Wins a win 3 points ok, it's always difficult against packed defence, but tepid performance for me, thought we would go for couple more goals in the second half
only cameos of Ferguson so far, but nothing much to note from him, ,

That was three points, yes, but incredibly boring to watch. Like a training exercise. Very strange substitutions. Why didn’t we see Guilherme? I thought it was an ideal opportunity to give him a run out. And why replace Todibo with Mavropanos? Still, three points are three points, but I think we didn’t capitalise on Leicester being so bad.

I imagine Todibo is being managed while he recovers from injury, better to take him off in games rather than risk him getting injured. Additionally, Mavropanos getting minutes amy actually boost his confidence a little, whilst getting Kilman and Mavropanos more familiar with each other. I mean, I am speculating but still.

I agree we didn't capitalise much, but couldn't care at this point, I am just happy with the three points. Keep us in the league, get the team ticking over and familiar with Potter's style of play and build on a solid foundation next season.

3 points is 3 points and i think we all now know that this season is about survival ready for major changes in the summer and to be honest I can't remember the last time we kept two clean sheets in successive games? Whilst football at the moment isn't glamorous we can see improvements. I can't wait for next season

Mac, good one, not glamorous, my pal had to give me a nudge to wake me up, 15 minutes into the second half, I thought we would come out and start having a real go for a few goals, but safety first ok, we are approaching the point, where we won’t be caught, but last night, laid bare for me, once and for all just how badly we need strikers, in the Cameos I have seen, Ferguson, doesn’t look the answer, he looks slow and ponderous

Jesus lads! You need to remember how bad things were under Lop before moaning about a win being a bit boring, baby steps and Rome wasn’t built in a day etc.

A bit unfair on Ferguson, he’s not played a great deal of football lately so it’ll take a while for him to get back up to speed, far too early to judge

I have to agree with Irons87 lads back to back wins and clean sheets and you’re now whinging it was a little bit boring, who cares! 8 weeks ago we had a nutter as manager and we were all concerned about relegation, we are now safe and have a much better manager in charge. Please don’t turn this forum into a positivity vacuum like it was a couple of years ago

Nope not me Dabber. As I said, I can remember back to back wins with clean sheets. For me the clean sheets are massive signs of improvement AND more importantly we avoided West Ham syndrome where we win one and are guaranteed to lose next one! I can't also believe prior to the arsenal game whining so called West Ham FANS were calling for him to be sacked Jeeeeez give the guy a chance. Not whining anymore are they lol ? ? ?

It's also refreshing to see he has plans to bring lots of youth through next year, well overdue

People calling for him to be sacked after 6 games was just laughable Mac, you just can’t take those sort of people seriously mate! ?There’s a lot to look forward to imo keep enjoying the rollercoaster ride buddy

I’m not being funny, but where were these people calling for GP to be sacked after 6 games? If true, that is plain crazy. I’ve searched for these “sack him” calls, but I can’t find them anywhere. Clearly, my knowledge of the WHU media is not exhaustive, but the worst I found was people saying ‘we have to give him time to get things right’.
As for negativity, I believe that everyone has the right to call it as it is as they see it, and there’s no question that the Leicester game was boring. That’s just honest and not levelling any blame against any individual (s) .

Totally agree Tin. Both sides of the coin have to be appreciated whether the views are positive or negative. It's what makes the site enjoyable

I agree 100 % with the last 2 points. I haven’t personally heard anyone saying sack potter, but I have heard Nic from claret and booze saying there have been people on his forum calling for Potters head, which is ridiculous and I can only think it is by people with a vendetta against potter or they are actually fans of other clubs stirring the pot.
But people are still entitled to complain or make negative comments as much as people were entitled to make positive points when we went through the later Moyes years or Loppy’s disastrous tenure.
Things are miles better than they were at the start of the year but there is still plenty about the club as a whole and how it is run that is not desirable and should rightly be exposed, especially if you are a paying fan
