At the risk of being a "killjoy" I think we should all lower our expectations for Tuesday night. The hype and emotion of the occasion is likely to get to the players and the fans (i will probably end up sobbing like a baby) and the result we all desperately want is unlikely to happen. BUT, that should not stop us from having a really good old knees up. Nothing can ever take away all the wonderful memories I have of the Boleyn, but progress means out with the old and in with the new. let's live the dream, COYI.

Sorry, but I don't want to hear this rollover stuff, IF we are to become abig player, in time to come, WH will face pressure games on a regular basis' that's what success means and delivers, man United have lived with it long enough, as have Chelsea, city' liverpool arsenal etc, it's time for west ham to do the same, IRONMIKE.

Totally agree with you IRONMIKE and I think we learned on Saturday that consistency is Key whether its a pressure game or not. Too many times in the past we've succumbed when the chips are down. OK, we're getting better, but we still let ourselves down on the big occasion.

If we want to be at the top we have to get better at handling pressure. Teams that are successful (especially in the premier league) are teams that handle the big games the best, but also manage to churn out a result when they play poorly, a lesson we need to learn because there are times we will underperform. We also need (when we play well) to learn how to put teams that play poorly against us to the sword "A La Man Utd" used to. Teams knew they could well be in for a hammering for kick off!

Look at Leicester this season and how many games (on the run did they win 1-0).

I agree with all the above posts. But who knows what will happen on Tuesday night. Saturday was the worst performance I've seen all season and it really took me by surprise. Credit to Swanswea though - I thought they were excellent. And extremely clinical. Our defence was shaky throughout and are final ball/ finishing was way off. We had enough chances in the game but somehow never really looked like getting back in to the match

Tuesday night will be special. Let's make it the celebration it should be and fingers crossed we get a result aswell.

Absolutely, COYI.

Man U fan in peace gents. Can't wait to be at the game tomorrow night for a proper good game of footy under the lights and will be a priveledge to be at your final home game. I know many of my fellow United fans coming feel the same. I just hope LVG doesn't strangle the life out of it! Oh and we need 3 points too!

Hi Eric79

Thanks for comment. Think it'll be a highly charged emotional evening for thousands of IRONS fans out there. History in the making and a privilege to say our farewells to a ground we called home, but onwards and upwards if we want to compete at the top.

Gonna be one heck of a night. Oh, and I don't think you'll get your 3 points cause we need them aswell.
