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - Everton have been throwing money at the club with little success. They are located in a crumbling stadium in the grim, wet and cobbled streets of the Northwest of England where there would be a significant cultural change for players, smog, dead & dying pit ponies laying on the street, little chance of football at the highest level and only chips and fried curry to eat. Arsenal have no project to sell and a management structure that is a complete mess - and with money not being spent without significant sales they will struggle to inprove. West Ham have a project to sell, a very good stadium, owners who have seen the light about interfering and are attracting players over the other sides (e.g. Fornals).

Point of interest. In the north west we don't have dead and dying ponies on our cobbled streetls in fact we have lots of filming such as peaky blinders, Cilla to name but a few. I would have thought London had far more air pollution than the north west. We have lots of fantastic restaurants we are not just pie and chips. Liverpool was capital of culture and last year staged the giants that attracted millions if people. we have cruise lines visiting the city. but of course would be a cultural bombshell to sign for any club up north! . that's what players must think when signing for lpool and man u and man city. jesus what about them cobbled streets! Players sign for money contracts and the hope of winning cups and medals. I find your reply disappointing and very stereotypical. Sad. Yes agree we have a crumbling stadium but that will be rectified in the coming years. but we have a passionate fan base and that counts more than a soulless stadium of which I could name a few. i always look out for your replies as you insight into dealings is second to none but I cannot and will not let you deride a club and and a region without reply. I find your response saddening.

{Ed002's Note - This is why you are a laughing stock I am afraid.}

😂. another positive for the north west.! . always look at the west ham site as both clubs always seem to be going for the same players! Anyways good luck to the hammers for the forthcoming season👍. NB. where has iron Mike gone on your site? Thought he had lots of good info. Cheers.

Sdblue1, I don’t go for throwing derisory remarks to posters on our site, I think you were very restrained in being so polite in your responses, which is to be admired👍I personally wouldn’t have been inclined to make such a passive remark, so well done you👍Iron Mike no longer posts on here?

I must say when i went to Livepool Stadium the area was like going back 60 years at Avestone road Manor park before it was knocked down Its blighted by boarded up 2up 2down old houses i'm sure the coucil know this as the area is due a big revamp as a lot of Liverpool has in the last few years. Their are some rearly nice areas and a few that needs revamping to say the least but London East was the same before the Docklands project happened. Livepooll stadium and Everton stadium will be taken down and rebuilt so let's not forget we too had an old woderful Stadium but it was time to move as i'm sure Everton has plans too.
