Get rid of him. Too many yellow and red cards

Move Alvarez on. Clearly Potter's 1st priority is moving players out who don't want to be there.
When Alvarez came to us he was clear that WHU wasnt a long term project for him, he had gambled on the Stieden project as his stepping stone (along with Kudus) and we have gone downhill since then. He wants out to a bigger or European club (same as Kudus did) so move him on. He has been fairly professional to be fair, he is a leader and a captain and having someone like that who is not bought into the club is not ideal, move him on.
£19m is too low though, we should be getting £25m for him.
Guido was ok vs Sunderland, but we still need to move him on.

We need to replace him, and from the players i see linked to us, i would be rather happy if we got Bissouma (Spurs) and Mukau (Lille) . Not sure where Bissouma's head is these days but i think he wants out of Spurs and he has played very well in Potter's system before. Brighton got him from Lille also, so Makau would be following a similar path to Bissouma. Bissouma has 1yr left on contract (not sure if Spurs have option) so he is available for around £15m apparently - doesn't have to be these two though, we must get the players Potter wants! what's the situ with Onyedinka?

Then we DESPERATELY need some creativity also. Maybe Elliot is still an option on loan, i don't think he has gone anywhere yet. Fernandes would be great but Soton want way too much. He's a £30m-£35m player tops right now. £50m is ridiculous, Zubamendi was £50m and he was one of the best CMs in La Liga last year, Fernandes looked good in a team that got just 12 points last year. If Paqueta also leaves we will need a creative player even more!

NICKINHO nice post, BUT, It’s Players that don't WANT TO PLAY FOR POTTER, not don’t want to play for WH as a. club, , that’s causing the problems, that’s the difference, so potter gets in another two or three people to play his style, do you think that’s going to work? , make the difference and get us up the table? I don’t perhaps you do? Sorry Mate, that’s my view

Joyful you may very well be right my friend, but neither of us can be sure. Fans didn't pick Potter, but he is our manager and he needs the players to fit his system before he can ever be judged. If he wants a player out then I say let's do it, but if Sulli doesn't replace them with Potter's choices then it's ultimately down to Sulli for cocking it all up.
No player is bigger than the manager. If they don't like the tactics they still have to knuckle down, do their best and play them still, or sit on bench like a child. Results will be the judge for the manager, not a player throwing toys out because they aren't good enough to play them.
Way I see it, Alvarez didn't suit Lopi's game (too slow) and he struggles in Potter's also, Kudus was played out of position because Bowen is simply better than him. They are at a key part in their careers where they want to be at a bigger clubs in Europe, and have teams built around them, but they frankly haven't earned that right at WHU. For me they don't want WHU because they believe they should be in Europe, meanwhile they can't even make a WHU team playing so poorly. A true pro earns their moves rather than throwing toys out.

For the record, I don't like a 3 CB system, so I am first to criticize his system. i'd prefer a back 4 and a dedicated dm and Bowen on the right wing. Potter has a different vision though, and the owners agreed to it, so they need to back it or take responsibility!

Nick, problem is whichever you look at it, and I like your posts, but it’s a RESULTS BUSINESS, in the end that’s ALL THAT COUNTS

POTTERS stats are terrible, he plays one way, looks to have learnt nothing
Next few games will tell the story, if he plays the same, he’s not there long
