Somethings going on at WH, I'm told that Jarrod Bowen as Captain, is airing his views, to someone on the board ( don't know who ) re Potter, his tactics and Instructions, the players are unhappy with the manager it seems, this is heading for trouble of some kind

If this is true it’s not good news. Regardless of whether people like Potter or not it will cost some of the already limited transfer budget to get rid of him and then Sullivan will hire a knee jerk cheap replacement similar to Loopy then where will we be. We can’t keep hiring and firing managers as players won't want to play for us ……As you say Joyful it appears there’s evidence of this already. Some of these players need to be accountable for what's gone wrong and personally I’d rather see some of them go before swapping managers willy nilly

If Jarrod Bowen, who has been extremely loyal, is questioning the manager’s ability or tactics it can only call into question those very things. It sounds like he and other players have no confidence in him.

That still doesn’t make it the right decision to get rid of him

Dabber, if the guy whose tactics dictate how we play is clueless, it doesn’t matter who you bring in. Poor tactics result in poor performances, result in poor results, result in relegation. And good players do not want to play for a club in decline where the current staff are obviously unhappy. This is already happening. The manager role is pivotal.

Definitely not. No player is bigger than the club or the manager and IF bowen has said something he needs to learn to be quiet or get out aswell

Anyone paying attention can see Sullivans put the orders out to whetstone. To undermine potter Gonzo from the club stooges site and hammers chat is pumping out anti potter articles and videos like it's going out of fashion. The dwarf wants to appoint allegri .

The fact he plays terrible football and can't get results or improve the players he has at his disposal makes it the right decision to get rid of him though, it will be a long season next season with an inevitable change happening by Xmas when we are flirting with relegation, we are only going to be able to sell our most talented players nobody is going to buy the likes of JWP leaving us with the a core of mediocre players who we can't replace because no one will want to foot the bill for thier wages, and who are we going to attract in the last week of the window to replace the outgoing players? Kudos, paqutta, alvarrz? We aren't going to get anyone anywhere near there class

IF they pull the plug who would we bring in? Lots of talk about Allegri, Sarri and Bielsa going around! Personally if they going to do it then just do it but I think he was always on a loser with this bunch of players so give him this window and next season

I was very much a Potter advocate for who was available when Loppy was dismissed, I judged this solely on his Brighton Management, of course he failed miserably at Chelsea, but you’re not necessarily going to succeed at every club!
However I see nothing wrong with Bowen as Captain discussing the players apparent discontent with his tactics if the rumour is true. I believe Bowen has become a true ⚒ and has a right to air his views on behalf of the players providing he has said the same to Potter beforehand!
I also love Soucek no matter what other posters on here say about him, I would hate to see him go! Moyes will snap him up and rightly so. ⚒⚒⚒COYI

Of those 3 I would like Bielsa, but I’m not sure he would be popular with many as he is a bit odd. Not sure about the other 2 they may be a bit conservative obviously good cvs .
We can’t rely on Burnley, Leeds and the play off winner all being relegated next season. With the exodus of all our best players, I can only see being a disaster because we are now so low in the league and play such dreadful football, no decent player will even consider coming to us. Many teams work with a DOF which has been the case at Brighton and Chelsea, so he has to work with who is given, he should be used to that and be able to get those players to play better and get better results. It hasn’t worked.

IMO, we keep getting our manager wrong because Sullivan doesn’t go for the best man for the job. His blanket refusal to pay another club compensation results in a reduced pool from which to choose. Only unemployed managers are considered. They are unemployed for a reason. Sullivan should be prepared to use some of the transfer funds to pay off another club. Yes, that costs a few million, but if we get the best man, it would save money in the long run. Personally, I think Thomas Frank would be a perfect fit for West Ham. Or maybe Marco Silva? Just a couple of names who I think would make all the difference.

I couldn’t be in more agreement, it’s frankly ridiculous paying out mega millions on players, and not be prepared to pay a comparable small amount on a decent managers buyout clause, this for me, is a principle reason, why we are and will continue to do badly, their is an old saying, you only get what you pay for, we paid nothing for Potter and Loppy, we got nothing in return, The two managers Tin Legs mentioned, would indeed be ideal for WH, I could never understand why majority of WH fans wanted Potter in the first place, but I hoped to be wrong, but the results speak for themselves, the fact that JWP is playing regularly says it all, passes backwards, sideways, short pass forward, then back again, boring, possession football, no end result, madness

Too many football decisions being made by non footballing people, Barry silkman and will Salthouse will be busy last week of the window punting thier garbage on us, not looking forward to the window or next season at all

The man to sort us out is Mourinho, although he would not be the most popular. We would certainly be in for the cups and he would sort us out. After 2 years he would be gone.

No thanks, most managers seem to have a certain shelf life and IMO he is long past his sell by date.

I'd give him 2 months with sullivans meddling Brooking, he wouldn't come to us at the moment we are a club on a significant downturn and cannot attract the calibre of player mourino would want, plus they won't pay potter off I fear we are stuck with him until Xmas
