Alvarez Aguerd Areola Rodriguez Emerson so far, Kilman is unhappy with Potters tactics, TBH. I think they all are

DOING the same thing again and again, and expecting different results!

Aguerd - wanted to move since he came back
Areola - didn't like being dropped for Fab
Rodriguez - was also dropped for a while.
Emerson - dropped for scarles.

The issue here is the players attitude. There is no team spirit there.
I don't like Potter but player power is ridiculously out of control - hence why kudus was moved on and the others being named.

Team spirit looked ok pre season ? the thing is you have to name a 25 man squad so inevitably there will be players that won’t start/play, if they do want to be picked for the starting 11 then they’ve got to buck there ideas up and play better when they do get the chance and/or perform better in training to give the manager something to think about.

I thought to myself at the time the the preseason thing is a complete PR exercise and waste of time. I saw the pre season videos last year with Loppy everyone was happy, smiling all looked good then the the wheels came off almost immediately.
It’s not real work, it’s playing teams who are not going full throttle and not trying over much ourselves. Once we got one bad result I knew the sham would fall apart. I didn’t see anything in the preseason game I watched v Lille to have any confidence in this season. The team spirit did seem better but there was nothing riding on the match. And Fulkrug looked good.
What amazes me Potter has not tried different tactics and formations. I would like to see him gone asap.
Do I know who they should replace him with? No
Do I have any confidence this board will employ the correct replacement. Absolutely not in fact it will probably be the opposite. But that is still no reason to stick with Potter

I am not sticking up for Potter as its being portrayed. I believe he has been more than lucky to have nearly half a season and pre season to try new ideas and has failed. I don't rate him as a manager. I just think on the personnel he is trying to move on that its correct decision if they are not good for team spirit, which alvarez is not. Straight after our loss he is posting cryptic messages on social media, from day 1 angling for a move.
West ham got it wrong when a few years in europe we then tried to sign 'bigger' players who do not play for the badge and have 1 eye on the exit before even their first game. Kudus, alvarez, paqueta are all in this bracket, todibo. Aguerd doesn't want to be here

I agree Chris, we are in desperate need of players who’ll roll up their sleeves and get stuck in because they want to play for the badge . There are far too many that don’t really give a monkeys chuff about WHUFC
