Any idea what's going on with Guilherme? Rumours that we'll sell him in January. Think that would be crazy - a loan I can see working but will come back to bite us if we let him go permanently

Its a very bizarre situation indeed. None of the 3 managers he’s had at WH appear to rate him yet Steidten paid £20m plus for him. I wonder if he is a problem child? The snippets we’ve seen I’ve felt given a run there could be a really good player there but I’m not a professional football coach …there is obviously something not right

There’s no problem with Guilherme, as a player or person, he hasn’t met with perceived expectations, that’s the nub of it

WH want to part with him ( and others ) , obviously would like to get their total outlay back, looks unlikely

There will be customers for a loan, WH would prefer a sale if possible

I agree selling him would be a huge mistake imo, kid has a lot of potential he just needs a run of games which i don't think will happen here so why don't we look to loan him, then we can review in the summer.

There must be something up with him our squad is extremely light at the moment and he still doesn't get a look in, he should be a perfect replacement for summerville when he needs a rest as he has similar attributes

Don’t get me wrong, I like the look of him but 3 coaches have ignored him. Personally I hope Nuno gives the lad a go otherwise how does he improve. It’s really odd given how thin our squad is ….

Whats the point in haveing an Academy if our youth are not getting the chance to progress to the first team

You’re missing the point. Everyone agrees that good youth players should PROGRESS to the first team, but they shouldn’t be suddenly landed there without a graded development. That could be detrimental.
