JWP will sign for Burnley and score 2 or 3 free kicks. You can see it happening.

Most of us don’t give a monkey’s. As long as he no longer plays for WHU.

He didn’t score one free kick in all his time with us and had plenty of opportunities

I can’t really remember him having that many opportunities to score from free kicks as we were never really that high up the pitch to win a free kick, we were always sitting back inviting the opposition on to us, I just hope he doesn’t score goals that keeps Burnley up and relegates his team, otherwise he’ll becoming back to us in the championship, will he be happy with that, if he gets a goal scoring opportunity then my advice to him would be to put it in row Z ?

Tinlegs, try to be less argumentative. Read my statement properly. It’s irony, which means speaking about the opposite for humour or effect.
You mention ‘most of us’. May I suggest you speak for yourself and not others. They can do that themself.

With some of the fantasies you post Brooking, we can only imagine you believe what you write. If you feel differently maybe make that clear with an emoji or just write what you truly mean.

AOII, please refer to the irony of the comment. It is self explanatory. ?

Brooking, a lesson in the English language and advice from you is akin to Donald Trump’s assertion that he is a genius and almost as hilarious! ?

I am interested in the fantasies comment. Please embellish your answer.

I apologise Tin. I genuinely felt you did not understand the irony angle. Generally, those who come out with such obtuse language do not understand.

Lets hope if he does put a few in its against, Forest, Leeds and Palace.

I agree, Iron.

Brooking you've been on here talking up Just walking Pace as if the team would be better with him in it, now you think he's going to score goals for Burnley which would relegated us.

Your concept of irony is about as far of the mark as Alanos Morrisettes, as I said if you mean what you say don't attack those (many of us who can't wait to see the limpet gone) with unfounded suggestions that we're in the minority, especially on here where you might be JWPs Onlyfan (maybe get a subscription) ?

I do not believe I have not verbally attacked anyone, neither have I mentioned being a fan. I have stated that his treatment has been deplorable by the management, and our midfield was inept and ‘could’ have used him. Furthermore, when we originally signed him the man was very good. I believe he was playing further forward.
I did mention in a previous post that the gentleman, possibly lady write for themself.

They did state ‘most of us’, therefore indicating a very high percentage wanted rid of JWP.
Please indicate where I have ‘suggested’ a minority? The word has never been used.
Feel free to reply, but along with anyone else you align yourself with, please correlate your facts.
To think, this started with a statement which was a throwaway comment using irony is interesting.

I’m not into all this back and forth at each other but I’m glad JWP has gone, I personally think he ain’t prem quality anymore. But what I will say is if the troll doesn’t spend money on replacement, be it defense or midfield I think he’s lining up to get out should we fail to stay up, if we do stay up he will come running on his Brady’s back I mean his steed chucking a bit of money about shouting we have this club at heart…….

Bollocks

Brooking, enough! You clearly misunderstand the meaning and use of irony. Your original post was not ironic. You merely pointed out that if the circumstances to which you refer were to come to fruition, they would RESULT in irony. Your phraseology employed was not ironic.

I was simply stating an opinion based upon previous comments voiced by other contributors. It was not argumentative; just simply at odds with your opinion. If anything, you introduced an element of confrontation with your follow-up post.

The statement was 100% irony, Tinlegs, but as usual, you dragged it into murkier waters.

Anyway, I’m tired of this subject now and wish JWP all the best for his time at Burnley.

Think we may get a draw this weekend, although it’ll be tough.

And your last post clearly illustrates why different posters on here describe you as “delusional”! ?
